For that, you have to apply for the lateral entry entrance test and in that, you have to score good marks to get admission in this college.

Hi Pratik,
Yes, you can get admission in COEP for B.Tech courses directly in the second year, if you have completed your Diploma. You just need to appear in the lateral entry entrance exam for the same.
6 years ago I may get 150 for CET will I get admission in PICT or coep belonging to SEBC caste.

Hi Vinaya,
If you have not appeared for the gate exam, then you will get admission through management quota. In management quota fees will be high (normally two times) and you will not receive any scholarships from government.

You have to give an engineering entrance exam so instead of MHT CET, you can rather take JEE. But you can get admission here only on the basis of entrance exam.
