Placements: About 60% of students placed last year. Package will be low. The highest package is 5 LPA and a minimum of 2.4 LPA packages. Top recruiting companies are IT (information technology) based companies mechanical and civil core recruiting are comparatively less.

Infrastructure: Cauvery institute of technology is vtu affiliated college, with no hostel facilities inside the campus. A college bus is available for Mandya. K RPET Mysore. The laboratory is well-equipped with standard equipment. Food canteen facilities are available, and sports and games are also allowed inside the campus.

Faculty: The mechanical engineering department has well-experienced faculty members. Good technical quality teaching. Industrial knowledge and ready students for industry. Vtu (Visvesvaraya Technological University) cbsc syllabus is quite tough based on my experience in the mechanical branch.
