CMR is a very good college.
Placements: Junior Developer and Data Analyst roles are offered. There are several roles and companies offering jobs. The training and placement team is excellent. They provide training and preparation beforehand. The top company offering a package is Cisco with 52 LPA, and Capgemini has recruited students in bulk.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is great. The campus has 5 huge blocks. The 1st block is only for freshers. Then comes the 2nd block for seniors and MBA students, followed by the library block. The college also has a lawn. The cafe and other shops on the campus are very good.
Faculty: Faculty members are very helpful. The semester exams are not difficult, as regular revision and classes with practice continue after a portion is completed. Not only the exams, but the curriculum is also strict and useful, which is application-based. Faculty members are very friendly and helpful.
Other: There are many events and a huge campus.

Average placements, not a bad college overall.
Placements: Not a lot of students get placed. The packages most companies offer are 4-5 LPA. Companies like LTM, Capgemini, Cognizant, and Infosys recruit students from my course. There aren't many internship opportunities as well. Only a few people get internships in my course.
Infrastructure: There's no Wi-Fi for students. Mobile data doesn't work well. The Wi-Fi is only for labs and some faculty. We have to search for places where the signal is high and use our mobile there. The canteen is okay. Labs and classrooms are good too. The library is very good.
Faculty: Some teachers teach well. Those who are passionate about teaching really teach very well. We get notes for almost every subject. We have to turn library books upside down for the rest of the subjects. The pass percentage is pretty good. The semester exams are easy to pass for those who put in some effort and study.
Other: There's an event called Azura that is held in April every year. Sports events are held before Azura. Hackathons keep taking place.

I am not part of this college anymore.
Placements: At CMR CET Campus, most students got placed. Companies selected students who had a 7.5 CGPA. The highest package was 6.5 LPA, and the lowest package was 3 LPA. Top recruiting companies included Accenture, L&T, Capgemini, and Cognizant. Students who participated in science projects and hackathons got internships in the 3rd and final years. Around 5% of students got internships. Top roles offered were Software Developer, Network Engineer, and Management Trainee.
Infrastructure: The college atmosphere was very good. The campus was very large to explore. During events, the college looked very beautiful. Labs and college infrastructure were very good. Classrooms were neat, and the library was also good. The food in the canteen was good, but the prices were high. The canteen was far from the classrooms. Sports and games facilities were average, and only a few students enjoyed them. Medical facilities were good, and the ambulance arrived quickly to treat students.
Faculty: During my four years in college, I understood the difficulty level of the B.Tech course. Teachers were skillful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality was good. Most students chose IT jobs, so core-related opportunities did not fully make students industry-ready. The semester exams were quite difficult, especially from the 3rd to the 6th semester. The pass percentage was around 60%.
Other: I chose this course to explore opportunities in the core industry rather than the software field. I felt placements should have given everyone a chance. The canteen, stationery store, and sports facilities could have been improved. The college events were very enjoyable. Celebrities were invited most of the time, so I enjoyed them a lot.

Coaching is best, provided by standardized faculty members.
Placements: Apple and Amazon were the top recruiters. They were offering the best packages to students of CMR exclusively in the IT sector. Some other companies like Space, TransUnion, and Cisco also provided attractive salary offers, particularly for the ECE stream.
Infrastructure: CMR College of Engineering and Technology was a mid-tier private institution in Hyderabad. It had a good presence within the city. However, they charged higher fees for facilities provided. The food quality and taste were not consistently good, as it kept changing regularly, mostly remaining below acceptable quality.
Faculty: Professors were well-qualified. They had strong academic backgrounds. At least one faculty member received a faculty award each year. There was nothing to worry about coaching, but students were sometimes concerned about random comments or judgments made by professors.

Decent college with pretty good placements and infrastructure, but not a lot of events.
Placements: Placements, as everyone knows, have seen a significant decrease in placement percentage as AI is improving. The CMRCET, as far as informed to students like us, has had 80%+ students placed with an average package of 5 LPA, median package of 4 LPA and the highest package being 48 LPA and a few other students getting 10 LPA and 12 LPA.
Infrastructure: Coming to infrastructure, classrooms are really clean and neat. The Wi-Fi is a small issue with not a lot of signal on the campus. The library is the best part of the college, if you ask me. You will have everything you need, and even the hostel is pretty decent compared to hostels in other colleges in Hyderabad, and the canteen food is good enough to say the least.
Faculty: Faculty are supportive and helpful, but not all of them. While most of the faculty have knowledge, experience and excellent teaching methods, a few faculty are not that great. The curriculum is the same as that provided by JNTUH, and it is good enough to make students industry-ready. Semester exams and other related exams test the students very well on the subject and are relatively easy if students study well.
Other: I chose this course as I was more interested in how development works and was interested in coding. Best things about the course are that we are taught a coding language every semester, and we also try building a project to learn that language. The problem for me with this course is that we are not taught a lot about how an industry works and what kind of environment we might be working in. There are not a lot of events that happen, nor are sports a big thing here, there is a sports day, an annual day and a few events.

Excellent college (CMRCET) because of good infrastructure, teachers and a wide range of facilities.
Placements: 70 percent of students are placed in my course (CSE). The highest package is 24 LPA, the lowest is 3 LPA, and average is 4 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Wipro, Infosys, and TCS. 15 Percent of students got internships from my course in companies like Infosys and Wipro.
Infrastructure: Good Wi-Fi speed, well-built labs with good desktops, and good in-lab Wi-Fi Ethernet are available. Digital classrooms with digital boards and good airflow are available. A lot of books are in the library. Quality of facilities in our hostel is good, with in hostel gym, yoga, sports, and tasty food in the hostel and canteen. A big ground for sports and games is provided.
Faculty: Our teachers are helpful, and we are mentored constantly with good teaching quality and patience. The course curriculum is relevant and makes us industry-ready with constant updation of curriculum. The semester exam in our college is of medium difficulty. The pass percentage is above 75%.
Other: I chose this course because I am passionate about software and computers. Our college conducts events and fests, and has good connectivity. Scholarship is also available for those who are eligible.
