DIHM college has good placement, infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: I was studied in Diploma in Food production in DIHM, and I am from the 2020-2021 batch. About 60% of the students obtained jobs from college placements. The maximum salary package offered is 50k. Top recruiting companies like Radisson, Marriott, IHG, Taj, Itc Maurya and Park Inn visit our college for placements. An internship is offered to everyone, and students who are not selected in interviews are specially allotted by the college in their affiliated hotels. A top role offered in our college is a management trainee, which is of 18 months after which the individuals will be promoted as a manager immediately.
Infrastructure: The college has many facilities. The hostel facility is available. Lifts and everything is being mended. Wi-Fi facility is available, but it is not for students. Labs and the library are great, with top-notch facilities. The food provided in a mess was made by students only for their practice. The food served was sometimes good and sometimes average as it all depends on students. Sports and extracurricular activities are given quite an attention.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are very helpful and knowledgeable. They provide a lot of practical knowledge. They follow the course curriculum thoroughly and pressure towards the practical side, which enhances the skills of the individual and their personality. They make students totally ready for the hotel industry. The theory exams are comparatively easy as it is just a common thing, but practicals are tough. The professionals are called from different hotels to take viva and give judgements. The pass percentage is 40% in theory and practical exams individually.

A:

The certificate offered at Delhi Institute of Hotel Management Lajput Nagar or DIHM is way better than Ashok Institute of Hospitality and tourism Management. This is because DIHM is a part of the National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology or NCHMCT. It is also ranked one of the top hotel and management colleges of India. It comes under the leading colleges in hotel Management in India. It is run under the government of India. Whereas, the Ashok Institute is run by a private organization.
