JEE Main 2027 session 1 online application form is now available on the official website for Ch. Devi Lal State Institute of Engineering and Technology admission to the BTech, BArch and BPlan courses till Nov 22, 2026. The exam will be held on Jan 22,2027 to Jan 24,2027 and Jan 28, 2027 to Jan 30, 2027 respectively.

My point of view after two years of experience.
Placements: Placements in my college are average, especially in Computer Science. The Computer Science batches consist of around 65 to 70 students. Only 2 or 3 companies come for campus placements. A maximum of 5 students get placed, with packages ranging from 3 to 5 LPA. In 2022, the highest package of all time was 10 LPA. The average package was 2 LPA. The top recruiting companies are TCS and RD Infro Teach. Most students do online internships. Around 2 to 3 students go for offline internships. Sales roles are offered mostly.
Infrastructure: The college and hostel infrastructure is good. There are separate hostels for boys and girls. The college has two smart classrooms. Seven Wi-Fi connections are provided throughout the campus. Two libraries are available. Around 500 students live in the boys' hostel, and 150 students live in the girls' hostel. Wi-Fi is available in the hostels. The canteen is also open for 8 to 10 hours. The mess food is delicious. Cricket, badminton, volleyball, basketball, and table tennis facilities are available.
Faculty: Some teachers are well-qualified. They have PhDs and M.Tech. degrees. Knowledge is provided through books, but practical exposure is limited. There is no pressure regarding attendance. Students can prepare for government exams or GATE. The curriculum in every college is outdated, while the industry requires skills. Semester exams are moderate. Out of 70 students in CSE, around 20 students are able to clear all the subjects.
Other: This college is good because the fees are nominal. The four-year B.Tech. course costs around Rs. 3.2 lakhs. I want to become a software engineer, so I chose CSE. Coding is the best thing about the course. The college should renovate its infrastructure. Many events are organised, around 8 to 10 times a year. Buses are available from the college gate to the main city, which is around 30 km away. The fee breakdown is as follows. First year Rs. 40,100 tuition fees, Rs. 12,100 hostel fees, and Rs. 30,000 mess fees. Second year Rs. 39,700 tuition fees, Rs. 9,800 hostel fees, and Rs. 30,000 mess fees. Third year: Rs. 39,700 tuition fees, Rs. 9,800 hostel fees, and Rs. 30,000 mess fees. Fourth year is the same fees as the third year.

Everything is so good and properly maintained. But campus placement is so satisfying.
Placements: There is no placement in computer science branch. Mostly students seek off-campus placement. There is a compulsory project after the 2nd year. You have to do your training or internship, that's mandatory.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is very good at both college and hostel. Rooms are available for most of the students. Mess food is okay. Medical facilities are not available in case of emergency in both hostels. Girls hostel is very safe. In hostel, there is no Wi-Fi. Network speed is also low in most of the rooms.
Faculty: Faculty members are very good. All the classes are on proper time, and syllabus is also covered in all semesters. Extra classes are also available at the end of semester. Teachers are strict. 75% attendance criteria is strictly maintained. You will have to remain sincere throughout the whole semester to get good marks. In computer science branch, there is good faculty for all the subjects like data structures, database management system, and computer graphic.
Other: In extracurricular activities, there are clubs like tech beats. There are sports meets, farewell, freshers, and fests in every semester.

I give 5 out of 10. No mobile network. Very bad hostel and mess food.
Placements: Students are not placed in college. 20% of students are placed. Very bad condition of placement at this college. Many students do not get a job after completing their graduation from this college. The highest package is 8 LPA. TCS is the recruiting company. There are no companies that come to hire the students. 0% internships are offered. No students get internships. No roles are offered in this course.
Infrastructure: There is no facility for students. Classroom conditions are bad. No computer is there in computer lab. Wi-Fi is not working in college. The number of books in library is very low. Hostel facilities are very good. There is bad hostel room. The internet is not working in the hostel. There is no Wi-Fi and mobile network. Food quality is very bad. We do not have medical facilities.
Faculty: Teachers are not helpful. Teachers' behavior is not good for students. This course curriculum is not relevant. This does not make the students industry-ready. They do not give any experience in the companies or industries. The checking system for exam is very bad. Exam is average but checking system is very bad.
Other: I chose this course because it is new for students and unique. There are no events and fests.

Placements: Placements are minimal in our college. The highest package offered un this college is 25 LPA. The average package is 11 LPA. 2 or more companies visit every year to our college for placements like TCS. Maximum students got internships here.
Infrastructure: Everything is provided in our college or hostel like Wi-Fi, labs, and a big library. There is a good canteen in our college and a big canteen in our hostel. Everything is provided here at any time. Overall good facilities are provided by our college.
Faculty: Teachers are fully qualified and well-disciplined. They are very helpful to students. They support students in every situation. There is a problem with the 75% attendance criteria. They are very strict about the criteria. Otherwise, they are very supportive.

Review of Ch. Devi Lal State Institute of Engineering and Technology
Placements: Here, in the Electrical Engineering Department, the maximum number of students got placed because our H.O.D is very supportive. Many companies came to our college. But in the CSE and Civil branches, there is zero placement. Electrical, Mechanical, and ECE branches are good in our college, and teachers are very supportive of these branches.
Infrastructure: The facilities in our college include neat and clean classrooms and a big library where all books are available. There are 5 to 6 Wi-Fi zones in our college. In the hostel, there is no Wi-Fi, but a library is present. Hostel food is good but not regular.
Faculty: Our teachers are well qualified and very supportive towards students. They try every possible step to help students score good marks in the final exam. They always help whenever we have any doubts in any subject. The teachers in our branch are awesome.
Other: You get a scholarship here if you are from UP or Haryana. We celebrate a fest every year in our college.

Satisfied with facilities, faculty, good ROI, and infrastructure.
Placements: No direct campus placement is been arranged for CSE students due to the recession but for other branches it's decent. This year most students electrical are placed but CSE students are looking for off-campus placement. Placement for CSE might improve in upcoming years as new batch students are well-focused on skill development.
Infrastructure: The mess and canteen are available in the hostel. Mess food is good for the amount it takes. Not many sports facilities but it is quite good. CPL happens every year for cricket. Wi-Fi is not available in the hostel but in college. Water and electricity facilities are available 24/7 and the rooms are spacious so it's comfortable.
Faculty: CSE course is relevant as it teaches Java, Python, and DSA. Exams happen often in three sessional and final semester exams. The holiday after the semester is long and good. Semesters are finished on time. You will get less time to prepare for other activities if you focus on the academic curriculum.
