A majority of students got placed, and that too from non-IT departments, but mostly from the mechanical department, nobody usually gets into IT.

Overall, it is a good college for students.
Placements: In our college, the average package offered is 3 LPA now, and before COVID-19, it was 5-7 LPA. Companies are really nice, so students get placements here. Moreover, there are average placements here, but the faculty members and students are trying to improve placements.
Infrastructure: Our college and hostel infrastructure are good. Hostel food is also good. For EEE, there are more than 2 labs. It has a W-iFi support. Classrooms and atmosphere are very good and fully satisfying. Libraries have plenty of book collections. It also has a digital library.
Faculty: Our college is under APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University. It has a structured course curriculum and an academic calendar. Every event follows this academic calendar. Semester exams are not that tough. If we study well, then we can pass exams. Overall, they are good here.

Good college for studying, but not for activities. I consider better colleges.
Placements: There is a low chance of getting good companies for placements, but some companies will come to recruit. However, it needs to be improved to maintain good job opportunities from this college. From the computer science department, 20-30% of students got placed in previous years.
Infrastructure: Activities like sports and arts are comparatively low, but the college has good potential for sports and arts. In the majority of classrooms, the fans do not work properly, and the class projectors do not even turn on. This needs to be checked and resolved for a better academic environment.
Faculty: Teachers are good, but KTU timetables are poor. First, make the official site more optimized and lag-free, and the dates for supply exams are in the middle of regular semester exams. This will affect the studies of students and lead to poor performance in academics.

Infrastructure: Classrooms are equipped with basic equipment, and labs and library are high-tech. The library has printers, so we can't go outside for printing. Labs are equipped with all materials required, and there are many computer labs, and electronic devices and equipment are also available.
Faculty: The teachers are very experienced and give correct notes and previous year questions to crack exams. We have conducted internal exams and given C marks to all students who work hard. If you work hard, then the teachers help like ChatGPT, they will give us better results.

Building future leaders: My experience at College of Engineering, Adoor.
Placements: The highest package is around 15 LPA. Various companies like Tata Consultancy Services and IBS Software come for placements. Every year, more than 100+ students get placed. Various placement training sessions are also provided by the college. Our college is one of the top colleges in Kerala.
Infrastructure: We have one of the best labs among all colleges. Free Wi-Fi facilities are available in labs, classrooms, etc. Hostels are coordinated by the Parents Teaching Association, providing the best facilities to students. There are 2 separate libraries with thousands of books from each department.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, highly educated, and knowledgeable. They have the best teaching quality. The course curriculum is relevant and makes students ready for the industry. Semester exams are not very difficult, a bit average. Proper homework and revision are necessary for scoring good marks.
Other: I am currently studying in semester 4. Subjects are more core-based compared to previous semesters. Every year, we have an arts fest, sports, a freshers' day, and selections.

Very nice college with good facilities, atmosphere, etc.
Placements: The college is very nice, with a good atmosphere, good teaching and more. The placements are a bit low after the COVID period. Before COVID, our college had good placements and an average package of 5-7 LPA, but after COVID, it decreased to 3-4. But the faculty members are trying to overcome it.
Infrastructure: Our mechanical department has NBA accreditation and a very nice lab and classrooms. We have two libraries, digital and book libraries and have Wi-Fi support also. Our hostel is near the college, just 5 minutes away, and the food is also good. Moreover, everything is fine.
Faculty: Our college is under APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University. They have a good curriculum and academic calendar, everything follows the academic calendar, so there is no lag for exams. The semester exam is not that tough, if you study well, you can easily pass.
