Think placements and think CMR.

Placements: Above 6.5 CPGA students are eligible for placements. The highest package is 50 LPA, the lowest can go to 3.5 LPA, and average can be 5 LPA - 6 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Autodesk, Capgemini, Siemens, Infosys, Paltech, Accenture, and Cognizant. Not many students got internships. Roles offered are data analyst, SDE, and web developer.

Infrastructure: Overall, a good infrastructure, I would say. It has Wi-Fi facilities, neat classrooms with projectors, and a very big library. Computer labs are also available. Hostel facilities are available for both boys and girls just beside the campus. Auditorium is also available. Canteen is available.

Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified and supportive of students. They provide good assistance to students in solving their doubts. Curriculum does not make them industry-ready. But we can learn the basics. Pass percentage is almost 90 to 95%. Teachers teach the concepts very clearly.

Other: I chose data science because it is in trend and I will sustain. Every field requires data science to gather valuable insights.

Great learning environment and supportive faculty members.

Placements: Approximately 80% of students got placed through campus placements. Our college offered 15 LPA - the highest package, 9 LPA - average package, and 3.5 LPA - the lowest package. Some of the top companies that visit for my course include TCS, Wipro, Infosys, and Capgemini.

Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure are good in the department. The computer labs are well-equipped with required software. The classrooms are well-maintained with projectors, making it easy to understand during lectures. Central library is also well-maintained with wide reference books, and also available novels. On our campus hostel, the food quality is hygiene, and medical facilities are also good.

Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified and well-experienced. They are very supportive but some of the facilities don't have experience and knowledge with their respective subjects. In our college, the course curriculum is relevant. Semester exams are moderately difficult. If students attend the classes regularly and study the syllabus properly, they can score well.

Other: I chose B.Tech in computer science and engineering because I have been interested in technologies, coding, and problem solving. I wish they would improve the teaching system for our course. Our college conducts events, fests, and extracurricular activities also.

Decent college with good infrastructure, but scope for improvement in placements and academics.

Placements: The placement opportunities in our college are moderate, with around 40-50% of students getting placed each year. The highest salary package offered so far is 40 LPA, while the lowest salary package offered is around 1.8 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Accenture, Capgemini, Infosys, and occasionally Amazon and PalTech. Most students are offered roles as software developers.

Infrastructure: College infrastructure is impressive, featuring air-conditioned labs equipped with modern facilities and well-ventilated classrooms, that provide a comfortable learning environment for students. Our college offers a spacious open playground. Students can play sports such as kabaddi, cricket, volleyball, and kho-kho promoting a healthy and engaging campus life.

Faculty: Faculty members in our college are well-qualified. Some are highly knowledgeable and teach very effectively, while others are not as helpful. Few teachers don’t complete the syllabus on time which creates challenges during exams. The course curriculum is relevant and designed to make students industry-ready. Semester exams are moderately difficult, with an average past percentage of around 45%.

Other: I chose Computer Science and Engineering as my course, and I’m somewhat satisfied with college premises. Campus has a huge crowd. Around 1000 students get admission each year across various courses. Events and fests are organized once a year. There are a few extracurricular activities based on students' interests. While the college has its strengths, there are some areas that need improvement.

Student life at CMRIT.

Placements: Nearly 50% of students get placed in our college. The highest package is 44 LPA, and the lowest is 3 LPA. Companies like Capgemini, AWS, and others visit for recruitment. Roles are offered based on students' skills, courses they pursue, and experience from their internships.

Infrastructure: We have separate labs for every subject. Facilities in labs and classrooms are okay. I am a day scholar, so I don’t know about the hostel facilities. The quality of food in our canteen is good, and we have a sports room at our college.

Faculty: Teachers’ behavior depends on students’ behavior. If we behave nicely, they are friendly. They are qualified. The curriculum changes every two years. The semester exams are moderately difficult, and 90% of students pass.

Other: I chose this because CSE is the core, and newly launched courses are introduced mainly in this field. It is my inspiration.

Good college with better placements.

Placements: Placements are given to good companies, and many students do get jobs for sure without fail, and many companies visit the college to share their experiences with the students. The top recruiters are from PayPal, which provides them with information about their jobs.

Infrastructure: Campus is very big, having many classrooms along with the ground for the students to get relaxed and comfortable. There are many places to hang out on the campus itself and the campus has way more trees, which bring a cool breeze that students can chill around for a whole.

Faculty: Faculty is very friendly and are good with the students, and they make sure that every student gets their attention irrespective of the circumstances, which is a plus point of the college, and they clear every doubt to the students, which is great.

Other: Overall, the college is good, but there is heat during the summer, which is barely noticeable for the faculty, but the students who are sitting in class for hours will notice it.

It costs more money to pay, but the study is good.

Placements: The percentage of students placed in my course is 80%. The top recruiting company for my course is AWS. Top roles offered in my course are with AWS, Infosys, and similar companies. The highest package in my college is 10 LPA, the lowest is 3 LPA, and the average is 5 LPA. At most, 60% of students got internships.

Infrastructure: Coming to facilities, every class has one projector, but there is no Wi-Fi facility. Classrooms are not bad, and I like my library. The quality of the facilities in my hostel is good, but more money is needed. The food is not tasty. Medical facilities are available, and sports and games are also there.

Faculty: Some teachers are helpful and they have a lot of knowledge. I like the timetable. This course curriculum is industry-ready, and it has more content that is easy to understand. Actually, it’s not difficult to pass the exam. We can easily pass the exam.

Other: I am very interested in studying this course. That’s why I chose the ECE branch. In my college, there are not many events and fests.
