Review of Behara Polytechnic College,Visakhapatnam.

Placements: Around 20 students got placements in the overall college. The highest salary offered is Rs. 12,000 per month, and the average salary offered is Rs. 8,000 per month. Anand Group of Industries hired students in different locations in production departments. No student got any internships in any industries. It is is an excellent college.

Infrastructure: Our college provides a boy's hostel facility which provides good hostel accommodation for students with food, canteen, medical facilities, and sports. There is great ground and also the canteen. The hostel is also excellent.

Faculty: The pass percentage is 65%. The training period is also good. The course curriculum is relevant. The teaching is also excellent. Students can gain good knowledge.

Other: Behara Polytechnic is a private institute. I opted for a diploma in mechanical engineering and it is for 3 years. There are 120 seats, and we have a jumping system exam.

Review of Behara Polytechnic College,Visakhapatnam.

Placements: The roles offered by the companies are salesmen and servicemen in car and bike showrooms. They provide jobs only for interested ones by taking money from students. The top role offered by the college is at Royal Enfield, with a salary package of Rs. 18,000 per month. Sometimes, top companies come to the college.

Infrastructure: They don't provide hostels for boys and they only provide hostels for girls. Boys should search for a rental house in the surrounding area. They don't give students playtime. Some labs are not used because the machine got damaged.

Faculty: They teach you very well. If you are interested, you can learn, but they are changing the way of teaching because of the students. They don't give practical knowledge to students.

Other: Fests are good. They are money-minded. They are always thinking of ways to take money from students. The faculty doesn't allow students to bring mobile phones to college.

Good infrastructure and facilitates but not satisfied due to lack of labs.

Placements: 20 students only got placements in overall college. 12000 is the highest salary. 8000 is the average salary offered. Anand group of industries in different locations placed in production departments. No students got any internships in any industry.

Infrastructure: College infrastructure is good but mobiles are not allowed. There is library having no books. Volleyball and kabaddi are mostly played. Faculty also support for participating in other college fests. Canteen was very worst, I have never seen such canteen.

Faculty: The teaching quality is good only for some subjects. They are not as much as good. The B.Tech graduates have mostly joined as faculty. Course curriculum is relevant only but it doesn't make the students industry ready. The faculty collects money from students for every event.

Other: Brother suggested to choose. Interesting topics on machines. Theory subjects should reduce. Fest celebrations are good but money collected from students.

I am satisfied with our college, and there are good placements.

Placements: I got an academic percentage of 71% in my course, and most of the students passed out from this college. The lowest salary offered ranges from Rs. 8,000 to 15,000 per month. There are top recruiting companies for our college, and about 80% of the students got internships from our course. The salary package offered is 2 LPA, and the highest salary package offered is 3 LPA.

Infrastructure: There are a huge playground and Wi-Fi facility in our college. Our college has labs, classrooms, a library, sports equipment and tennis courts. The quality of the food served is good, and medical facilities are available. The food served in the canteen is good and available at affordable rates. Facilities are good.

Faculty: The teaching provided here is helpful to students and improved my knowledge. The teaching quality of the teachers is also good. Students get ready for the industry because more lab sessions, industrial visits, AutoCAD, computer labs, training, non-destructive tests to learn materials and more skilled operators are provided in our college.

Other: There are more job opportunities for diploma in a mechanical engineering course, so I have chosen this course. Fest and events organised are good here.

Candidate must have passed 10th grade or S.S.C. Examination conducted by State Board of Secondary Education, Andhra Pradesh/ Telangana or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto by the Board of Secondary Education, A.P/TS, such as Central Board of Secondary Education(CBSE), Indian Council for Secondary Education(ICSE), National Institute of Open School (NIOS), A.P. Open School Society (APOSS), 10th class examination conducted by various State Boards of Secondary Education in India with Mathematics as one of the subjects. Candidates from NIOS/APOSS/other recognized examinations deemed equivalent to SSC by the A.P. Government must have passed all subjects, including Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry, with a minimum of 35% marks in each subject. Candidates who appeared or are appearing for SSC or equivalent examination being held in March-2024, and whose results are yet to be declared can also appear for POLYCET- 2024.
