Bidhan Chandra College has below criteria for taking admissions to it's various courses:

Courses	Eligibility
B.A.	Candidate passed 12th/equivalent with qualifying marks from any recognised institute/board are eligible to apply. or Candidate passed 12th/equivalent in Vocational examination with qualifying marks from any recognised institute/board are eligible to apply.
B.Com	Candidate passed 12th/equivalent with qualifying marks from any recognised institute/board are eligible to apply. or Candidate passed 12th/equivalent in Vocational examination with qualifying marks from any recognised institute/board are eligible to apply.
B.Sc.	Candidate can take Honours in Mathematics if they have passed in Mathematics at the previous qualifying examination. Candidate who has passed in Business Mathematics is not eligible for Mathematics Honours Course.
BBA	Candidate passed 12th/equivalent including Vocational subject from any recognised institute/board are eligible to apply.
BCA	Candidate passed 12th/equivalent with Mathematics/ Statistics /Business Mathematics/ Computer Applications as one of the combination papers at 10+2 level from any recognised institute/board are eligible to apply.
