Review of BGS Institute of Technology.
Placements: Placement statistics of our college show that the average salary package provided to the selected candidates on campus drive arranged by the college was 5.1 LPA. Our college also invites other college students to participate in the drive arranged by them. About 60% of students have a chance to get internships.
Infrastructure: A high level of security is available all over the campus. There is no chance for the happening of rule-breaking and other in-disciplinary activities. It collects affordable fees for placements, tuition fees, and transportation. It also has a spacious parking area to park a lot of two-wheelers and four-wheelers.
Faculty: There are 6-7 lectures in a day, with two break intervals and one lunch interval. Daily one to two tests are conducted for any of the subjects so we have a test schedule regularly. We have undergone an MCQ assessment once a week. All our teachers have a higher potential to deliver the concepts.

Good infrastructure but bad placements.
Placements: Placements are not good as of now. Only two companies came to date and hired only girls. Accenture was our top recruiter, and that was also scheduled due to some technical issues. They are also hiring mostly girls in other colleges. The highest package was around 6 LPA, and the lowest was around 3 LPA. Some students got internships by their own skill in both big companies and start-ups. The top roles offered were junior developer, associate developer, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good. Labs are facilitated with the latest PCs, have free college Wi-Fi, classrooms are good, and have projectors. The library is good with a variety of books and free Wi-Fi. The hostel facility is good, but the quality of food is bad sometimes. But the college canteen serves good food at an affordable price. Has good medical facilities as the medical college is next to us. Has all kinds of sports equipment and courts. And sports tournaments and championships will be conducted by both the university and students.
Faculty: The lecturers are qualified and knowledgeable and pretty cheerful. Actually, our syllabus was the same as CS in the beginning and got branch-related subjects in the last two years. But the juniors have a good syllabus focused on branch (AI) from second year only. The college conducts hackathons and workshops more often. But it doesn't make you industry-ready; you need to explore yourself. Exams are moderate, and 90% of students will pass.
Other: I chose AI because it is the most demanding technology now. The college conducts a college fest and ganesha fest every year. And conduct hackathons often. And has clubs like AI, IoT, ML, etc.

In the MBA course, a decent number of students got successfully placed from our college. The average salary package varies from 4 LPA-7 LPA. Top recruiters in our college are from the management and consulting fields. Top roles offered are CRM, consultant, HR, recruiters, etc.
Infrastructure: BGS Institute has a good infrastructure for MBA. Facilities in the college are good enough, including Wi-Fi, labs, library, canteen, hostel, sports, etc. Facilities are available for students. Hostel facilities are also good. The quality of food in hostel mess is good.
Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified and experienced in their respective subjects. They support every student. Teaching quality offered is also really good. Course curriculum for MBA course is relevant and makes students industry-ready. Exams in our college are easy to pass.

College has really good management and infrastructure.
Placements: At the BGS institute of Technology, students were getting decent placements opportunities. Students were getting proper help and support from the placements cell. 4-6 LPA was the average package offered in our college. In this college, the top recruiting companies were Deloitte, TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, etc. Around 60% of the students get internship at this college.
Infrastructure: BGS Institute has a top infrastructure for the MBA course. The college has good-quality facilities for the students. The college has Wi-Fi, labs, a library, a canteen, and other necessary facilities for the students. The hostel facility was available for the students. Mess and canteen food was good to eat.
Faculty: Teachers at our college were really helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. They were offering good-quality teaching to the students. The course curriculum followed in this college was relevant and makes students industry-ready. Students can easily pass exams in the MBA course. Overall satisfied with the faculty of this college.

Placements: About 30% of the students in our batch were placed in our course. The highest package offered was 9.5 LPA, while the lowest was 3.3 LPA, with an average package around 6 LPA. TCS emerges as the top recruiting company, offering promising career opportunities. Approximately 20% of students secured internships, with roles like specials programmer being among the top positions offered.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure includes modern facilities such as well-equipped laboratories, high-speed Wi-Fi across campus, spacious classrooms with AV equipment, and a comprehensive library stocked with relevant books and digital resources. Regarding hostel facilities, our accommodations offer comfortable living spaces with amenities like internet connectivity, common rooms, and study areas. The hostel mess provides nutritious meals catering to diverse dietary needs, while the canteen offers a variety of snacks and beverages. Medical facilities are readily accessible, and there are provisions for sports and games to encourage physical activity and recreation among students. Overall, the infrastructure supports both academic excellence and holistic development.
Faculty: The faculty in our course/department are highly qualified, knowledgeable, and supportive. They provide valuable guidance and mentorship, enhancing the teaching quality significantly. The curriculum is designed to be relevant and dynamic, aiming to equip students with industry-relevant skills and knowledge. This approach ensures that graduates are well-prepared for professional challenges upon completion of their studies. The semester exams are structured to assess comprehensive understanding and application of concepts, representing a moderate level of difficulty. The pass percentage typically reflects a fair evaluation standard, encouraging students to strive for excellence while maintaining a reasonable benchmark for success.

BGSIT: The brand which eagerly waiting for branding.
Placements: 60% of students got placed. 9.5 LPA is the highest package. 1.8 LPA is the lowest package. All service-based companies like TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, Capgemini, IBM, Bosch, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, Accenture, HCL, Mphasis, and many startups come here. TCS recruited more number of candidates. 20% of students got placed.
Infrastructure: The college is good at infrastructure maintenance since the college is outside of the city. Free Wi-Fi access is there for students with moderate speed. Labs are there but not that well-equipped. All are basic only. The hostel facility is available for girls and boys separately.
Faculty: Lecturers are very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable to some extent. Irrespective of your stream, only service-based companies will offer the jobs on campus, with no such industry alignment or industry-specific job offerings. Semester exams can be passed by referring to notes given by the lecturers.
