B.Tech. in Mining Engineering - Batch of 2019
3.2
Dissatisfied of faculty and placements all the time.
Placements: 1.100 percent students were placed in my batch. 2. Salary offered the highest is 40 thousand, the lowest is 20 thousand and the average salary is 30 thousand. 3. SCCL is top recruiter of my course. 4. Overman and under manager roles are offered in my course. 5. The package offered in my course is 3 Lacs to 5 Lacs. 6.40 percent students got internship in SCCL mines and 60 percent students got internship in Neyveli Lignite Corporation Limited .
Infrastructure: 1. Infrastructure is pretty impressive, classrooms are huge, labs are best with all apparatus, the central library is so big with peaceful environment but WI-FI is not provided in my college. 2. Facilities in my college hostel is good but the quality of food in mess is bad and canteen looks simple, no medical facilities, sports and games provided.
Faculty: 1. Teachers are helpful, qualified and knowledgeable but teaching quality is bad as they are not much-experienced faculty. 2. Yes, this course curriculum is relevant. Most of this curriculum is about the practical study so it makes the students industry ready.
Other: 1. I choose this course because my passion is to become a mining engineer. The best things about my course is if we get the job we can settle in life so easily and in this job we get benefits such as company quarters, festival bonus and free medical services etc. 2. The common problem in my course is lack of well-experienced faculty. If this course offers a good faculty then it improves the course. 3. My college is best when comes to events, fest, campus crowd, connectivity, campus surroundings, scholarship, extracurricular activities etc.

The college is below average.
Placements: There will be no placements in the college. For our branch, there will be no placements. According to some sources, I came to know that there will be placements in other branches. Moreover, the placement percentage is less than 10%, and many graduates remain idle.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college was good compared to some nearby local colleges. There will be no Wi-Fi in the college. The labs were good but not for all branches. The medical facility is okay. Sports are not given any importance in this college they conduct like a formality. There is no hostel for boys, and there will be girls hostel within the campus
Faculty: Faculty are not up to the mark. Most of the faculty completed their graduation recently. There will be not more than 20% of experienced faculty in the college. Teaching methods in the college were as usual as other colleges, and it was a waste of time.
Other: Events will be done according to the time, but they are done grandly.

There is no hope in any aspects. Loss of Education and career.
Placements: There is no placements are provided by this college. College is not much reputed and it is not affiliated to any companies. My seniors are still jobless. Even a small company will not consider my college students. Because there is no practical knowledge. Even we don't have any industrial training experience. Principle is not taking care of the students. We asked him so many times for industrial training. But he didnt react anything. Facing problems while studying because nil practice knowledge. Over all we don't get much knowledge. Then who will give any placements to someone who don't have much knowledge.
Infrastructure: We have a Wi-Fi which is 5mbps. And we don't have access to that Wi-Fi. When the admission time they said we have Wi-Fi and u can use it. But when we join they said no Wi-Fi. Internet is connected to personal computers only. Only CSE students have access to computer lab rest of us we don't have any access. In my college area we have less signals of every cellular network. So even with my own mobile or laptop I don't get internet. If we get any doubt we write it in book and then we go home and google that. We have labs and that labs are only showcase purpose. There is no proper equipment for any branch especially my mining branch we don't even have a lab to gain some practical knowledge. Only civil branch have some equipments that's it. Now I am in 3rd year 2nd semister my semister exams starts tomorrow until today we disnt see the face of lab. When ever we compliment to principal sir he says we will arrange staff and bring the equipment. Till now that is not happened. There is only few subjects books are available in library. We have 50 students in my batch there are no morethan 20 books available in library. We have to share 1 book to one batch. We don't have sufficient books. There is no medical facilities in college even we don't have first aid facility also. Canteen has only egg puffs and cool drinks and some 2 rupees chocolates that's it. We don't have much ground. We have a volleyball court but they make that as a parking lot. And a basketball court one pole is fully damaged. Water storage is also not good. Nothing much to talk about positives things in my college.
Faculty: Lectures are not qualified to teach us. Almost all the faculty are our seniors who has passed B.Tech very recently. They cant even clarify doubts which we have raised. They cant even read a paragraph by seeing in book. The problem they explain is very bad only toppers can understand. In my class room my classmates explain to my faculty then the faculty retells that to us. We have 6 subjects and two labs in a semistor. There are only 2 lectures and there is no lab faculty. Those 2 sirs only say other subjects also. But they don't have that much content in them. They cover only 2 to 3 topics in a chapter. Rest they left over us.
Other: We students only plan for every event in college. No budy will support us. We have to ask principle sir multiple times to get permission for the events. This is my third year in college we have only freshers day. That's is we don't have even farewell day also. We didnt enjoy much in college. There is no intercollege compitations.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of the faculty, the placements, the infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: The mining started in the year 2012, and as it was the first time for the mining in our college they did not provide any facilities. They didn't help us even in the training programs in our time. There were no placements provided by the college, no internships, no lowest salary offers provided by the placements and how could I say anything about the highest salary offered. 0 companies have visited our college.
Infrastructure: There is a Wi-Fi facility in our college with good classrooms, a very good library for other branches, no medical facilities, no games and no sports. The labs have very big space without any equipment. If some labs have a little bit of equipment, they are only for exhibition in case of the inspections.
Faculty: The faculty are very helpful. They even don't visit our classrooms. Of course, there is no faculty for some subjects, and some are from the government colleges only. They will teach a fewer number of topics regarding the subjects to us. The curriculum of JNTUH is very helpful. We gain our degree because of the curriculum, and we get a knowledge of the subjects from the curriculum as well.

I am satisfied with teaching, but I am dissatisfied with labs.
Placements: Almost 60 students are placed in our batch. In our course, the average salary package offered is 8 LPA. Many companies offered jobs like Mahindra, Ford, Suzuki, Asian Paints, etc. Many students have selected for placements. Only a few companies have linked with our college. Not all students are selected for placements, and the salary package offered to the students is very low.
Infrastructure: Every facility is available in our college. The college is constructed with a pleasant atmosphere, but classes go irregularly. Few instruments are available. Every subject is not reached, and only some subjects go on. Separate hostels for boys and girls are available, but the food in our college is not good.
Faculty: Teachers were helpful, but they had no experience. The way of teaching was good, and we can understand easily. The mining course is good, but it does not have many opportunities and placements.
Other: I have chosen this course because I am interested in mining. Many students have completed this course, but still, they don't have jobs. So students are facing many problems, and there are no many colleges for B.Tech in our state.

I am dissatisfied because of teachers, sports and campus placements.
Placements: There are no placements in our college, and there are no offers for jobs in other sectors also. Our campus is the worst and not worth to offer campus placements to students. So I would suggest not to choose this college to pursue your graduation.
Infrastructure: Our college provides CF lab, communication lab, lush green garden, canteen, sports and games, first aid facilities, good classrooms and best food for hostlers. Hostel rooms are neat and clean, and our library is large, with many variations of books. Infrastructure is somewhat bad in college premises.
Faculty: There are no faculty members for us, so we should prepare ourselves by reading books and other things. Not only about staff members, but there are also guest faculty members for us who teach in an excellent manner. I went to an industrial visit for 1 month on my own worth. Faculty members are qualified.
Other: There will be many events and fests to celebrate.

This college is the best college in bhadradri kothagudem district.
Placements: In mining there is no placements If we want any placements, work at any cement industries but we can attend for any complicated exams for government jobs. From this college we can join in any colleges in India. In this college there is no faculty to mining department.
Infrastructure: A huge library containing different types by different authors. Wi-Fi is available in the campus but mobiles are not allowed. It contains different types of labs used by different branches. The cf lab contains a number of PCs. They are good at working. The food from the canteen is awesome but the types of food are less. The hostel is available in the campus with good food and with a friendly warden. The campus is situated in a greenary village and wide area. The sportive games are conducted in the campus.
Faculty: The college contains different branches each branch contains with a head of the department who lead the major role for educating the students for those branches. Teachers will be qualified for teaching the educate the students in a simpler way. The students can increase their knowledge in different ways.
Other: College conduct with different events and having scholarship.
