One of the best colleges in south India. The beauty of Bishop.
Placements: There are various opportunities for getting placed by campus placement. 99% placement were on campus. Many banks and institutions came for placement. Bank assistant and other various jobs were offered. Overall experience about the college is the best.
Infrastructure: Bishop Heber is known for its beautiful infrastructure. The environment has Wi-Fi, smart classrooms, library, etc. The hostel is clean and comfortable. Consists of 6 bed and friendly roommates too. Food is of various dishes for both veg and non-veg students. Canteen and mess are available.
Faculty: Teachers are very friendly and helpful; they help us understand all subjects. They motivate and encourage students to give their best. Pass is 35 marks and it's not difficult because teachers encourage students to study and there is good integration between both.

    Review of Bishop Heber College.
Placements: Almost 99% of the students got placed in this course. Many companies come for conducting interviews for students like Carmel School, The Hindu Newspaper, Infosys and Radio Station (RJ). Many students got selected, but everyone doesn't prefer to work early, so 60% of the students are interested in working. Mostly recruiting companies want to hire students as English training teachers.
Infrastructure: Our college is surrounded by lots of trees with good and natural source, eco-friendly, etc. Every classroom has a digital facility, and labs are fully air-conditioned. There is a big library with e-source facilities. There is a lift facility for disabled students.
Faculty: Staff members in our department are well-qualified and knowledgeable. They are friendly, motivative and helpful for students. Our department conducts a variety of competitions to encourage students to participate. Even they allow us to participate in other colleges competitions.
Other: I have chosen this course because this course gives us to develop in the teaching field, and it also helps to know about the culture of other countries. I wish the college to improve more lively classes. The fee was worth to learn in this college. They provide scholarships to motivate students who study at a margin level.

The best college for English Literature.
Placements: Around 40% of students were placed in my course. 25,000 is the highest package and 10000 is the lowest package offered in my course. Most of the well-known schools and education companies are our recruiting companies Teacher and Language Trainer are the top roles offered for my course.
Infrastructure: In my college, our department's infrastructure is the oldest and the best one. We had all the common facilities and especially for our department, they provide a Language Lab. We also have a separate block in Library with full literary books. In the hostel, we have all the common facilities and the taste of food is really good. Most of the hostellers got to interact with all functions and sports.
Faculty: The teachers in my course were really good. Most of the teachers are well experienced and knowledgeable. They recruit young staff who had the capability to teach literature like experienced ones. So, the teaching quality is really good. The course curriculum is really good and helpful for our further studies and work places.
Other: They conduct more competitions, it helps us to develop our skills and to interact with all other colleges. The best part is, 'LitHit' department function of English department.

The college timing is a major plus point, as you get lots of time to explore and study beyond.
Placements: I'm not much sure about placements as I'm in first year. But I heard that the Deanery of Training and Placement works well. When you opt for a B.A. English, teaching is not the only way you can choose. There are various other jobs like content writing, communication, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is nice, but Wi-Fi doesn't work in most places. The library is a peaceful place, but lacks a book collection. The quality of food in the hostel is good, but as it repeats regularly, you'll get fed up soon because of the same taste. We have two canteens and one cafeteria. The cafeteria is good for breakfast and lunch, whereas the canteen is the best choice for snacks.
Faculty: The aided staff are qualified and knowledgeable. Semester exams are not that difficult if you study well, but sometimes you'll be confused about the marks. There are chances that you won't be satisfied with your marks even though you felt like you wrote well.
Other: I chose this course to become a professor of English. It is better if the NET and SET coaching are given starting from the first year itself, as it would be useful. Earlier events were nice, but as the principal changed, the college became strict in cultural events like dance. Cinema songs are not at all allowed.

A good college, but now it is strict compared to before.
Placements: Our college has a good placement opportunity but most students fail to use them. Top companies like Amazon, Veranda, and many other companies have recruited students from our college who have the ability to communicate in English. Many companies recruit students for content writing. Many students even completed NET and SET during their academic years.
Infrastructure: We have smart classes with projectors, we have a language lab for language training, calligraphy classes, life skills classes with physical training, and NMEC courses for extra learning. The college hostel is good and the food is not very good but non-vegetarian food is very tasty. They have different blocks for different departments, chapel is there on the campus. Gym facility is available on the college campus, there are two playgrounds, and hostel students are allowed to use playgrounds during their free time. Wi-Fi facilities are available in college
Faculty: Our faculty members are so excellent in their language and teaching, experienced teachers who engage us except some. Course curriculum is better even by learning our curriculum many students completed their competitive exams. There are no MCQS but there are other paragraph questions in exam.
Other: College management is good and many cultural and other programs are conducted. Prayer life is better in this college. Christian can shine in this college through prayers Hindus are also given importance.
