Good placement, supportive faculty members, and vibrant campus life.

Placements: Around 85 to 95% of students from the course are placed through campus recruitment. The highest package is 45 LPA, the lowest package is 3.5 LPA, and average package is 8.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Infosys, Wipro, Amazon, Microsoft, etc. Internship statistics about 75% of students received internships through campus drives.

Infrastructure: The campus and department are fully Wi-Fi enabled with high-speed internet access. Smart classrooms with projectors audio visual aids, and adequate seating capacity. Separate hostels are available for girls and boys with spacious rooms. The mess provides hygienic and nutritious food with both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options.

Faculty: Faculty members are very helpful, supportive, and approachable. They encouraged students to clear doubts inside and outside the classrooms. Teaching methods included lectures, presentations, and lab sections. Some faculty members also used project-based learning and real-world examples.

Other: I have always been interested in technology, problem-solving, and coding. This course provides a wide range of career opportunities in software development.

It has well-maintained infrastructure, supportive faculty, and limited placements.

Placements: Approximately 80-95% of eligible students from the CSE department got placed. The highest package is 15 LPA, and the lowest package is 3 LPA. Infosys and Wipro are the top recruiting companies for our course. About 75-85% of students secured internships during their final year. The top roles offered in our college are system engineer, cloud engineer, support engineer, etc.

Infrastructure: The campus is fully Wi-Fi enabled, providing uninterrupted internet access for students and faculty members. College has advanced computer laboratories with high-speed internet access. Hostel rooms are well maintained with basic furnishings, healthy and hygienic food with both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options on a rotation basis. It also encourages sports, etc.

Faculty: Faculty members are generally helpful, qualified, and approachable. Faculty members are experienced in both academic teaching and guiding students' projects. The course curriculum follows the Anna University syllabus. Semester exams are moderately difficult as they are conducted by Anna University, with regular attendance, assignment submission, etc. The pass percentage is around 85-90%.

Other: I chose this course because of my strong interest in technology, programming, and problem-solving. The college organises department-level symposiums, coding competitions, tech talks, and other cultural programs.

Placements: 95% of students got placed in our course computer science engineering. CMS College of Engineering and Technology (CMSCET), Coimbatore offers various engineering programs with different placement packages. For 2025, the highest package offered is INR 21 LPA, while the average package range from 3 LPA to 3.5 LPA. College also provides internships with companies like Aspire Systems and TechUnity. IT companies are TCS, Infosys, Wipro, HCL, and Zoho. Other recruiters are Quadra Systems, WTT Technologies, Tevel Cyber Corps Pvt Ltd, Tiyan Infotech Private Limited, Gateway Group, Focus Edumatics, Sutherland, Ameex Technologies Private Limited, and Cognizant. 50% of students got internships from our course at TCS, Infosys, and Wipro.

Infrastructure: For CSE department, they provide labs with computers for each student. They more focused on the practical sections so we are confident in the practical section, and lab provides Wi-Fi. So, we can easily study anything we want to study. College provides library and double chair and bench in the classroom. There are 60 students in our classrooms. Hostel provides good quality food, and also provides booster Wi-Fi for the students.

Faculty: Teachers at my college have years of experience as faculty members. They are more friendly to us. They are good and qualified. They explain our doubts after the class. Semester exams are bit hard but I like that as we study most of the syllabus. Evaluation is hard so we must focus on studies near the exam days. 50 out of 100 is our pass mark. Our college has wonderful years of experience faculty members, and they are very friendly to the students.

Other: I chose computer science engineering because I am interested in studying programming languages and coding. I wish that students could improve coding skills by doing it themselves in the system. So I am trying to improve my skills. Onam celebration, Pongal celebration, and annual day are the three fests in our college, and those are very fantastic festivals. In college, provide more technical events, etc. Scholarships are provided for Tamil students.

Absolutely satisfied with the campus, placements, and studies. The facilities are really good.

Placements: In my opinion, the college is nice and very eco-friendly. Regarding placements, five of my seniors from the CSE department got placed in Infinix. Many students from the ECE and Mechanical departments were placed in Infosys. Companies like Tesla and Amazon are among the recruiters. The college is very budget-friendly, and the minimum annual package feels like 10 LPA.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, library, canteen, mess, medical facilities, and sports games are available. In the hostel, the food is good, with both Kerala and Tamil Nadu cuisine. The hostel has security and a warden to maintain discipline. It has three floors, with four beds in one room, and each student has a cupboard.

Faculty: There are many curriculum activities here, and teachers are very helpful in studies and future placements. Teachers provide support for semester exams, which are very difficult because this is Anna University, one of the toughest universities in India, ranked among the top 15. The pass percentage is 45%.

Other: Events and fests are organized here, along with Hostellers' Day.

CMS College of Engineering and Technology is absolutely the best college .

Placements: CMS College of Engineering and Technology is the best placement college in Coimbatore. In the 2017–2021 batch, 550 students were placed in good companies. Hindustan Construction, Tata Projects, TCS, and Tech Mahindra—these companies visit this college campus for placements. The salary ranges from INR 4–10 LPA.

Infrastructure: This college infrastructure facility was very beautiful. More classrooms and hybrid laboratories are available in this college. Full campus CCTV camera facilities are also here at this college. This college hostel food is very tasty. 24 hour medical facilities are available on this college campus. Some sports facilities are also available at this college.

Faculty: The college teachers are more experienced and highly qualified professionals. Especially our civil department staff are very friendly. They teach very easily. So all students quickly understand the lectures. They are very helpful to our final-year projects. They conduct more extracurricular activity programs every semester.

Other: CMS College of Engineering and Technology is one of the best engineering colleges for placements. So I selected this college. This college conducts fests events every month. This college management gives more scholarships to all students.

The faculty is quite good but the college management should try to conduct more events.

Placements: As I am studying in my 1st year, I don't know much about the placements, but my seniors say that the placements are very less. They have a separate section for the placements called placements cell but it is of no use as it is fails to provide opportunities.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good but of no use as there is no entertainment in the hostel. There are no extra curricular activities. They have sports but there is no freedom for anything and the signal for range is very low in many rooms. The hostel Wi-Fi is in the worst condition.

Faculty: Most of the teachers are good but some teachers are the worst, they don't know anything about their subjects. We wonder how they became a college lecturer. But some of them are very good and have the best knowledge. The passing percentage for our batch was 50% which is the best result in the recent years of this college.

Other: I chose it to become an IT professional in the new generation of AI which had a telling of giving more scope in the industries than the other branches. The management only gives a few programmes which should be improved as the college is not only for studies but also to enjoy life.
