Comprehensive college review: Key insight into academics, campus life, and opportunities.
Placements: About 40-50% of students got placed in my course. The highest salary package offered is 5 LPA. The lowest salary offered is Rs. 25,000 per month. The average salary package offered is around 2 LPA - 3 LPA. All business-related companies recruit our course students because this is related to business. About 40-50% of students get internships. MR, manager, etc., roles are offered.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is installed. Labs are large and clean. We have cleaner classrooms than hostel rooms. The library has multiple varieties of books. There is no canteen in our college, but it is not a big deal because, near the college, there is a market. There is no problem.
Faculty: Teachers have excellent knowledge in almost every field which helps in everything related to study. This course makes students industry-ready. Exams are normal. They are not very difficult and not very easy. The average pass percentage is about 70-90%.
Other: I am in B.Com 2nd year. I chose this course because, in the future, I want to do an MBA. If we use practical work more than theory, it would be great.

Research before admission .
Placements: Approximately 50% of students got placed through campus placement. The highest package is 8 Lacs per annum, the lowest package is 1 Lacs per annum, and the average package is 3 to 4 Lacs per annum. Top recruiting companies are LIC, Reddit, SBI Life Insurance, Shriram Finance, etc. About 50% of students got placed through campus placement.
Infrastructure: Old infrastructure but renovated and modified on a time-to-time basis as required. There is no hostel and mess. Functions and facilities for sports, medical, games, and other volunteers are organized by the college from time to time for the improvement of students, which is also helpful for us.
Faculty: Teachers and faculty are very helpful whenever asking for help and concept clarity. The difficulty level of exams is moderate and as per set by the university. Semester exams are held as per the NEP 2020 policy approved by the government, and the passing percentage is about approximately 80%.
Other: There are a lot of curricular activities done by them on a time-to-time basis, which helps students to grow up their knowledge and get to know or learn more, adding up more skills.

Really good college in terms of feels.
Placements: They provide placement only in professional courses, literally only 20-30% of the students got placed in their placement programs.
In M.Com, they don't provide any kind of placement; they provide placement only in professional courses.
As I mentioned, for M.Com, they don't provide placement.
Infrastructure: If I talk about infrastructure, the college is very old and big. It usually has a very vast area for study and different activities, but when it comes to maintenance, it is below average. No proper facilities, furniture, and cleaning.
DAV college doesn't provide hostel facilities, but they have good sports and games facilities for students.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and well-qualified. They guide you according to your subject matter if you are interested. The teaching quality is also good.
Yes, the course curriculum is provided by Kanpur University, which is followed according to the college. If students attend proper classes, they make students industry-ready.
The semester exams are based on Kanpur University and follow the instructions accordingly. There is nothing special about the exams, but they take exams seriously.
Other: I want a Master's degree because I have to join the teaching profession. That's why I chose the M.Com course.
Improvement is needed in their placement programs, and staff should be soft-spoken.
A few events took place, like the annual function and many other festivals. The campus surrounding area was clean and enjoyable. Yes, they provide scholarship facilities for every course. Extracurricular activities also take place if students are interested.

If you need pace in college, then come here.
Placements: There is no placement in a college because it's like this is a preparatory college, and I was with it because I was preparing for banking, that's why. But if you want to get placement in a college, then take admission in a university, because universities provide placement without any discrimination.
Infrastructure: I think college is very cool and very positive because, you know, college was built up a long time ago, but it's very pretty cool and in every department, they have separate labs and classrooms and smart classes. And timely they organize sports and entertainment.
Faculty: The teachers were very helpful to me, and I am glad that I studied here. And the exams were easy, and teachers help in exams. And the passing marks in the exam are 33, but I suggest that you don't focus on passing marks. Because exams are easy, so try to get at least 5 CGPA.
Other: I wish they would ease the process of admission because it's very hectic. Be attentive when filling admissions forms or any form. This college is because of our Prime Minister, and so many people take admission here.

Great Faculty, Old but Good infrastructure.
Placements: Placement ratio in DAV College is not very high, but they do conduct Rojgaar Mela every year. In Rojgaar Mela in Year 2024, more than 800 students got placement from our college. The average package was from 12,000-30,000 per month. Companies like LIC also come for the recruitment in the college.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure in DAV College is not very good if you compare it to other private colleges, but as it is a very old government college, it has been maintained very well. We don’t have a canteen in our college, but we do have libraries, classrooms, Wi-Fi, labs, and a yoga classroom.
Faculty: Faculty in our college is very good. The teachers are very helpful; they are highly qualified. In B.A., 20+ subjects are available in our college. The curriculum is based on NEP-2020, and it makes students industry-ready. The exams are not very difficult.
Other: I chose this course because I wanted to prepare for civil services. I chose Bachelor of Arts, and History and Sociology are my major subjects. The teachers are very qualified and helpful. The campus is very big and not very crowded. Very few events are organized. There is a very famous Green Park in front of our college.
