The KCET 2026 registration window will open on Jan 17, 2026 for admission to the BE/BTech and other courses. Students can register till February 2026 ( Tentative). The exam will be held on April 23, 2026 and April 24, 2026.
The CMAT 2026 exam date for admission to MBA/PGDM/MMS courses is Jan 25, 2026, and the result can be expected in Feb 2026.
The MAT 2026 Feb session registration is open. For PBT mode, the last date to register is Feb 23, 2026, and the test is scheduled for Mar 1, 2026. Further, for CBT mode, the registration closes on Mar 2, 2026, and the test will be held on Mar 8, 2026.

Scholarships

Scholarship 1

Merit Scholarship is being awarded in September every year. In the first year, the scholarship will be decided on the merit of the pre-entry marks, mid-semester test and attendance in regular classes. Merit scholarships for the consecutive years will be decided based on his/her performance in one end-semester and two mid-semester examinations of each year. Candidates whose fee ranges up to Rs.10,000 will be given 50% refund of fees, whose fees ranges from Rs.10,000 to Rs.25,000 will be given 25%

Scholarship 2

Scholarship for Financial Assistance must apply to the Office of Awards and Scholarships with supporting documents. A student who enrolls in the first year degree or P.G. course who is economically weak but diligent, especially from rural areas is eligible to apply. He/she should furnish enough evidence of his/her eligibility enclosing community/ income certificate from an official not below the ranks of a revenue inspector. Applications will be scrutinized, and a final interview with or without a parent/guardian by the scholarship committee will decide his/her eligibility.
Students seeking this scholarship at the time of admission are expected to fill up a separate application for scholarship available along with their main application form and submit to the Office of Scholarships for perusal. The scholarship committee will then interview them on the allotted dates, and their concessions will be decided prior to the payment of their fees. The percentage of concession for different categories is recommended as 0 to 50% for self financing courses and 0 to 90% for others

Placements: Christ University is situated in Bangalore and offers high placement opportunities for the students. The highest package of this college is 50 LPA, and the lowest package is 8 LPA. Companies like HCL and TCS visit this college every year for placements. At least 60% is required for placement.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of this course is very good for the students. This university offers many opportunities like all-time Wi-Fi facilities for the students and faculty, and the classrooms of this college are fully air-conditioned. This college has a big library for the students. The hostel of this college is very big for the students, and the food in both the canteen and mess hall is very good.

Faculty: The faculty of this university is very supportive of the students. They teach in a very good manner. Best college life that I have seen.

Placements: In my experience with B.Sc. Psychology at Christ. Around 40 to 50% of my classmates opted for placements, and the average package offered is about 4 to 5 LPA, with the highest reaching 6 to 7 LPA for a few roles related to HR, market research, and sales. Psychology graduates are often encouraged to pursue a master's degree for better career prospects. Major recruiters included consulting firms, startups, and organizations looking for HR interns or research assistants. Many students completed internships in organizations like NGOs, mental health startups, hospitals, and corporate HR departments as part of the curriculum.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure available is very useful. We have neuroanatomy labs where we cut the brain of a rat and try to understand the functions of the brain. The hostels and food available are also really good. The medical room is present in the 3rd block, which is in the middle of the entire campus. Sports and games we have two huge football grounds, two basketball courts, and various other places.

Faculty: Psychology, at least the faculty is very knowledgeable. The course curriculum makes sure that you have knowledge about everything in your field, which makes you the most eligible while sitting for placements. The semester exams are hard, they come at the right times however, you learn to have a life and work balance where you make sure you score good but also participate in extracurricular activities. Passing marks are 40%.

Other: I chose this course because you finally get to do a B.Sc. even though you have not pursued Science in 11th and 12th. Every subject is carefully designed for the needs of industry. The one thing I hope they improve is more student feedback and taking them seriously. Christ is, was, and will always be famous for its extracurricular life and fests. Every other day, there will be fests happening, which will make you tired, but you will have an amazing college life. Scholarships are also offered, which can be checked on the website.

A little note about my college.

Placements: 85% of people were placed in my course. The highest package was 8LPA, the lowest 3.5 LPA, and the average was around 4-4.5 LPA. The top recruiters were EY, KPMG, and SAP. We had to search for internships on our own, so people went for government internships and some local companies in their hometowns. I went to TCS. Most people got into Analyst/Developer roles.

Infrastructure: The department has good facilities: labs, Wi-Fi, and projector classrooms. Teachers prefer writing with chalk on the blackboard. The library has a good number of useful books. There’s only a boys' hostel inside the campus for undergraduates. There is no girls' hostel; it is private and located outside the campus. There are 3-4 canteens, and the food is average in the canteens. There is a medical room for emergencies. The doc is a nursing student, and she treats well. There are a lot of tournaments being held now and then for all the sports, mainly the Devadan Cup and Tiger 5. Fests will be conducted, and students will have a good chance to participate, volunteer, and enjoy.

Faculty: Teachers are qualified, but I didn’t find their method of teaching effective. They just come and read out the presentations, and only some teachers will care to explain what the content is about. They say that it is relevant, but I don’t think so because getting knowledge from 10-year-old books doesn’t make you industry-ready. We need to work on some practical things and inculcate skills from the outside world, but that didn’t happen. So that was lacking in the course curriculum.

Other: I chose this course because I wanted to gain exposure to AI and ML. I thought it would be a good start to build my career, but I am not very satisfied. There is a need to improve the lab facilities and lab equipment because they stop working right before the main lab exams, and we lose marks for not getting the results. The campus crowd is good. This year, a lot of first years came in, and they are starting to conduct good events and come up with new ideas. There will be a lot of teaching and non-teaching events coming up each month.

Placements: Every student passes out of the college with a medium package of atleast 6 LPA during their first placement. But some students with their outstanding skills got placed in companies like JP Morgan for an annual package of 30 LPA at their final year. Placements are good at Christ. During your 2nd and 3rd year, you will be enrolling in various skill development courses and you will learn some subjects under the category LCA which stands for learner's centric approach. As I know, the highest package in CSE department of Christ is 36 LPA.

Infrastructure: Labs are well-equipped and maintained. There is personalized Wi-Fi connection for students that students can access whenever they need within the campus. Hostel rooms are clean and washrooms are good, water facilities for both drinking and washrooms are available always. There are various canteens and shops that sell different types of food that are so good in taste. Stationery is available with ATM facility too. Medical room with a doctor is available. Christ gives importance to both academics and sports. There are basketball courts, a huge ground surrounded by lush greenery. There are various clubs and associations to showcase your talents.

Faculty: Teachers are well-experienced and have wide knowledge in their respective fields. They teach students with nearly prepared presentations and through interactive classes. The subjects are relevant to the courses and are mainly focused on the skill development of students. Semester exams are of moderate toughness, and the questions asked are of real world problems related to make students learn and understand more. One should study good to get a higher CGPA.

Placements: 35% are placed. The highest package - 22 LPA, the lowest package - 3 LPA. Accenture, Apple, Netflix, Amazon, Deloitte. AI engineer, IT manager, Software developer. Students can look for their own intern or intern in the college as well, e.g., doing research with faculty.

Infrastructure: The faculty members are highly educated and approachable. They also encourage interdisciplinary research and studies. There are almost 7 canteens on our campus that serve good food. Students interested in sports are also encouraged to pursue the same.

Faculty: The teachers are very helpful. The teaching quality is excellent. Yes, the campus also provides placement training, which makes the students industry-ready. The semester exams are not that difficult with proper preparation. Yes, the course curriculum is relevant.

Other: We have tons of fests! One can enjoy their college life whilst studying.

Love the infrastructure and crowd.

Placements: The average package for computer science is about 6 LPA. The highest salary is 32 LPA. I received this information from one of my faculty members. Companies such as Infosys, TCS, Cisco, and Trevista are some of the highest recruiters on our campus.

Infrastructure: Kengeri Campus is known for its excellent infrastructure. It stretches about 80 acres and is well-maintained. It's lush green everywhere you look. Wi-Fi is provided throughout the campus. Library consists of two floors and offers a vast collection of materials. Hostel life is very disciplined. The food is diverse as there is a huge north and south canteen present. About 3-4 more stalls offering various food and drinks. A cafe coffee day is also present. The grounds are excellent. Football, cricket, and two basketball grounds are present as well.

Faculty: Teachers here on Kengeri Campus are very chill and understanding. The course curriculum is relevant to today's standards. Holistic education is a course Christ endorses and placement training sessions every week are really helpful as well. We have 3 internals called CIA-1, CIA-2, CIA-3, and an end-semester exam at the end. The CIAs make up 70% of the final result and end-semester marks make up about 30% of the end result. So, if you do well in your internal CIA, you are set for the semester.

Other: Christ University is known for its events and fests. There is at least one event in a month by any department. The fests are huge and we have fun during DJ night and concerts. The crowd is really fun and easy to talk to. People from all over India come to this college so you will have plenty of options to choose your mates. Campus surroundings are a little boring.
