Review of Deen Dayal Upadhyaya College (University of Delhi).
Placements: The percentage of students placed is not really good, but from courses like CS Hons, B.Com, and BMS, there have been pretty good placements. The highest CTC was 24 LPA. All the courses provide in-depth knowledge about the subjects, and we have mid-semester exams as well as final semester exams.
Infrastructure: There are a total 3 buildings present in the college. First is the main block, i.e., the academic block; second is the utility block and last is the hostel for both boys and girls separately. Overall, the infrastructure is really good. Compared to other DU colleges, we have one of the best infrastructures.
Faculty: Faculty members are really good. All the faculty are well-educated. Teachers are good, and concepts are taught in class. Students can study really well. Everything is good.
Other: I am from CS Hons, and till now I have learnt many languages like Python, SQL, HTML, CSS, and C+.

Satisfied with the faculty, offers good placements, and has the best infrastructure.
Placements: Almost 70 to 80% of students got placed from my department. The average package is around 5 to 6 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Google and Microsoft. Around 60% of students from here get internships in EduRev. Top roles offered are software engineers.
Infrastructure: AC works so well that we can study peacefully. In labs, all computers and projectors work well. Smart TV facility is also provided. Washrooms are very clean and have proper ventilation. Canteen and mess offer clean and tasty food. We have proper medical facilities. All the equipment is in good condition in the sports room.
Faculty: Teachers are very frank and polite, and every topic becomes easy for me to understand. The course is very nice. The curriculum is relevant, and it makes students ready at the industry level. Exams are difficult, but studying as we are studying at this college, they become easy and make students score 9+ CGPA. 98% is the pass percentage.

I'm not going to say much because I just joined this year.
Placements: I am new so I don't have any information about this part honestly, but I am not expecting much because physics is already a subject that is not expected to give much placement, especially in the field we are taught about (like theoretical and experimental physics).
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is not that good (water clogs on campus a little too badly), and the stairs are broken in the college main building. Two things I can appreciate are the AC in every classroom and the library. I would rate it a bad because of poor infrastructure (I know it is bad in every DU college, no need to think about that).
Faculty: Professors are okay but the curriculum is not only hectic but also weird for first year. Not sure but I was told that they conduct too many exams, class tests, and constant assessments as well. Honestly, I hate practical classes, I'm not sure if it is because of college or I am bad at them.
Other: No matter where you come from, reaching the college is extremely risky (the main road in front is very dangerous).

College is good. No placements in my course. The research opportunities are excellent.
Placements: There are no placements in my course. As students usually prepare for higher studies, students have to look for jobs themselves outside the college, but there are ample research opportunities available to us, generally biotech and research jobs are what most students do in my course.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is great wirh, with a new building, a good library, and a computer center. Wi-Fi remains a little down. The hostel facilities are great, with clean food, AC rooms, washing machines, and monthly cleaning. The lift gets stuck sometimes, but the rest is good.
Faculty: The teachers are qualified for their roles, with everyone holding or pursuing a Ph.D. They go out of their way to teach us, and they also help us prepare for future competitive exams. They help us in research and also help us in networking, they take extra classes whenever necessary.
Other: The fests are great. There is also a memorial at the far end of our college.

Very good college, best fests and networking opportunities, great teachers.
Placements: Around 20 students get placed, and nearly all students sit for the placement process. The highest package is around 10 LPA, and the average package is around 4 LPA. Companies include banks. Internships are offered through Grove Growth and other research internships. Moderate and low-level roles are offered by the college in my course.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure facilities are among the best in DU, with i7 PCs for us to work on and a good library with all kinds of books we need. The Wi-Fi is a little rusty. The classrooms are fully air-conditioned, with mics and speakers in the big staircase classroom. Presentation facilities are also available in every classroom.
Faculty: Facilities for exams are good, with no institutional failure till now. Teachers are very good. Nearly all of them have studied in big DU colleges and are ready to help us with our academics and other initiatives. The curriculum in DU makes us ready for other big opportunities, such as an MBA.
Other: The Wi-Fi can be improved, along with the lifts.

DDUC is famous for its infrastructure, but it's really a reality check.
Placements: In my 2024 batch, approximately 150 students were there. Not very famous companies joined for placements. Most of the seniors joined MBA. The highest average package was 3 LPA. The lowest was a Rs. 4,500 stipend for a 10 month internship. Only 30% of students got internships, mostly under new start-ups. Most students tend not to have internships, and those who have them get them through personal connections.
Infrastructure: Everything is available, but maintenance is not done on time. For example, floor tiles are uneven. Students may trip and fall. Wi-Fi is not working at all. Library faculty members can be kind of rude. They have a 3-floor library and 1 ITC. This year, the canteen tender is not yet here. Amul and Nescafé work well. Canteen food is not good or safe.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful. Guest faculty members are just very average and are more or less alumni. The course makes students industry-ready. The passing criteria are 40%, as usual, and the attendance criteria are 67%. You can always rely on the permanent faculty, but the guest faculty is not at all reliable.
Other: Events are 10/10. The campus crowd is average. Connectivity is 6/10. The campus surroundings are good, with greenery. Scholarships are limited compared to others. Extracurricular activities are good and have a variety to choose from. I chose this course because I was a commerce student and did not have much to explore. One thing that can improve my course is better guest faculty, because some of them are very rude.
