Absolutely satisfied with everything.

Placements: For animation, overall, the percentage of students enrolled is low because of the tight curriculum and strict yet fun faculty members. About 25/200 are placed. You will get a good package depending on your performance in academics. The dean and all higher-ups really have great connections with big industries.

Infrastructure: The college has amazing infrastructure, but once you explore, it feels small, but it's actually good. The environment, the vibe, and everything is well here. Wi-Fi is good. Labs are equipped well. Classroom (D-Art gallery) is the best. A library is provided. It is the best part. Campus stays open 24/7. Good hostels, but not good food. I mean, you get less nutritious food in a mess. That gets better if you have better control over what to eat and what not to. There are a whole lot of options. Medical facilities are good. Sports and games are good.

Faculty: Great faculty members, teachers, professors, and dean. They are very helpful, very flexible, very good quality in teaching. They are highly qualified and provide quality teaching worth, deeply concerned about each student's performance. This animation course really makes you industry-level ready if you are ready to take all of its learnings and experiences, and a lot of efforts are ready to be given without hesitation. Juries are hard. But it can be overcome one day.

Other: Except mess food, everything else can be less stressful.

Our college is average in terms of looks but I won't recommend anyone for the hostel.

Placements: The highest package offered in our course is 50 LPA, the average is 4 LPA-5 LPA, and the lowest is Rs. 25,000 per month. Around 60-70 percent of students got internships through our course. Very few students are placed within our course mostly around 25-30 percent of students get internships from our course.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure available for our course and department is very good. Wi-Fi availability, in terms of hygiene, is very good and clean. Lab, classroom, or library are very good, as well as the availability of products. The hostel facility is a little bad but sports and games are good.

Faculty: Our faculty are very qualified, knowledgeable, and helpful in nature. Some are indeed strict but still their teaching made us industry-ready day by day. The course curriculum is very relevant and provides a lot of information. Semester examinations are not too difficult if you have studied well.

Other: I chose this course because I love it.

I am satisfied with the faculty and placements but there could be some changes in security rules.

Placements: Chitkara Design School is great. It provides a great education. About 80% of students get placed in good companies depending on their portfolio. The average salary package offered for graduates ranges from 8-12 LPA. Around 80-90% of students get internships from good companies. Some top roles offered in my course are graphic designer, motion designer, etc. The university has a great teaching staff and ensures student placements to a large extent.

Infrastructure: There are various facilities, such as a separate library for design students, as well as a common library for all department students. The college provides its own Wi-Fi as well. There is a separate block known as the Picasso block for design students, and based on specialisation, different floors are offered. There is a separate place called Sportoium where there are facilities like a gym, pool, courts, basketball court, etc. The hostel also has good infrastructure. There are AC and non-AC rooms with single-sharing, double-sharing, triple-sharing, and four-sharing rooms as well.

Faculty: There are great faculty members. Teachers are very approachable and helpful. They are always there to guide us. All teachers are well qualified from great colleges. The course curriculum helps students develop portfolios which help them in their job interviews. The pass percentage is 50%.

Other: I am quite interested and keen to learn about design, so I chose it.

An Average Chitkarians life.

Placements: 60-70 percent were placed in our course from the previous batch, so from my knowledge, it is 8.5 LPA. Many companies come, like Wipro and many more, so according to me, 70 percent of students get internships, but it is based on student knowledge too, so it may differ. The top roles offered are UX Designer, Senior UX Designer, or UI Designer.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our block, which is named Picasso Block, is amazing. It is one of the best blocks on our campus, and the classrooms are also good. The library is different for every course, like designing different and engineering different, but there is a main library too. The mess food is below average, and the canteen is good; it has many options for students to eat, so yes, it's good. Sports and games are also very good on our campus, and there are many clubs as well for participation.

Faculty: The teachers are good, but the thing is they treat students like they are in school still, with many limitations and strictness. Other than that, the faculty is international too, which brings new knowledge and curriculum to us. Exams in our college are such that the designing department takes a jury for every single project, and it is based on your learning. If you have studied and know the basics, it will be a bit easy, and if not, it will be difficult for sure.

Other: I chose this course because it is something new to everyone and can help us in the future in many aspects. The best thing is learning new software and exploring new things. They should improve the curriculum and give students more liberty in terms of studies and not make students feel like they are still in school.

Placements: Many opportunities are available for internships.

Infrastructure: The hostel is very good. The security facility is great. It enables us to work late at night in the studios. The latest equipment is available to prepare us for the industry standards.

Faculty: Teachers are supportive and knowledgeable. They have a great grasp of the subject they teach. They also keep giving us tips on how to survive in the industry. The jury system helps students to get an overview of where they stand in the journey. Faculty members and jury members are all industry experts who are well-connected with the industry. They guide us on our creative journey and also advise us on our creative practices. They also help us to get into the best network. Teachers help us with our projects as well. The course is for 4 years.
