FOR VISUAL COMMUNICATION SPECIALIZATION A test in design to asses concept, application, ability in using line, colour and space in the visualization on a subject to be given at the time of the examination, in tempera, ink or oil pastel on ¼ imperial size paper. College of Arts is an Institution established in 1942 for advanced training in Visual Art, creative and applied, leading to the Bachelor of Fine Art Course of four years duration in disciplines of Painting, Sculpture and Applied Art at the Undergraduate Level and the Postgraduate course of Master in Fine Art in the above mentioned disciplines of two years duration.
The emphasis is on practical studio work, study of prescribed theory subjects and research in selected fields.
The Faculty are practicing as artists, painters, sculptors and graphic designers of national, international repute, and also a selected group of visiting Faculty who enrich the teaching programmes with their expertise, thus providing the students with the opportunity of discussion and interaction with eminent and contemporary artists, designers and entrepreneurs.
