B.E. in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning - Batch of 2026
4.2

Good infrastructure, supportive faculty, and a decent campus life.
Placements: Almost 85% of the students were placed in our course. The highest package was 12 LPA, and the lowest was around 4 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Versa Networks and Airoware. The roles offered are test engineer and software engineer. The students got internships from the companies they were selected for.
Infrastructure: The college has good Wi-Fi in labs, classrooms, and the library. Each department has modern labs with the latest equipment and computers. Classrooms are clean, and every class has a projector. The library has many books, journals, and computers for digital learning. Separate hostels for girls and boys are available. Every room has separate beds and fans. The hostel also has RO water and a solar theater. Wi-Fi is also provided in the hostel. There is a mess that provides good food. It also has a canteen that offers good food at reasonable prices. The college has a big ground for football and also has an indoor games room.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and they teach well. Most of them are supportive, and they guide us in our projects and academics. The syllabus is relevant, and it covers useful topics. Semester exams are a little bit hard; around 70-80% of students pass the exams.

B.E. in Civil Engineering - Batch of 2026
4.6
4Placements5Infrastructure4Faculty5Crowd & Campus Life5Value for Money
It has good infrastructure, better teaching faculty, a good campus environment, and good placements.
Placements: The Civil Engineering department has shown steady growth in placement performance over the years. For the 2023 batch, approximately 55% of students secured on-campus placements. The highest package offered is 12 LPA, which is secured by a student placed in Larsen & Toubro for a project management role. The lowest package is 3 LPA, and the average package ranges between 4.5-5 LPA. These figures reflect the demand for skilled civil engineers in core sectors as well as emerging infrastructure domains.
Infrastructure: High-speed Wi-Fi is provided. It has good and well-furnished infrastructure. It has a good campus environment. Food, medical, and sports facilities are good. Labs and libraries are high-tech. The hostel has good spacing rooms, solar, a good ventilated and HVAC system, and hot and cold water facilities.
Faculty: Faculty members in the Civil Engineering department are well-qualified, with many holding M.Tech and PhD degrees from reputed institutions. Most professors are approachable, knowledgeable, and supportive in both academic and project-related guidance. Guest lectures by industry professionals are also occasionally arranged to bridge the gap between theory and practice.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest, and it is an evergreen branch. The syllabus should be improved. All cocurricular activities are encouraged.

B.E. in Computer Science and Engineering - Batch of 2026
3.6
3Placements4Infrastructure4Faculty4Crowd & Campus Life3Value for Money
Good placements and faculty members, but curriculum needs more industry focus.
Placements: Approximately 50% of students got placed through campus recruitment drives. The highest package is 12 LPA. The lowest package is 3 LPA, and the average package is 6 LPA. Recruiting companies are Versha Network, Juspay, and Airware. 30% of students got internships. Roles offered are software developer, web developer, data analyst, and app developer.
Infrastructure: Our department has well-ventilated and spacious classrooms, equipped with projectors and smart boards to support digital learning. The department has specialized labs relevant to the course, such as programming lab, database lab, and networking lab.
Faculty: Teachers are Ph.D. holders and changing is also good. It's mostly relevant but could be updated more often to match industry trends. Partially core subjects help, but industry readiness depends more on internships, projects, and extra learning. Exams are moderately difficult. Regular study and attending classes make it manageable.
Other: I chose this course due to my interest in [technology/engineering/problem solving], and it has good career opportunities. Strong foundation in core subjects. It provides good lab facilities and project work. It also has exposure to real-world applications. Annual tech fest, cultural fest, and department-level events are conducted. It has supportive, diverse, and competitive crowd. Students from different states and backgrounds made it vibrant. Plenty of clubs and student chapters (technical, cultural, NSS, sports, etc) to explore interests beyond academics. It has green and peaceful campus with a good environment for learning and relaxing.

BLDEA’s V. P. Dr. P. G. offers quality education, good infrastructure, experienced faculty .
Placements: Our college has a good placement record. Almost all students are placed with good companies. Every year, the college brings in more than 30 new companies for recruitment. To be eligible for placement, a student must maintain a minimum CGPA of 7.0 throughout their engineering studies.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of BLDE Engineering College is vast, especially when compared to other colleges in Bijapur. The campus has a great vibe, and the canteen offers a wide variety of food options. The college has a large library that can accommodate over 500 students at a time. Each department has its own section, and all departments have their own HOD.
Faculty: The faculty at BLDE Engineering College are friendly and approachable. Exams are taken strictly according to the rules, and no copying is allowed. Internal exams are also taken seriously. External exams follow the correct timing. The eight semesters are divided into four parts, each with its own set of difficult subjects.
Other: Information Science engineering is very similar to computer science. The courses are almost identical, but in the last two or three semesters, there may be some differences in the subjects offered.

B.E. in Electronics and Communication Engineering - Batch of 2022
3.8
4Placements3Infrastructure4Faculty4Crowd & Campus Life4Value for Money
Satisfied with the placements in 2022, need to have proper well-equipped labs.
Placements: About 80% of students in the ECE department were placed before graduation, with the highest package achieved being 5 LPA. Due to the recession, most of the recruiting companies were service-based, with fewer product-based companies. Companies like Wipro, TCS, Infosys, and IBM, among others, provided opportunities for students on campus.
Infrastructure: The lab facilities are not fully equipped, and some equipment is in poor condition. Only about 70% of the equipment is functional, requiring students to wait for their turn if the available equipment is not in working condition. The canteen and mess, however, are better and provide food that satisfies our needs.
Faculty: All the lecturers are experienced and knowledgeable. However, as a 2018 scheme student, the syllabus was disorganized, causing confusion for both students and lecturers. Some topics that were important earlier were not covered in the exams, while others were included unexpectedly.
Other: ECE is an evergreen branch, providing opportunities to either join service-based companies or product-based companies, depending on individual preferences. As the batch of students affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, we missed out on hands-on experience with experiments. We had minimal exposure to practical work. Despite this, freshers and farewell events were conducted, though we missed many opportunities to celebrate due to the pandemic.
