BGS Institute of Technology B.E. course is an undergraduate engineering course. The duration of the course is 4 years. BGS Institute of Technology B.E. program is offered in various specialisations including Civil Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning, and Robotics & Artificial Intelligence.
For admission to the B.E. courses offered by BGS Institute of Technology, the candidates must qualify the following requirements:
- Eligibility Criteria: Minimum aggregate of 45% (40% for SC/ST) in Class 12 with English as one of the Languages. Physics and Mathematics are compulsory subjects along with one of the following subjects-Chemistry / Bio-Technology / Biology / Electronics / Computer.

BGS Institute of Technology Admission Dates 2026
The BGS Institute of Technology admission for B.E. program is in line with the dates of its accepted entrance exams. The registrations for the KCET exam and COMEDK UGET are ongoing. KEA CET exam will be conducted in April where as COMEDK UGET will be conducted in May. BGS Institute of Technology Admission 2026: How to Apply?
BGS Institute of Technology admits students in its BE courses according to AICTE and Government of Karnataka norms. BGSIT admission for B.E. courses takes places in two main stages: Entrance exam and Counselling. The details of the procedure to get admission in BGSIT BE courses is given below:
Step 1: Registering for Entrance Exam
The candidates have to create their account on KEA CET/ COMEDK UGET website. Then the candidates have to fill in the required details and upload the necessary documents. After that they have to pay the application fees. The candidates can download the confirmation of the exam registration.
Step 2: Entrance Exam
The candidates have to download their entrance exam admit card and appear for the entrance exam to get a valid entrance test score.
Step 3: Counselling & Selection Process
After the results of the entrance exams get declared, the admission counselling process in BGS Institute of Technology begins. Students who secure a valid entrance test score are called by the BGS IT for the counselling process. The counselling procedure takes place in various rounds on the basis of how many vacant seats are available after each round of counselling. The seats will be provided to the applicants on the basis of their rank in the merit list.
