It is a better college in its price range with good placements and faculty members.
Placements: In this college, very few companies visit our campus to hire students, but students get jobs mostly from the off-campus drive in MNCs like Wipro, Infosys, Zoho, etc. The highest salary package offered is 11 LPA, and the average salary package offered is 3.6 LPA. Overall placements count is 150 out of 300 students.
Infrastructure: The hostels are good with great infrastructure and playarea, even students have halls for indoor games. The food is average in this college. The students have great experience within the hostel. It provides 3 sharing and 4 sharing rooms. Overall, it is good hostel for both boys and girls. Our hostel are cleanly maintained. Our hostel fee is less when compared to other private hostels.
Faculty: Teachers are good with high experience. They are good at completing the academic syllabus on time. As our college is constituent college JNTUH students have the same exam patterns as JNTUH. Our college has a pass percentage of 75%. Our faculty are very friendly in terms of getting knowledge over subjects.
Other: Our college location is far from the city and it is nearer to nature. Our college has a great atmosphere. Our college is situated between SCCL coal mine and NTPC and other companies where students can get internships from those companies. Our campus has 1300 students. The cultural activities like freshers, cultural day, farewell, college fest, college annual day, etc., are held in this college. I opted for this mining engineering in this college because our college is nearer to SCCL coal mines and I can get more practical and technical knowledge.

It has good infrastructure and facilities, but the quality of education is poor.
Placements: My course is mining engineering, and the opportunities are very few for us. Some of my seniors got placement opportunities. But in my batch, no one got placed.
Infrastructure: For my course, the college has the best infrastructure such as classrooms, library, and practical labs. The quality of facilities in the hostel is very good, and it has good infrastructure. The quality of food available in the mess and canteen is average. Medical facilities are average. The college suits well for sportspersons.
Faculty: Genuinely, the teaching quality is somewhat poor because they don't have experience in the field. Although the professors are qualified and knowledgeable, they are not involved in the topic. The curriculum is relevant and makes the students industry-ready. The difficulty level of semester exams is average. The pass percentage is somewhat between 70-80%.
Other: I chose the course mining engineering as I'm interested in mineral inventions and excavations. The things that should be improved in my course are lab facilities and experienced faculty. The events and fests conducted in college are quite good. The campus surroundings are beautiful. The scholarships are very useful for students.

Review of College of Engineering Manthani, Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad.
Placements: The percentage of students who got placed is very less when compared to JNTUH, Hyderabad. The highest, the lowest, and average packages offered in the mining course vary a lot. We get offers from SCCL and many other off-campus recruiting companies. The percentage of students who got internships is almost 90% because we have credits for internships in our curriculum. The roles offered in our course vary from site engineer to mineral extractor.
Infrastructure: Our college is one of the best colleges with high-quality facilities and lovely infrastructure. Labs and blocks for each department are separate, with a huge collection of books in the library. The food that we take is of good quality which replaces our home food. We not only do well in academics but also equally participate in sports and games at the university level and college level.
Faculty: We have the best physical training faculty and highly qualified staff who provide us with more knowledge in every aspect. We follow the curriculum given by UGC and JNU Delhi, which is very relevant to an engineering student. The curriculum not only makes us finish our graduation but also makes each student ready to face the industry and corporate world.

The college is good for pursuing mining engineering but not for other branches.
Placements: The college doesn't provide any placements to the students. I think no company has arranged a placement drive in the college for the past 8 years. Instead of placements companies offer internships that might help the students in the future.
Infrastructure: The college has very good infrastructure with an excellent hostel facility. The college has separate hostels for boys and girls. And also it has very good labs and workshops with all kinds of equipment. The quality of food is not so good at the boys hostel.
Faculty: The college has a very good teaching staff. Most of them are M.Tech holders. All the teachers are well qualified and some of the teachers have achieved their doctorates in their respective fields from reputed colleges. The teachers have good knowledge in their respective fields.

Our college is improving its standards every year.
Placements: About 30% of the students from this course were placed from our batch. The salary offered is about Rs. 25,000 to 18,000 per month. Top recruiters for our course are VPR Mining and Ramco Cements. Top roles offered in our course are under manager, supervisors, executives, etc. About 20% of the students got internships in Neyveli, TamilNadu and in Telangana Singareni Collieries Company Limited.
Infrastructure: There is no Wi-Fi facility in our college, and there is insufficient equipment in laboratories. However, our college has good classrooms and a well-maintained library with good books. Good food is served in the mess, and there is an ambulance along with a first aid room. Sports are very well organised, and the physical education department takes care of them.
Faculty: Teachers here are very helpful, and they all are M.Tech qualified with very high standard teaching skills. They communicate very well with us. The course curriculum is very relevant, and we also get on-field training once in every year from 2nd year to get acclimated to the industry. Our college conducts good seminar sessions where every student gives a presentation on the subject related topic, which is relevant to the curriculum. They helped us during the lectures as we all know about the topic in advance.
Other: I chose the mining course as I have an interest in it. The best thing about this course is it is mostly practical oriented and subjected to fieldwork. I suggest that our college should provide interaction between students and the workforce. Our college organises most of the university level cricket tournaments, and it has a very good relationship with neighbouring colleges also. We get scholarships on this campus.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of faculty, but it is home of self learning.
Placements: 100 percentage placed in the mining course and few of the seats are also placed for SCCL. Approximately, INR 50,000 is the highest package offered.100 percent of students were offered an internship but there is a problem i.e students have to search for their internship, then college gives permission.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is not adequate. Infrastructure is well, each room is occupied with 2 members. The classroom is adequate to lessen the classes in a peaceful environment. Every department has its floor in academic blocks with enough staff rooms. The hostel is good, with a variety of dishes. The canteen is closed. Sports are well encouraged with good pt sirs.
Faculty: Teachers are not much well equipped in their particular subjects. But, they will try their best to provide knowledge to the students. Syllabus is up-to-date but sometimes the syllabus was incomplete. It is good to learn and it is also encouraging for self-study.
Other: I wish to improve the labs mainly rock mechanics lab. College is away from home and all facilities are available.

College is developing every year.
Placements: Our group has good placements because this college is situated in Singareni area. Our college has a placement cell which provides major placements for mining and CSE departments. The average salary package offered by the Singareni 4 LPA, which is good and I am happy with it.
Infrastructure: Our college has a huge building for the library, but only limited books are available. Labs for mining are good and well-equipped. In our college classrooms has good furniture and good lighting system. There is a huge ground for playing games had many sports kits.
Faculty: There are very less permanent lecturers who teach content full information which is used to crack GATE and other competitive exams. We have more contract-based lecturers who don't have practical knowledge. They teach old methods of teaching, and it is satisfied by students.
Other: TS government provide E-pass scholarships for students every year.

It is a waste of time pursuing a degree from this college.
Placements: There are no placement drives or interviews conducted in our college. Only 10 students were placed through interviews which were held on the main campus, JNTU Hyderabad. There is no placement cell in our college. The college management started the internship programme recently, and students are not paid any stipend during the internship.
Infrastructure: The college was established in the year 2010, and it is still under construction. There is an administration block, and there are different hostel facilities for boys and girls. The labs in the college are only for namesake, and they don't contain any equipment. The canteen is also useless.
Faculty: New faculty members were recruited recently. Most of the faculty members are M.Tech graduates. The current staff are somehow helpful when compared to the previous year's faculty. Students from mining and civil engineering branches get industrial exposure through internships.
