I am absolutely satisfied.
Placements: 60-65% of students are placed in my course. The highest package is 10 LPA, the lowest package is 2 LPA, and the average package offered in my course is 5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Wipro, TCS, Nestlé, and LT Foods Ltd (Dawat Price Group). 50-60% of students got internships in my course at Verka Milk Plant and various laboratories, gaining experience in quality checking. Top roles offered are Clinical Research Coordinator, Research Scientist, and Bio-Manufacturing.
Infrastructure: There is an abundance of facilities which are provided in our college. Bank book facilities are given, internships are provided and scholarships are also given to the students. There are well-established practical rooms, and all the equipment, instruments, and chemicals are available for the practical. Hostel facilities are very good. There is a big ground for sports and games. Medical facilities are excellent. Mess food is clean and nutritious.
Faculty: Teachers at the colleges are highly qualified and knowledgeable. They have an excellent grasp of their subjects. The course curriculum is relevant and it makes the student industry-ready. This course helps the student to gain practical knowledge as well as hands-on experience. Semester exams in this college are not at all difficult, one can pass these exams easily. The pass percentage is 33%.
Other: I chose this course because I have a keen interest in the research area. The best thing about this course is that it provides diverse career opportunities. One thing I would like to improve in my course is that the exams should be of a competitive nature and not so easy.

It is the best college for biotechnology with well-equipped labs in Amritsar.
Placements: The placements are not many after undergraduate courses like B.Sc. If someone wants, he/she can get internships from many companies. Top recruiting companies in college are TCS, Wipro, Capgemini etc. The highest package offered is 3.35 LPA. The average package is 2.75 LPA.
Infrastructure: Biotechnology is practical-based, so the college has well-equipped labs. It has one of the best biochemistry and microbiology labs with separate labs for plant tissue culture. Wi-Fi is unfortunately not available. A library is available 100 meters from campus. The hostel condition is not up to the mark. Rooms are in very bad condition.
Faculty: The faculty members are very supportive and encourage students to gain practical knowledge. Each semester is for 5 to 5.5 months. Each semester has two mid-term and one end-semester exams. The difficulty level of semester exams is based on what you have studied. But teachers prepare students to give their best. Overall, the pass percentage of the college is 60-70%, but in our course, it goes above 90%.
Other: The main reason for choosing this course is that it is fully based on practicality, and it is the second best course after MBBS for medical students. Things to be improved are the hostel rooms and bathrooms. The rooms are too small and not properly ventilated. There is not even a single fest organized by the college in a year. The college is situated in a market area, so there is no ground. Extracurricular activities include speech, poetry and painting competitions regularly.

It is a good college, and I am satisfied with it.
Placements: The academic percentage is not important to get placements as it depends on your skills, knowledge and determination towards your work to get placed. In our biotechnology course, we were offered researchers, scientists and laboratory worker roles. Companies like Wipro, Infotech and many more visit our college to hire skilled students.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure of our college were good. We were provided with biotechnology labs which were maintained and updated. We got a chance to explore the subject in the field of research. Everything served in canteens and in the mess was fine. We were also provided with medical facilities. Our college also provided a chance to participate in any sports and games.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college were supportive, helpful and highly qualified professionals. They put a lot of efforts to provide every study material to students and help in our studies. They make us understand particular subjects more by providing animations and videos.
Other: I opted for this course because biotechnology is the branch of life sciences, and it provides a vast knowledge about science and researches.

Dissatisfied because of faculty, poor infrastructure, no facilities for students.
Placements: Companies from various sectors come for placements such as IT, banking, communication. No. Of companies come to college for placements such as Amazon, ICICI, Concentrix, Octopus tech solutions and many others. However they do not ask for job related to our course I. e. B.Sc. biotechnology. They come to get students for jobs such as customer care executives.
Infrastructure: Students have no access to internet via Wi-fi. There are AC labs. Our labs are equipped with many machines which are used in B.Sc. biotechnology. Canteen food is good for nothing. Students mostly eat from other shops outside college campus. College is situated in city so there is lot of noise from outside making it harder to concentrate in studies. Our classrooms are built in parking building for boys being another source of disturbance.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified and knowledgeable in their respective fields. Teaching quality is not so good as teachers are given subjects to teach which they do not know either. We also cant blame the teachers for this. This is fault of higher authorities. They took us to Verka milk plant to better understand the procedure. There are many things in syllabus which were not taught to us.
Other: Many events keep happening such as INSPIRE. Extracurricular activities such as chart making, poster making, debate, declamation and much more are regularly organised.

Everything can be done but you have to take the initiative as there is no spoonfeeding.
Placements: Different companies came for placement. A lot of our seniors got jobs. The average salary is around Rs 20,000. The highest package offered was Rs. 40000. Companies like Infosys, Wipro, Amazon, etc. came. Professors themselves are carrying out research. You can join them and apart from that, they can refer you to various places for internship but you have to discuss it with them.
Infrastructure: Overall, the infrastructure is good. The labs and classrooms are good. The canteens have ACs.
The hostel rooms are okay. Food is okay as there are not many options in the canteen. The hostel food is average. The college playground is at a different location but annual sports is organized which is compulsory to attend.
Faculty: The faculty is very helpful but you have to put in your efforts at last. They can only show you the path but it is you who has to cover the distance. The use different methods so that everyone can understand the ongoing topic. Anyone can clarify their doubts anytime. Apart from that, assistants are very helpful in case you skip something.
