    According to the NIRF report 2025, median package recorded during BArch and MArch placements 2024 was 2.1 LPA and 4 LPA. 3 out 4 students were placed in MArch whereas 70 out of 92 BArch students were placed in 2024.

    Q:   Can I apply at BMS School of Architecture with 60% in Class 12?
    A: 

    Candidates need to pass a minimum of Class 12 to apply for UG courses i.e. BArch at BMS School of Architecture. The minimum aggregate required for BArch is 50%. Hence, aspirants with 60% in Class 12 are eligible to apply for admission provided they also fulfil the selection requirements.

    Q:   Is entrance exam required for admission at BMS School of Architecture?
    A: 

    Yes, admission to BMS School o Architecture is through CET conducted by Karnataka Governement or COMEDK and NATA for BArch programme. For M.Arch, the selection is based on GATE or Karnataka PGCET scores. The first preference is given to aspirants with a valid GATE score. Besides, aspirants need to pass VRAT conducted VTU for PhD admission.

    Q:   What all courses are offered by BMS School of Architecture?
    A: 

    BMS School of Architecture offers three courses at UG, PG and doctoral levels. The school offers BArch at UG and M.Arch at the PG level. Admission to all the offered courses is entrance-based. The school considers NATA, COMEDK or CET scores for BArch and GATE/ Karnataka PGCET for M.Arch programme. 

    Q:   How can I get admission in BMS School of Architecture?
    A: 

    BMS School of Architecture shortlists candidates based on their NATA score along with CET or COMEDK scores for BArch. Admission to M.Arch is based on PGECET or GATE scores. Besides, aspirants need to pass VRAT for PhD admission. Selected candidates are further called for a PI round. Aspirants need to pay a course fee to confirm their seat after the counselling process is over.

    Q:   What is the eligibility for admission at BMS School of Architecture?

    Yes, BMS School of Architecture offers a two-year M.Arch programme approved by Council of Architecture, (CoA), Govt. of Karnataka. The course is offered in affiliation with VTU and is spread across four semesters. The selection to M.Arch course is based on GATE or Karnataka PGCET score.     Worth doing masters in architecture in this college.
    Placements: Neither our batch students nor our senior batch students had placements. 0% of the students got placed through college placements. Internships were also not provided by the college. Students had to search and do the internship for two months, and it was compulsory. Our college was not serious about the placements as none of the companies visited our college to offer placements and internships.
    Infrastructure: Wi-Fi facility was provided by the college, but sometimes we won't get it on some floors. There were studios lab and one computer lab for architecture branch. The library was good, and all the books were available with respect to the syllabus. For medical facilities, there was a first-aid room in the college. Sports facilities were also provided by the college. Canteen provides good and yummy food, and it was affordable. The quality of food served was great, especially Akki Rotti was tasty and values for money. Hostels were provided in the college, and the hostel rooms were good. There was a separate canteen for hostel students.
    Faculty: Teachers in our college were very helpful, qualified, and well-knowledgeable. Their teaching quality was good. They use a board, PPTs, and interactions for teaching. Workshops and site visits were also conducted. Faculty to student ratio was 1:10. We don't get industry exposure. We had site visits since we were architecture students. We follow the course curriculum of VTU, and it was helpful for the future of students.
    Other: Events like guest lectures and inter-college fest are held in our college. The campus crowd for masters in architecture was around 40 students. There are shopping malls, parks, and restaurants in the surroundings of our college. Scholarships are provided by the college for good performers. We had sports and dance clubs where students can associate with it and get participate in various events.

    What is the ranking of BMS School of Architecture?

    The BMS School of Architecture ranking is 37th by NIRF 2026 under the Architecture category. Over the yrs, the ranking has become better for this college. Its rank says a lot about the quality education it provides to students. The college is trying to get ranked under various other categories.

    How are BArch placements at BMS School of Architecture?

    According to the NIRF report 2025 released, BArch median package in 2025 was 2.1 LPA. 70 students were placed out of 92 students. In 2023, the median package was 1.8 LPA. 79 students were placed out of 93 students.

    BMS School of Architecture is located in Bangalore. BMS School of Architecture is spread across 2.5 acre of land.  BMS School of Architecture has hostel facilities available. There are other facilities also available in the college like transportation facilities, etc.

    MArch placement rate in 2022 and 2023 was 100% as per NIRF report 2025. In 2024, 3 out of 4 students were placed. For BArch, 70 students were placed and 7 opted for higher studies out of 92 students in 2024.
