It has good faculty members and average placements.

Placements: 80 percent of students get placed in my course. The highest package offered is 4 LPA. The lowest package offered is 2 LPA. Larsen & Toubro is the best recruiting company for our course. 100 percent of students got internships in our course at the KEC company. The top role offered in our course is supervisor.

Infrastructure: The department has good classrooms, labs, Wi-Fi, and a well-stocked library. Hostel facilities are decent with basic amenities. Mess and canteen food are average but hygienic. Medical support is available. Sports and games facilities are satisfactory.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable, with good teaching quality. The course curriculum is relevant and helps build industry-ready skills. Semester exams are moderately difficult, and most students pass with proper preparation. If we study daily, then it is easy.

Other: I chose a Diploma in Civil Engineering course for a strong career scope. The best parts are practical learning, site exposure, and core knowledge. Improvements are needed in equipment and industry training. The campus has a good crowd, events, connectivity, and extracurricular support.

Overall, all things are good. This is the best college for me.

Placements: The maximum number of students in this college are getting jobs throughout the campus processes. The salary for these jobs is good. Big and small companies visit this college. The highest package is 5 lakh per annum, and the lowest is 2 lakhs per annum.

Infrastructure: Facilities are good in this college. All course-related facilities are available in this college. But this college has no proper students' canteen or hostel. However, you can find hostels and food stalls just outside the college.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful. They teach critical topics as much as possible, and their behavior is very good. They prepare you fully for the industry. With teachers’ teaching techniques, you can easily score 70% to 90% marks in the semester exam. All staff and teachers are good,

Other: In this college, every year, a fresher party, annual sports day (indoor and outdoor, like chess, table tennis, football, cricket, volleyball, badminton, etc.), cultural programs, and farewell events for teachers and students are arranged.

Everyone should read this review.

Placements: 80% of students got placed in this Civil Engineering course from North Calcutta Polytechnic. The highest package is 8.5 LPA, and the lowest package is 1.6 LPA in my course. Top recruiting companies are Larsen & Toubro and Ramco Cement. 70% of students got internships in Hindustan Construction Company (HCC), and Essar Group. Construction project engineer is top role in our college.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi facility is not available for students. All needed labs are available but many labs are too old and not in testing condition in our college. Hostel facility is not available in my college. College canteen food is good in taste but it is overprized. Outside many boys hostel and girls hostel are available.

Faculty: Teachers are very good and helpful. They gain knowledge and share that knowledge. They give students notes and suggestions. Our syllabus makes students ready for many jobs in workshops so all students are industry-ready. Semester examination is very tough.

The best college of engineering in Kolkata is Polytechnic.

Placements: 100% placement is guaranteed. INR 3–5 lacs is the average package offered. L&T, Tata, etc. come to our college for placements. Our college polytechnic organizes the best events on campus every year and supports students all the time.

Infrastructure: Our college has a very good digital structure, and all the best teachers are available in our college. Hostel mess is available in our college; sports are organized every year; and events are specially organized in every other facility.

Faculty: Teaching quality is the best in the state; teachers are knowledgeable, and they also help students. More facilities are available in our college exams, and question papers are much easier to understand due to college's teaching quality.

Other: I chose this course because I want to become a civil engineer.

Our college provides good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: Around 50% of students got placed in our course. L&T, Jenpa, etc., were the top recruiting companies. Almost 10% of students got internships in L&T.

Infrastructure: In our college, laboratory, classrooms, and library were available. There were two buildings. There was no hostel in our college. The food served in the mess was good. Canteen was also better. There were many messes nearby our campus.

Faculty: Teachers were helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality was good. Few teachers were friendly. Our course curriculum was relevant. It also makes students industry-ready. Semester exams were averagely difficult, and the pass percentage was 80%.

Other: I opted for this course because of my interest in it. Events and fests were conducted. Our campus crowd was normal. Our surroundings were also good. Scholarships were provided to merit students. Extracurricular activities were also conducted in our college.

This is the best government polytechnic college throughout West Bengal.

Placements: About 80%-85% of the students get placements from this college every year. The lowest salary package offered is Rs.84,000 per annum, and the highest salary package offered is 3 LPA. The average salary package offered is 1.8 LPA. Top reputed companies like L&T, Ambuja, Godrej, Ultra tech, Daikin, IBM, etc., visit our college every year. Almost 90% of the students got internships from this college in the above companies as a junior engineer or trainer.

Infrastructure: We have smart classrooms, air-conditioned decorated classrooms, free Wi-Fi, a modern facility lab, and a library available in this college. There is no mess facility in this college. We have a canteen with good quality food served by Bishu da. There is also a big playground.

Faculty: Teachers of this college are top class because of their knowledge, qualifications, teaching style, and frank behavior with students. This curriculum makes students ready for industry easily. If you study, your semester exams will be very good as teachers are always very conscious about the exams.

Other: I opted for this course because the civil engineering course is the mother trade of all engineering courses. It helps students to get a job easily compared to other engineering courses. The AutoCAD teacher must have been better. Every year department feast, all events, fresher, sports and all are conducted here. You can easily access any scholarship from this college.

Faculty is good but placements are going down day by day in civil department.

Placements: Around 10 percent got placement from campus in civil engineering department. The highest package is given by ITDC 20k per month then after one year the money will increase and lower package is 7k per month. Companies like ITDC and L&T and capgimini came for campus placement.

Infrastructure: Hostels aren't available here. You have to find your own way. There are lots of mess in sinthi more area. A small canteen is available where you can only find tea, bread and biscuit. Two big tournament happen in our campus one is football tournament and another cricket tournament.

Faculty: Teachers are qualified. Teachers are helpful. However, I won't say one can be fully ready as a civil engineer. Semester exams are quite easy in our course. If you study properly you'll get good marks. Passing percentage are very high. 80% of the students passed .

Other: This college is one of the best college for doing Diploma in civil engineering.

It is a great college for civil engineering.

Placements: Developments are good in our college. There are more than 80% of students who got placed in this year. The top recruiting companies are LNT, ITDC MN Junction, The Skyscrapers, etc. Many IT companies visited this year and offer job opportunities. The highest salary package offered is 4.2 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 2.8 LPA. The average salary package offered is 3.2 LPA. The top role offered is as a diploma trainee engineer.

Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is good. We are provided with free Wi-Fi in our college campus. Wi-Fi speed is slow but it's okay. The classroom study big, and neat, and clean every classroom is very spacious and it contains more than 80 students. Labs are well-equipped with many modern instruments and machines there are many machines like crusher machine. There is a big central library in our college which contains many books related to our course curriculum and students can take books once per week and use them for their semester exams. There is a big playground inside of our college and students can play any game they want in the playground. Canteen is also available but the food quality is average do the price is it low. There are no hostels available in our college so students have to take PG or rooms to stay and study in our college.

Faculty: Faculty members are good in our college and there are five teachers in our civil engineering department. Every teacher is well qualified and well known to all have many years of industry experience. The teaching quality is great and they taught us very difficultly, and solved problems very easily so that we understand it. The course curriculum is easy and it helped us to grow in our future life. The semester exams are easy but you have to study regularly to pass and score a good marks in the exams. In every semester, around 90% students pass.

Other: Many scholarships are available in our college.
