Our college is the best in terms of placements and facilities in 2024.

Placements: 75% of students get placed every year. The highest package in our college is 48 LPA, and the average is 6 LPA. Microsoft, Google, and many companies visit our college. Many students get opportunities to do internships. Our college is the best for placements.

Infrastructure: Our college provides decent infrastructure for academics as well as hostel life. The classrooms are spacious and equipped with projectors, whiteboards, and proper ventilation. The department has computer labs with updated systems and internet connectivity. The library has a good collection of textbooks and reference material that supports our syllabus. Wi-Fi is available on campus, though the speed is sometimes average.

Faculty: The faculty members in our department are well-qualified and knowledgeable, and most of them are approachable whenever students need guidance. The teaching quality is good, with some professors using practical examples and interactive methods, though a few still follow traditional lecture style. The curriculum is updated as per university guidelines and covers the core subjects well. It provides a decent foundation in technical concepts, but to become truly industry-ready, students need to complement it with internships, certifications, or self-learning in the latest tools and technologies.

Placements: CBIT College is number one in Hyderabad, with the highest package being 51 LPA, average is 8 LPA, and the lowest package is 4 LPA. It is the number one-rated college in Hyderabad. They provide internships in the top companies that visit CBIT.

Infrastructure: They provide Wi-Fi in classrooms and labs. Classrooms are neat and clean. Also, it is only inside the college. There are a number of games in CBIT College, for example, cricket, volleyball, basketball, table tennis, carrom board, and chess.

Faculty: Semester exams are very tough to pass at CBIT College. The pass percentage is 70%. Teachers are very friendly to students and everything they study focuses best. The faculty is sent to students.

Impressive placements with top companies, but salary packages vary widely.

Placements: In the 2023-24 placements for CSE students, 213 students were successfully placed in various top companies. The salary packages offered varied significantly, with the highest package reaching 59.9 Lakhs, offered by Atlassian, while the lowest package was 4 Lakhs, provided by companies like PeopleTech. The average package across all placements ranged between 5.0 Lakhs to 25.0 Lakhs, with prominent companies such as JP Morgan Chase, Oracle, Microsoft, and Amazon offering competitive packages of 19.8 Lakhs, 19.7 Lakhs, 49.0 Lakhs, and 46.3 Lakhs, respectively. Many students received offers above the industry average, showcasing the strong demand for CSE graduates in top-tier organizations.

Infrastructure: During the first year, 7 students stayed in a room; in the next years, 4 students stayed in a room. I would say the food is average. The PG's are cheaper than college hostels; they cost around 6500 per month for a four-share room located in Kokapet, which is 2.5kms away from college, whereas college hostels are 1 km away, and there is no transport facility provided. Speaking about college infrastructure, the classrooms are very old with no proper facilities like fewer fans, washrooms which have no water supply, and old, dirty benches. The ground and sports facilities are OK.

Faculty: The teachers here are well qualified and helpful, but most teachers teach in Telugu and teach as per the syllabus. The course curriculum is relevant to the industry, except for a few subjects introduced during the 1st year. The college semester exams are easy, and the paper is directly set from the material, and I did not find any creative, hard papers as well. The pass percentage in CSE is above 95.

Hyderabad's Time Campus will join CBIT College for future options.

Placements: CAT College is a well-known college in Hyderabad, and the highest package in CSE is 55 LPA. The CSE group is in high demand, and it will provide internships in the second year. The package varies from 4 LPA to 8 LPA.

Infrastructure: NCBT Ashok provides Wi-Fi and daily cleaning of rooms. The food is average, and it offers games in the CBT hostel, including cricket, volleyball, basketball, carrom board, and badminton. A medical room is also available.

Faculty: Teachers are very friendly to students and explain concepts very clearly. Their experience is about 20 years. They teach many advanced subjects, making the exams tougher, and the pass percentage is 75%. The placement opportunities are very good at this campus in Hyderabad.

Other: I am in the CSE group. CBIT is one of the top branches in CBIT College, and the faculty is experienced. Other branches also have experienced faculty, and they provide high placements, which is why I chose CBIT CSE.

Honestly dissatisfied with the faculty and the (75%) attendance system

Placements: Total 213 offers came to the CSE department. The total strength is 219, but these offers may also include the 2 offers to the same student. Overall, the placement percentage is 80-85 %. The highest package was 59.9 Lakhs. The lowest was 5 lakhs. The average package is approx. 11 to 12 lacs. Top companies are JPMorgan Chase, Goldman Sachs, Amazon, and Microsoft. Almost 10-20% of students got internships till the 3rd year(Vth sem). Top roles are Software Engineer, Data Analyst, and Software Development Engineer.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is there, but it is very slow. Labs are good. The computer labs have AC, but other department labs don’t. The classrooms have old benches with very old fans; it becomes hot. This is honestly what I am saying. And there is no AC in the classrooms. Hostel food is good, but it is a bit old. The hostel and washrooms are a bit messy and bad. There is a medical room in our college but not in the hostel. We have a fitness lab(or gym, you can say) with a decent level of equipment. Table tennis, basketball, cricket, and chess; you can play.

Faculty: The overall faculty is very poor in teaching. They won't clear your concepts; they just deliver the lecture and that's it. The pace at which they teach is fast, mostly when the exam time comes. I think they don't know much about the subject, and those who know don't know how to teach. Yes, the course curriculum is relevant and does make us industry-ready. The difficulty of exams is medium, I would say. If you study for a week before the exam, you can score more than 80%.

Other: Honestly, I chose this course because I thought it had more money in the future. There should be no coursework related to woodworking, carpentry, pipe fitting, and other waste courses in the first year. The college fest is great with a good crowd, and scholarship facilities are there.
