Never come here. Classrooms don't have proper working fans.
Placements: 90% you require without a homestay, if you are from Chandigarh, you have to score 80% to take admission in civil or mechanical. If you have to take the case and ECE, you have to take 90 from the last few years. Civil placement is very low, and the average package is about 4 LPA-5 LPA.
Infrastructure: AC is available Only in teachers' cabins and academic cell. No AC is available in the class. The infrastructure is good, but they clock the gate. We have to walk from the parking to go to the next building, or we have to go to the first floor. The linkage is available, but the lift is not working in one building.
Faculty: Not all faculty are good, but it's okay. Teachers are knowledgeable. The quality of some teachers is average, but some are very nice. Semester exam papers come from Punjab University, and most of the difficulty is in college. It is moderate, like quite not that much, you have to score a minimum of 40 in the exam out of 100.
Other: I chose this course because I didn't have any other option.

B.E. in Mechanical Engineering - Batch of 2027

Really good in placements this year in 2025, and good in study too.
Placements: In mechanical atleast out of 35 students, 33 or 30 get placed. The highest package is 13 LPA, average is 7 LPA, and the lowest is 4 LPA. Top recruiting company for mechanical is Godrej. Students got internships in CSIO and BIS, some local companies too like BELL and DRDO.
Infrastructure: Girls hostel is clean and neat. Mess is good. Wi-Fi facility is there. We have a library. There are mess and canteen. Good food is available but not that good. But for boys hostel, it is somewhat mess. There is cold water to drink, and the hostel rooms have a balcony.
Faculty: For mechanical branch, faculty members are sweet and helpful. They explain things much well. Faculty teach you to tackle the interview, and they teach you everything. Semester exams are somewhat difficult but if you study hard marks can get better. Pass percentage is 40 out of 100 marks.
Other: Mechanical engineering is a wide option to choose for a career like non-tech or tech. The course is already good, it doesn't need anything to change in it. Event happens mostly, and fest happens once a year in November. Scholarships are there for the top students who get more than 60% in their category. Extracurricular activities require you to take your own supplements to play. There are volleyball ground, football basketball, table tennis, and many more.

It is a good college, but if you get a quite good college or PEC, go there. For less fees, you can c
Placements: There is an average placement. Salary lies between 5 LPA-6 LPA for computer science and engineering and for other core branches like civil, mechanical, and ECE are below 5 LPA-6 LPA. In my perspective for placements UIET Chandigarh or PEC Chandigarh is better than this college.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of this college is the best. There are big lecture halls with air-conditioning facilities on different blocks for every branch and there is an elevator facility available. Hostel is not the best, less number rooms are available and in one four students are living together. Your privacy might be a concern.
Faculty: Faculty members are great and very helpful. Punjab University's curriculum is followed by this college. There are a total of 2 mid sems of 30 marks, 1 sem exam of 50 marks, and 20 marks based on behavior and attendance. In mid sem best of two can be taken.

Best college to consider.
Placements: The number of students placed in BE mechanical is approximately 80-90%. The average package is 10 LPA - 12 LPA. Top recruiters are Adani, Total Gas Gooderage, BEL, Quant, etc. About the internships, there are 2 type of internships, 1 is 6 week internship that is compulsory to do, and 2 one is 6 month which is not compulsory, you can do that if not you can give the exam for that semester.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure are good, not too bad according to the fee. I can say it is a good library, labs are average, and classrooms are average too. The hostel is not that good. The mess is okay, not too good but hostel fee is Rs 2,000 yearly.
Faculty: Teachers and teaching at CCET are very good. The exams are not that hard compared to Chandigarh as exam comes from notes and the material provided by teachers. The paper is set from a main branch but good thing about CCET. Teachers of CET check the paper. The teaching at CCET is very good.
Other: I chose mechanical as my course because of my interest in cars and automobiles. The events are not good but the college provides scholarship.

College is the best.
Placements: 85% of students got placed. The highest package is 1.5 crore per annum and the lowest salary is Rs. 30,000. Recruiting company is Google. 80% of students got placed in engineering and 70% of students got placed from our course. Top recruiting companies for our course are Google, Amazon, Flipkart, IBM, Infosys, Springboard, and Techno.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure and facilities are good. The food and hostel facilities are good. Medical and security are also good. Infrastructure and facilities in the hostel are very good. The food and hostel facilities are good.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, well-qualified, and knowledgeable. The pass percentage is 65%. Exams are moderate. The teachers are very helpful and very good.
Other: I chose engineering. All things are good here. All events and fests are organized.

Everything is good here, and I encourage others to take admission in this college.
Placements: The college is insane. You will be taught some good skills and get hands-on experience. Some of the remarkable placements are 1crore LPA. While such packages are exceptional and rare, and the average package for CSE students has been quite solid, hovering between 6.2 LPA to 6.3 LPA.
Infrastructure: The campus is fully Wi-Fi enabled, with great labs and good PCs. There are more than 3 playgrounds, special medical facilities, and great food with a good canteen. There are also cultural activities, sports events, etc.
Faculty: The teachers are well-qualified, holding a Ph.D. degree and with great teaching skills. Many are certified in their domains. Some also have experience in industry or research, which adds practical value to their teaching. Overall, the teaching quality is good.
Other: I didn't find any other college with these facilities, so I chose this college. Its ROI is great. Many events and technical fests are organized, with Angaaz and Jashan being among the most popular.
