Review of CMR College of Engineering and Technology.
Placements: 30 to 40% of the students are joining the ECE course. It has so many benefits. It has opportunities in software as well as hardware. Many students prefer this course. The highest package in my course is 40 LPA. Top companies like Infosys, Microsoft, Flipkart, Amazon, etc. Some of the students went into internships.
Infrastructure: The hostel infrastructure is so good. The maximum number of students is coming here for the best infrastructure. The campus is so beautiful, with nice classrooms and a library here. We have so many canteens and playgrounds. We have a medical facility available 24 hours a day.
Faculty: About the faculty, they are so good. Their teaching quality is amazing. They are very skilled in teaching. This course is very relevant to software companies and also to industry management. It is both useful. The semester is a very tough competition between the students. The question papers are also very tough, given by the faculty.

College management has done an excellent job in providing good faculty members.
Placements: I was so satisfied with the placements from our course. Around 75% of the students got placed on the campus placements drive. The highest package was 7.5 LPA, the lowest was 3 LPA, and the average was 4 LPA. Glass Pac Agi, Larsen and Toubro, and Kirloskar were the top recruiting companies from our course. Internship certificates were issued to around 80%. The top roles were offered in designing, developing, and maintaining.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure was absolutely worth the fees we paid. The facilities were available like good library, free Wi-Fi around the entire campus, AC classrooms, AC labs, seminar halls, auditorium, project labs, radio rooms, etc. The quality of the food in both hostel and canteen was also great with reasonable fees. The medical services like ambulance and treatment were available at the college. Sports and games like volleyball, cricket, basketball, and other indoor games were played regularly at the college.
Faculty: Faculty members from our course had mostly done their PhDs and other higher studies in their course. Their teaching quality had been excellent throughout the academic year. Especially our course curriculum was really relevant, it made many students industry-ready. The pass percentage was great. Around 85% of the students will pass every year. The semester exams were not so difficult.
Other: This course had the best opportunities for the students so I chose this course. The betterments I wish like increasing the industrial visits will be great. Events like cultural activities, fests, farewells, freshers party, crowd meetings, tours, and concerts were the best entertainment for the students.

The college has a good infrastructure.
Placements: 50% of students get placements in our course. The highest package is 10 LPA. The average package is 5 LPA, and the lowest package is 3 LPA. AWS and Accenture are the top recruiting companies for our course. 75% of students got internships from the course in companies like AWS and Accenture. Companies like Tata Motors, Hyundai, and Tech Mahindra hire passed-out students from previous years.
Infrastructure: Good facilities and infrastructure are available for our course in classrooms, computer labs and the library. I would rate for 3 stars quality of the facilities in our hostels. Good quality of food is available in the mess and canteen. Medical facilities are available at nearby CMR Hospital. Good quality sports rooms are available.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful. 70% of teachers are qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is good. The course curriculum is relevant. Semester exams are not more difficult and not easy in this college. 80% is the pass percentage. By direct semester exams and after supply exams, it will be 90%.
Other: I chose this course because of my passion for knowing about the mechanism to move. I should improve the lab equipment workshop to gain knowledge. Everything is good here.

The college has good infrastructure, but placements were okay. Events were fewer.
Placements: Around 30% of students got placed mostly. I think CMR considered placement as the motto of the college, but sometimes it didn’t work out. When it came to placements, a lower percentage of students were seen getting placed in some colleges, and that too mostly toppers. CGPA, of course, mattered in every college.
Infrastructure: Coming to infrastructure, it was good but not much. The Wi-Fi password was not always shared in the college, and using phones during classes was strictly prohibited. If anyone was found using a phone in class, they might have been prohibited from attending the college.
Faculty: Some teachers were helpful, but not all of them. Some were only available on contact, and many lab in-charges and lab faculty were not very experienced. Some of them did not know much about the subjects they taught. Not all were the same. A few of them were really good.
Other: Coming to college, faculty was very strict. Sometimes, CGPA mattered more than anything. There were not many events because this was CMR.

CMR College of Engineering and Technology College review.
Placements: Students do well in academics and actively improve their skills, and get placed earlier. Some of our Seniors have recently been recruited as interns by Catalog with an offer of a 25 LPA package. Some other students are placed with a stipend of 45,000 per month with a 40 LPA PPO at Autodesk, and 1 Lakh per month as interns with an 18 LPA PPO at Cisco. The highest package given to anyone from our college is 60 LPA, while the average is nearly 40 LPA.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure includes essential amenities such as a clean water supply, spacious labs, a large auditorium and playground, a well-stocked library, and well-maintained classrooms and canteen. Hostel accommodation is also provided, along with transportation facilities for students without personal vehicles. Mess service is hygienic, and the food menu is acceptable, they need to add more food items liked by students.
Faculty: Faculty members and staff are good here in their respective fields. During the first year, the teaching style closely resembled school-level instruction, which helped in the transition. Annual exams are not too difficult. Academic achievements are celebrated, and top-ranking students receive recognition.

CMR - Way to build your career.
Placements: The percentage of students got placed from our course is about 50%-60%. The average package offered in my course is about 5.75 LPA and the highest is about 42 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Infosys, Amazon, Tech Mahindra, Capgemini, Accenture, Wipro, etc. About 80% of students got internships in above mentioned companies.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure for my course is very good with digitalized classrooms, Wi-Fi, projector in classrooms, and computer labs. The quality of hostel facilities is very good with homely food and hygienic rooms and clean environment. Food in canteen is also very good and budget-friendly.
Faculty: Teachers for course are well-qualified with good teaching and are knowledgeable. They have good way of teaching and easy to grab the concept. By the final year, students are ready for the industry. Semester exams are conducted very strictly as 4 invigilators per room and a regular checking squad.
Other: I chose this course because I want to be software developer. Events are conducted at least 1 per week.
