Candidate must have passed 10+2 with Science or ITI Course in appropriate specialization after class 10th from any recognized board.
If seats remain vacant, candidates with following qualifications can also apply:
1 year ITI course with relevant stream after 10th
2 years certificates course from Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering and Technology
2 year certificate course in skilled technician (Machinist/ Machine Maintenance) and quality insurance inspector from R&D centre for bicycle and sewing machine Ludhiana

- CounsellingAdmissions are made through LEET (Lateral Entry Engineering Test) On-Line counseling conducted by National Informatics Centres (NIC) based on the marks obtained in 10+2/ITI course. If seats remain vacant, admissions will be based on the merit obtained in 1 year ITI course/ 2 years certificates course from Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering and Technology/ 2 year certificate course in skilled technician (Machinist/ Machine Maintenance) and quality insurance inspector from R&D centre for bicycle and sewing machine Ludhiana.
