Best college of Darjeeling.

Placements: On our college all types of students are placed, but in honour course only the selective ones will choose after the publication of merit list. Our college offered so many courses such as Botany Zoology geography Maths Physics Chemistry philosophy and many more. In Darjeeling government, college has no such facilities of internship from any company but after the consultation with our respective teachers and professors we can get the job. Some of the top courses are PG in Botany Zoology Nepali and in English are available.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure of the Darjeeling government college is very good in my view because it's made in 1948 and still it has the same build quality as earlier. A seperate library is available in every department of the college and Wi-Fi is available for all the students but in limit. Labs are very good as compared to other colleges because it's a government college because of that it's very good.

Faculty: The teachers are very helpful for every students, they treat like their friends and they were also well qualified and knowledgeable. And the semester exams were quite difficult because the question pattern is of CBCS pattern and we don't know what type of questions will come this year but it should be quite predictable after seeing the previous year question papers. But the exam is tough in every semesters. Our students passed percentage is 90% because of the good teachers in our college.

Other: I choose Botany, it's very good subject because of the plants we can walk talk. Because of the protein carbohydrates and other elements and minerals provided by the plants that's why I like to study about the plants. The best thing about this course is I can know all about the plants and their responsibility and so many other things. In our campus generally few fest events are organised such as teacher's day, Gandhi jayanti, independent day etc. Our college have a many extracurricular activities such as our students can participate in any kinds of games such as football, volleyball, TT, Bat etc.

Review of Darjeeling Government College.

Placements: I am in B.Sc. honors student with a botany honors field. This college is known for this course in the whole district and it gives 40 seats in each honors subject. Admission is on a merit basis and no ineligible candidate can ever join this college.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is very well developed away from the main town in a peaceful place keeping in mind students. Girls hostel available and canteen is also available for the students for their lunch snacks and many more things. Sky blue appearance appears from a far distance.

Faculty: Facilities are well developed, each facility is provided keeping in mind the environment of the students. The exam is not too tough as our teacher prepares us and makes them the easiest one. About 33% is the passing percentage and one should score a minimum of 33% on each paper.

Other: I am a botany honors student. It is my dream course and there is no college better than this college in the whole district, my home is near it. Many college events and many programs are held.

Darjeeling government college review.

Placements: Here, only 4 percent of students in the whole college are studying microbiology. The college did not provide any package or job. The college did not recruit companies. 0 percent of students got internships from my course in my college. It is totally based on the students.

Infrastructure: The college's infrastructure and facilities are quite good. The department was too small. The departmental lab was also small. The instruments are too old and did not work properly. Other departments were in the same condition. The college has a canteen, and the prices are lower than outside shops.

Faculty: Our department's teachers are helpful. Our department has only 2 professors and 1 SACT teacher. All professors are highly qualified and knowledgeable, and they are responsible to their students. Microbiology students are ready for industrial criteria.

Other: I chose this course because I like research work, microscopy work, and laboratory work. My parents also told me to take microbiology. I want to be a microbiologist in the future, and I want to become a Ph.D. holder.

This college's environment is good, but the study is average.

Placements: I am a microbiology student. This department was too small. There are only 3 teachers. Other departments have the same situation, except for the Botany and Zoology departments. There was no placement system in this college. All systems are very poor. For this reason, students are not admitted to this college.

Infrastructure: My department's lab was too small and in poor condition. Boys have no hostels in this college, but girls have 4 hostels. We boys are demanding hostels. Here, the PAYING GUEST rooms are very expensive, ranging from 6.5k to 7k minimum. Middle-class students have a problem with this.

Faculty: Teachers are not helpful. They are not coming to college properly. Teachers are the worst; they are not coming to college properly. For this reason, the college's students have bad results in their examinations. The college's NAAC grade was downgraded from B+ to B.

Other: I didn't choose this college. I was chosen by the new admission system.

Very satisfied with the course provided by my college.

Placements: Around 40% of students get placed in our course. The average salary package offered is 3 LPA to 6 LPA. Students in our course get placed as teachers or professors in many colleges or schools. Around 50% of students get internships at our college. Students can pursue either a bachelor's or a master's degree in our college.

Infrastructure: The hostel is average. The quality of the hostel food is good and healthy. Many rooms are available. The infrastructure of our college is good and has good weather. The college buildings are in good condition. Classrooms are good. Labs are available for specific courses.

Faculty: Teachers at our college are helpful, good, and well-qualified. The course curriculum doesn't make students industry-ready. Exams are difficult. The pass percentage is 80%. Teachers guard students during exams. All the professors are very friendly and you can learn with fun.
