Delhi School of Economics MA admission 2023 will be conducted through the Common Seat Allocation System Portal (CSAS PG) by Delhi University based on the Common University Entrance Test (CUET PG) scores.
Registrations for DSE MA Economics admission 2023 will begin after CUET PG result declaration of the official website –admission.uod.ac.in. As per the DU admission policy, 50% seats will be reserved for DU students, while admission to the 50% seats will be provided through CUET.
- Admission to the course is done on the basis of the candidate's performance in the past qualifying exam and entrance exam.
- Only the candidates who have qualified the entrance exam are eligible to apply for Merit seats.
- The entrance exam will contain objective type questions and there will be negative marking for wrong answers.
- The exam will evaluate candidates on the basis of microeconomic theory, macroeconomic theory, mathematical techniques and probability, statistics & elementary econometrics
- Students applying for MA Economics should score 40% (General Category), 36% (OBC) and 20% (SC/ST) in the entrance exam to qualify
- Separate merit lists will be put up for the reserved and general categories to be admitted through the Entrance Test and through Direct Admissions.
- The admission of students to the course will be provisional and will be confirmed by the Admission Committee of the University only after verification of the original certificates.
DSE offers admission to the MBA in International Business and Business Analytics based on the overall and the sectional CAT cutoff. In 2024, the overall CAT cutoff percentile was 85 among the students belonging to the OBC category in the AII India quota. Candidates seeking admission to the Delhi School of Economics must have a valid score in the CAT exam in order to be eligible for the further round of admissions.
