Christ University Kengeri Campus MTech Courses & Fees 2205: Admission, Application & Selection Criteria

For Christ University Kengeri Campus, MTech admission is conducted in March and May. The MTech admisson process is inclusive of the admission process, inclusive of application, appearance in the selection rounds, offline admission process, and document verification. However, before beginning to apply for the course, candidates must have a basic knowledge of the MTech course. A step-by-step Christ University Kengeri Campus admission process that students need to follow is as follows:

Step 1: Christ University Kengeri Campus MTech Application Process

The application process for the MTech course at Christ (Deemed-to-be University) will close approximately a week before the scheduled selection process. Students can fill out the Christ University application form on the official website. Find below the steps for the application process:

Step 1.1: Visit the official website and click on 'Admission', followed by clicking on the level of the course students wish to get into.

Step 1.2: Select the school under Christ where the desired course is offered.

Step 1.3: Select the desired course and click on 'Apply Now' written against it.

Step 1.4: Register as a new user by entering the name, contact number, email-id and creating a password.

Step 1.5: Log in again and fill out the complete application form. Pay the application fee and submit the form.

Christ University Kengeri Campus MTech admission registration fee is INR 5,000 for all programmes.

Step 2: Selection Rounds

The Christ University Kengeri Campus MTech selection process is inclusive of Skill Assessment (SA), Micro Presentation (MP), and Personal interview (PI). For the SA, the applicants will be given a topic to write. Further, for the MP round candidate should be able to talk for 90 seconds, on a topic given by the panel. Finally, for the PI rounds, the candidate will be interviewed for ten minutes. The selection process (SA_MP_PI) will be held in person at the venue selected while submitting the application form online

Step 3: Merit Lists/ Offer letter

Once the Christ University Entrance Test scorecards are released, candidates are offered admission based on the results in an electronic format via mail. The results of the selection process will be available on the official website. Additionally, selected candidates receive an E-Offer of admission that is valid up to the date mentioned in the offer letter.

Step 4: Document Verification & Payment of Admission Fee

Candidates must choose a preferred date and time from available options to facilitate a smooth admission process. However, the fee payment must be done online. Candidates are required to pay the fee for the first year, including the Admission Registration Fee, in full as part of the admission process. Followed by this, students are required to go through the document verification and are informed about the date of commencement of the course.

Christ Kengeri offers scholarships as awards and fee concessions to students who are officially admitted to the BTech cousre. The 'Merit scholarships' are offered to students based merit of the pre-entry marks, mid-semester test, and attendance in regular classes. Further, the 'Scholarship for Financial Assistance' is offered to economically weak but diligent students, especially from rural areas. As per the Christ Kengeri scholarships, candidates whose fee ranges up to INR 10,000 will be given a 50% refund of fees, candidates whose fees range from INR 10,000 to INR 25,000 will be given a 25% fee refund, and those whose fee ranges above INR 25,000 will be given a 10% refund of fees.
