The college should mainly focus on improving their labs and placement cell.
Placements: The placement in BIT Bhopal is not for the Computer Science student, as there are zero expectations for these students. On the other side, branches like Mechanical, Civil, and Electrical, not electronic, only these three branches' students can expect a bit of placement opportunity. The highest placement was around 25 LPA (off-campus), achieved by a student who cracked Microsoft in the previous 2 years, and the lowest we can say that 2 LPA (on-campus). The average package is lower than 2 LPA among the students who got selected in the batch of 2024. No top companies visit the campus.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is okay, but specifically, the facilities in my department are almost zero. There is no Wi-Fi, but the library is good. The classrooms are like school type, even a government school classroom is better than this college. There is no hostel in the college.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful and qualified, but not that much to teach engineering in a modern way. The teaching quality of the core subjects is good. A big no to the relevant curriculum, students can learn only academic ready, not industry-ready. The level of semester exams is medium, but sometimes one or two subjects' difficulty level is typically higher than others, otherwise, the exams are good.
Other: I chose this college because of the cost, not for any other reason. They provide engineering at a very low cost, whereas other colleges charge more than 1 lakh per annum.

College is good for students of lateral entry.
Placements: The college is good for placement and offers multiple opportunities for students to get placed. This year, there are lots of companies like Delhi, MEPL, and Phone Pay visiting. The college is so good for the lateral entry students. About 20 percent of students got placed.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good, it has four campuses under a single institution, which is spread over about 150 acres of land. Infrastructure is so awesome for students. But the hostel facilities are not good for students, with lots of problems, and are maintained by the college authority.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, and exams are tough, according to the other colleges, because it is a semi-government college. The possibility of cheating is nil. If you want to pass the exam, you need to learn properly according to the syllabus and previous year's questions.
