The final year batch is yet to go out, and it is a new university, so placements are not that great.

Exploring the academic landscape: a review of the Presidency University.
Placements: Almost 50% of the students placed this year in my course. The highest package offered was 1400000 per annum, and the average package is 350000, which is decent. The top recruiting companies are Infosys, Benz, and many other MNCs. We will get to see how many intense opportunities are provided. The top role in my course is cyber security head in the companies.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is too good, and the faculty are highly qualified and have deep knowledge in the subject. Wi-Fi connections are available at every corner of the institute, and the library is a little bit small, but we can access all kinds of books, journals, and many other books that are relevant to academics.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, highly qualified, and more knowledgeable compared to other colleges. The curriculum is so relevant and makes a student industry-ready. Mostly, there are two exams conducted in the midterm and end term, as the name suggests.

Review of School of Engineering, Presidency University, Bangalore.
Placements: At first, I thought we had the best placements, but due to the recession, we are not getting teaching jobs; it's not the campus's fault. There are no campus placements for the IT sector, only jobs in marketing and other fields, which are provided by the college to show that they can offer placements.
Infrastructure: The hostels are excellent, but the courses offered are not satisfactory. As a student, I cannot understand what these courses are trying to achieve. Irrelevant subjects are given, and it is hard to discern any logical connection between consecutive subjects. However, the quality of education is good.
Faculty: Most of the faculty are the worst. All they care about is attendance; other talents are not considered. These are the worst kinds of faculty, mainly focusing on attendance. If you sit on the first bench, you are considered a good person; otherwise, your internals may be reduced. It's the worst college; they don't even care about the marks that you should carry for the rest of your life.

Absolutely a waste of time & money. Placements are lower compared to other universities.
Placements: Placements are not up to par. For maximum people, a 3.5 LPA is offered, as are non-sector jobs. Guidance for internships and placements is average; you need to work on it. Placements are lower compared to other colleges, and there is no guidance for placements.
Infrastructure: The course infrastructure is good, and I think the hostel fee is high. Most people stay in outside hostels. The college is large, with a number of blocks, different kinds of labs, and greenery around campus. Different blocks serve different purposes. Classrooms are neatly organized.
Faculty: Overall, it is good, and some faculty are really helpful and can guide us. Subjects are according to the technologies and need to improve real-time examples. For semester exams, you need to study the overall syllabus. Only PPT lectures are given; we need to improve them.

B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering - Batch of 2027

Overall satisfaction is good.
Placements: Almost 85% were placed. The lowest was 3 LPA, and the highest was 5 LPA in the mechanical department. Almost half of them got internships. Top recruiting companies in mechanical departments are TATA, VOLVO, and MAHENDRA. This course is very interesting to study, with much practical knowledge.
Infrastructure: Excellent infrastructure. Well-equipped and advanced labs. Students really love to roam campus instead of listening to classes. Everyone will like the trees and the clean, green campus. There are many courts to play badminton, cricket nets, volleyball courts, basketball courts, etc.
Faculty: Well-experienced lecturers. They help a lot with exam preparation. Teachers are very friendly, except for a few. They explain everything clearly. There is no bad experience with their teaching. They talk very friendly with cool minds. Overall, good and nice.
Other: I choose the mechanical department with passion and interest. And I really love studying it.

Review of School of Engineering, Presidency University, Bangalore.
Placements: The package of our college is 13 LPA as mentioned on the college website, and the average package is 5-6 LPA. Companies that visit our campus are DELL, TCS, IBM, etc. Actually, I don't have an idea about internships, but I asked my seniors, and they said you can get an internship if you work hard and develop skills in your college life.
Infrastructure: You will find a very good atmosphere. Classrooms are well-furnished and well-maintained. We will get a projector in each class which helps in studies. Hostels are 2-3 km far from the campus, but we will arrange a bus. Food is also good. Sports are conducted regularly, and you also get all medical facilities.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, qualified, and also knowledgeable. They will make you industry-ready. In our university, we have to appear in two exams: mid-term and end-term. If you want to pass, you need to meet the minimum criteria set by the university. The level of exams is moderate.
Other: I chose this course because of my passion for coding. Events and fests are held in the university, and you will get notifications in your email, which you have given to the university. The campus has more crowd because the university offers many courses like B.Tech, MBA, BBA, etc.
