Each B.Tech course may have a different seat intake. Every year, 120 places are made available for B.Tech programmes in computer Science and engineering. Each year, about 60 seats will be available for the B.Tech programme in Electronics and Communication Engineering. Depending on demand, seats for all the other courses will be available. Between 30 and 60 seats may be taken. All students will have a different tuition schedule for the duration of the year, as the cost of each course may change depending on demand for the course.

Plaksha University accepts multiple entrance exams such as JEE Main,  SAT India, and ACT, followed by an interview round for final selection. Chitkara University does not provide any additional entrance examination for admission. There are two main criterias for B.Tech. Hence, aspirants with 60% in Class 12 can apply provided they also fulfill the subject requirements for the preferred course. Candidates must also meet the selection criteria for admission to applied course.
