College of Art, Delhi University, commonly known as CoA DU is an Art and Creative College located in New Delhi, India. Established in 1942, The College is part of the Faculty of Music and Fine Arts (FMFA) under Delhi University (DU) and is administrated under the Government of NCT, New Delhi. It offers Bachelor of Fine Art (BFA) in Visual Art (Creative and Applied) and Master of Fine Art (MFA) in various specialisations as UG and PG level. College of Art, Delhi University mainly focuses on studio practicals, prescribed theory subjects and research in the selected fields. It also teaches both the programmes in order to bond relationship of the students with the ever-changing industry of Arts and Creativity. Along with this, it also adds up extensive student-research development projects, workshops, educational study tours, illustrated lectures/ demonstrations by invited guests, etc., under all the departments of Fine Arts to help students with better learning experiences and future success.
College of Art Delhi University Admission 2025: Eligibility & Selection
College of Art Delhi University admission 2022 will be conducted in online mode only. Selection to both programmes is entrance-based. However, due to the prevailing conditions of COVID-19, admission to BFA programme only for the academic session 2023 will be based on merit (based on Class 12 marks) and marks obtained in the College of Art Aptitude Test (general knowledge and Fine Arts) held online. Candidates must register on the centralised admission portal available on the official website of Delhi University. College of Art DU application process begins in the month of April every year. Final admission to a programme is subject to approval from the College after preparing a list of students who cleared the entrance exam.
UG Courses
- College of Art BFA admission is based on the scores obtained in College of Art Aptitude Test (CoAAT) conducted by University of Delhi
- Students passing Class 12 or equivalent to Senior School Certificate Examination (SSCE) can apply for BFA programme
- A concession of 5%is provided to candidates, who have taken any subject such as Graphic Design, Drawing, Painting, Sculpture or Applied Art in Class 12
- Selection of a student depends on the cut-off lists released by the Delhi University
PG Courses
- Final selection to MFA is based on the portfolio of work, a viva and CoAAT, all conducted by the College
- Candidates must have a graduation in the relevant stream to apply for MFA programme

NTA will release the CUET admit card 2026 online in second week of May at cuet.nta.nic.in. Candidates will be able to download their admit cards online at cuet.nta.nic.in. The admit card will be available for download in PDF document and is a mandatory document to be carried to the exam centre. Prior to the release of the CUET UG admit card, NTA will release the advance intimation of exam city slip. It is not the admit card, but will inform candidates about the city. After downloading the CUET UG 2026 admit card, candidates will have to check all the details carefully and ensure that there is no mistake. College of Art University of Delhi offers full-time MFA in four specialisations at PG level. The duration of the programme is two years.
