Good surroundings with greenary good facilities, events and good faculty.

Placements: Almost 95 percent of the students got placements in computer Science and engineering. The highest package in Mani is 82 LPA. The average package is 22 LPA. The median package is 15 to 18 LPA and the lowest package is 7 to 8 LPA. Some of the top recruiting companies are Google, Amazon, Microsoft, Oracle, and Intel. Almost 30 percent got internships at Google and Microsoft. The top roles offered in my course are Software Engineer, Data Analyst, Full Stack Engineer, and Machine Learning.

Infrastructure: The Wi-Fi network in the college is good but it is slow. Using a LAN able on our own increases the speed of the internet. In our department, we have only computer labs and computers are working well but some of them have to be replaced as they are old. The classrooms are excellent and can accommodate almost 110 to 120 students, can be filled freely and the board is visible from the last bench also. Hostel rooms have decent facilities with a study chair and a balcony in their rooms but the bathrooms are not good. Their cleaning should be improved. The food quality is average.

Faculty: Most of the teachers are highly qualified and have good experience and the interaction between students and teachers is also good. The curriculum in this course is relevant and it includes subjects related to coding languages, compilers, computers, database management systems and mathematics etc. Most of the languages are theoretical and we need to prepare on our own to get placements and internships. Semester exams are not very difficult and they are easy to pass. The pass percentage in our course is 90 percent.

Other: I am very interested in programming, problem solving and the placements in the college are quite good. The subjects in our course are mostly theoretical. They can be improved. Internship opportunities should be improved.

Choose this NIT if you get a good branch.

Placements: Above 90% of students in my branch get placed. You can also join various clubs related to your branch, which definitely help with placements. I even heard from my seniors that in a CSE club, the placement percentage was 100% last year, with an average package of 35 LPA.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is decent but not at the level of IITs. Some new buildings have good facilities, but most of the campus is older since the institute was established in 1960. Overall, the institute is worth it.

Faculty: Some faculty members are very good, while others are not. At last, you need to study on your own to get good marks.

Other: If you don’t get an IIT but get a good branch here, this is a great option.

Overall college experience.

Placements: Placements in the computer science and engineering department are very good. The last year's average package was 26 LPA. The median was 19 LPA. The highest package was 82 LPA by Atlassian. Almost everybody gets placed in CSE. Still, 90% can be taken as a percentage of placement. Google, Microsoft, Flipkart, and Atlassian are major companies. The major role offered for a job in my course is a software development engineer. Also, many internships are offered in Paypal, Google, Microsoft, etc.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure can be called decent as the buildings are too old. Some new buildings if you see like the CSE department newly made (8-10 years old it is, still new as compared to others). It is very good in infrastructure. Hostel 10 is good as of the first year, it is very spacious to play anything, good view behind the hostel of Shahpura Lake. Water and electricity supply are also good. However, the mess and network is an issue. Most of the sites are banned in the LAN. Medical facilities are very good in the dispensary.

Faculty: The faculty is knowledgeable and qualified. They are helpful if you initiate. The teaching quality is good but doesn't depend solely on classes also depends from teacher to teacher on how much depth he goes in topic. The course is relevant until bio was added this year which personally I don't like. Semester exams are decent in Manit. You can easily pass with a few days of study before exams. The pass percentage is about 98-99%. Students get industry-ready but also require some other resources from outside of the curriculum taught.

Other: Events like Maffick, Tooryanaad, and Technosearch occur which are very good. There are certain restrictions in the first year, which you should know when you come here. Ragging doesn't happen in Manit. There exists healthy senior-junior interaction. Connectivity is excellent. The college is in the middle of the city. Most of the scholarships are available here to be applied. There are good sports facilities in the sports complex. There is an EV bus system for students.

My college is good for achieving the life's goal.

Placements: College has a good placement percentage in my branch, like around 90% with 80 LPA being the highest and 25 as an average package in the CSE branch. Many top companies like Microsoft, Infosys, Wipro, and many more have done recruitment from this college, and also there are internship facilities available.

Infrastructure: In the course, there is Wi-Fi and a moderate level of hygiene in the department building. Projectors are also available in the classroom. A sports complex is also there, having a variety of different equipment for different games. The hostel is also good, but some hostel has small rooms.

Faculty: Teachers are very good and supportive in this college and also have great knowledge, and the course curriculum is also not too difficult to understand, and the semester exams are also easy if periodic study is done in around some days and weeks by attending the classes.

Point of view of second year CSE student.

Placements: Above 90% of students were placed in the last 2 years of the placement in my branch. The highest package offered was 84 LPA, and the average for CSE was 25 LPA, which is pretty good, making it a very good choice over other comparable options. Top MNCs also arrived at our college, like Google, Microsoft, DE Shaw, and Goldman Sachs.

Infrastructure: Hostels are pretty good if we compare them with the general government college hostels. Hostel mess is also very good, best in my opinion, because in other colleges, the food provided is not edible. Also, Wi-Fi facility is provided all over the campus with good speed. Labs, classrooms, and the library are all very good. The sports complex is the best among NITs.

Faculty: Professors are very helpful. Everyone is well qualified, has done a Ph.D. from a top IIT, very knowledgeable, and not very strict. The course is the same as other universities. The semester exams are not very tough, they are at a normal level. Practically, there is no minimum attendance criterion.

Other: The college was near my home, CSE was the best option available, and placement is very good. Events, fest, campus crowd is very good, connectivity to the city is good.

General Category candidates need to score a minimum of 95 percentile score to get NITs. For reserved category candidates, the 80 percentile score is enough to get NITs.
