Review of Delhi Institute of Hotel Management and Catering Technology (DIHMCT).

Faculty: Due to the covid-19 situation, most exams have been online however no issues have been faced by the students. The exams are very well conducted. The semester exams are easy to pass if students have the proper knowledge.

It is the best college to pursue hotel management.

Faculty: Teachers here are well-qualified and knowledgeable. As you all know, it is a practical course, so skills matter a lot, so all the professors are the best in their department. The most important thing about this course is that after completing it, you will find yourself totally different from others because this industry will rinse and grind to get the best from you. The semester exams are moderate and if you listen to your classes, then it is easy to pass in all years.

It is one of the best government colleges in Delhi.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, highly qualified, and experienced in the industry. Teaching quality of teachers is excellent. The course curriculum is relevant and it will make students industry-ready especially the 17-week industrial training program. Exams are moderate and a student must secure 75% marks to be eligible for appearing in interviews.

College is very good, and teachers help and support students. Infrastructure can be improved.

Faculty: Faculty members help students in every manner. Exams are very well-planned, and proper distance is maintained between students. CCTV cameras are installed for surveillance. Overall, I am highly satisfied with the college and faculty members. Students get lunch in the college.

It is a great institute. I recommend this college for all who want a career in the hotel industry.

Faculty: Teachers in our college are very helpful and knowledgeable. They provide a lot of practical knowledge. They follow the course curriculum thoroughly and pressurise towards the practical side, which enhances the skills of the individual and their personality. They make students totally ready for the hotel industry. The theory exams are comparatively easy as it is just a common thing, but practicals are tough. The professionals are called from different hotels to take viva and give judgements. The ...

DIHM Honest opinion from an alumni.

Faculty: The teachers are really helpful and experienced. The course is well laid and organized. Exams can be tough depending upon the interests. Exams are both practical and theory. The pass percentage is 50%. We have midterm exams and final exams aa well. The syllabus is very wide.

Faculty are average, and the placements are great as it is a government college.

Faculty: The curriculum is decided by NCHMCT. The teachers are well qualified and usually have experience of the hospitality industry. The faculty are friendly, but the office staff are rude. The curriculum also provides industry exposure for around 4 months.

Our college provides good placements, and is developing its infrastructure.

Faculty: Teachers in our college are certainly qualified, but not all the teachers can communicate their lessons and knowledge to the children. The course curriculum is relevant, but there are certain things that are quite outdated. The training and the curriculum do prepare the student, but the fact is most of the students leave the industry within 5 years.

Satisfied with my experiences in this college. The course is more practical than theoretical.

Faculty: Yes the teachers are very helpful in every way and the teachers are well qualified and knowledgeable in order to teach their respective subjects. Teaching quality is good because it is done with the help of projectors which helps students to understand easily.

Faculty members are very good, and the college provides 100% placements.

Faculty: The course curriculum is good. Senior faculty members are quite experienced, and others are average. Faculty members have a vast experience of working in hotels, so they share their experiences with us, which is useful in hotel training in the second year. A practical class is conducted every day. Overall, the teaching is satisfactory.

DIHM is a paradise for students who aspire to be successful hoteliers.

Faculty: The course curriculum is lengthy. The faculty members are very helpful and have a good knowledge of their concerned subjects because the teachers who are appointed usually come from the hospitality background. The teaching quality is good. Every day a practical class is conducted for each of the four core departments so that students can develop a strong foundation. Students are also sent for industrial exposure during the initial stage of the course.

The infrastructure and facilities are good.

Faculty: The faculty in our college are highly qualified. They understand the students quite well. The course curriculum has 4 core subjects, and every semester has some additional subjects. The faculty are experienced and know what they are doing. Students have to choose their department of interest during the placements. Training of 4 months is provided during the 2nd semester.

Don't worry to get placed in any big hotel. You'll get it if you work for it.

Faculty: The lectures are quite boring as usual although teachers try to make them interesting. The teachers are highly qualified and would help you in every step towards a great career of yours. Projectors are used to teach in the classes or sometimes on the whiteboard. We all got an industry exposure as our principal sir arranged for a property tour to Crowne Plaza hotel, Mayur Vihar.
