College of horticulture yelachahalli Mysore .
Placements: Im 1st year student of COH Mysore, here in my batch there is 75 students we are 6th dean committee the feels structure is like 41k, job opportunities like private sectors are available and also government sectors like agri officer, agri assistant, horticulture offices etc. Are available. About internship and all I don't know. There are 11 subjects in our course including with NSS.
Infrastructure: There is library, but Wi-Fi for students are not available, labs are there for every subjects, classrooms are with projectors and laptops. There is also a computer lab which can be used by students. Every teachers are having their own department rooms in which we can ask doubts. Hostels are good, the food is also good but because of we are keralaites some foods are not likable to us but it's okay. There are fingerprint? System for attendance taking. If any medical issues comes there is medicine with the warden in her room. Bathrooms are good they are cleaned in every week.
Faculty: The teachers are highly qualified, gives sufficient PPT for studying. Any time we can ask questions they would speak to us in a lovable way. Yes the course curriculum is relevant and it is helpful for the future. There is no difficult in the 1st sem if we study we can get good marks. The pass percentage I think so it is 50% for scholarship for icar it is above 70%.
Other: Would able to study new things in every year by changing from 5th to 6th dean committee there is lots of change but the economic and commercial works for students had been cancelled now we should do the chores without any profit that is the only problem. There is lot of difference by comparing with Kerala colleges because here freshers day party is different without having foam party, DJ, band programmes etc. Programs are less but other agri colleges are having programs than this colleges.
