It is a place where students will learn something.

Placements: As per the placements perspective this college for being a polytechnic college, and they tried their best to give better placements records for the students. More than half of the students got placed in the well known companies.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure for the course was good. The library and laboratories were average.

Faculty: Faculty members were good in this college. Students will feel like they were talking with their older brother and sister. Students will get help from them even outside of this college also. They were always ready to help students, and exams were good.

Other: The crowd and campus of this college were good. Students will get a canteen where students can find every single thing which they need. Students had outside food in this college. Straight outside of the main gate students will find a bus stand which provides direct connectivity with the railway station and also with the main bus stand. So, there was no such kind of issue and scholarships were provided also.

Overall, I had a good experience during the course.

Placements: There were no placements during my tenure because of covid, and only one company came here, which was Tata Power. But none of us from civil got placed in that company. Now, everyone has gone to different colleges for higher studies in different states.

Infrastructure: I was living in the hostel, and the hostel life was good. I must say, the food and accommodation facilities were good during the three years of my civil engineering. The area and rooms were decent in quality and condition. The food was good and also lodging.

Faculty: The faculty members were very good at teaching. Many teachers are leaving the college and new faculty are being recruited. All of them were well qualified and were very good at teaching practical courses.

Other: The campus is very good and huge. Surroundings are beautiful and very delightful.

Placements: U2022 As reported from college faculty members and college administrative block near about 85% students get placement every year in our course. U2022 the highest salary package offered in our course is 4 Lacs per year. The lowest salary package offered in our course is 1.5 Lacs per year. Average salary package offered in our course is 2.5-3 Lacs per year. U2022 Top recruiting companies in our course are Tata Projects, L&T, Shyam Steel etc. U2022 Every year about 45% students got internships from our course in companies like Shyam Steel, Jai Balaji group etc. U2022 Top roles offered in our course are - Junior Civil Engineer, Diploma Civil Engineer project head etc.

Infrastructure: U2022 We have one of the best infrastructure and facilities of India in our college. We have large CCTV controlled and LED projectors provided classrooms, modern equipments based laboratories, large and very well-stocked libraries where all different subjects books available of various writers. U2022 In hostel we have good and clean living rooms, 24 hours fresh water supply. In canteen we have both veg and non-veg type tasty and hygienic foods available. We have local government. Hospital nearby for medical support. We have huge playground, indoor sports set-up, gyms for students. Wi-fi available inside the college campus and hostel for 24 hours everyday.

Faculty: U2022 The teachers are really helpful. They are qualified with M.Tech or B.Tech degree. They all are very knowledgeable. They teaches students by using English Hindi and Bengali language to make the topics understandable for students coming from different states. Their teaching quality is excellent. U2022 The course really makes students ready for industries. U2022 To pass the exams students have to attend maximum classes and study the whole semester very well. Overall pass percentage without giving suplimentary exams is about 77-82%.. .

Other: U2022 I had taken this course as I wanted to learn civil engineering since my childhood. This was one of my aim in life. The best thing about this course is that the syllabus has covered the whole civil engineering course chapters very well. U2022 I think to more industrial visits can be added to this course to get the course more improved and understandable to every students. U2022 Events and fests are organized every year in winter months. We have many scholarship schemes for eligible students. The campus is very clean and green. Many trees are planted around the whole college and hostel campus to make the environment healthy and eco friendly.
