Review of Department of Management Sciences, Pune University (PUMBA).

Placements: This course has a low placement percentage, and the lucky ones get the chance to get internships at reputed organisations. I got to work as an intern at Sayaji Hotels. In the final semester, the institute provides us with a chance to intern at various institutions, after which the student can apply for jobs.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is old. The campus is huge. The college offers various courses. The classrooms are medium-big size with adequate ventilation. The quality of hostel facilities and food in the canteen is not good. I resided in the hostel initially but moved back home due to the pandemic.

Faculty: The teachers are well educated and up to date with all the topics. All the teachers are well versed with the method of using and working with online mode of education. Even the older staff were easily and happily conducting the zoom meetings. Compared to other colleges, our college provided reminders for projects and assignments.

Other: SPPU is a reputed institution with a good history, so getting admission here is good. The institute conducts various activities and events throughout the year. The living conditions of students in the hostel can be improved.

I was very much satisfied with our college, and it was like a second home to me or all of us.

Placements: The top role offered was a managing director in a reputed company. Nearly 30% of students got internships in various companies. Some students got internships in small companies, while some got in large-scale companies. Nearly 35% to 40% of students were placed, along with me. We were like family members.

Infrastructure: The hostel was nice and clean and are spacious for students. The hostel was built like a home to offer comfort to students, and the food served was good and not like other hostels. So, I enjoyed my stay in a hostel, and we had a kind of relationship with hostel staff members and students. The hostel was my second home.

Faculty: Teachers were very much experienced, and they helped students when it was needed. There were some exams we had to attend to get ready to face any challenges. Semester exams were like a sudden break for all of us after the kind of enjoyment we had in our non-study time.

Other: I have had an interest in business study since my childhood, and I wanted to become a businessman. So, I chose this course.

Yes,but you need to have min yrs of work exp to get admission for executive mba and you have to clear departmental entrance test

Executive MBA is meant for professionals who wish to continue working with their current organisations or the organizations which had given them a break to complete MBA and return back again as a full time employee. So, there is no campus hiring process for Executive MBA.

Hello Vedanti, I am sorry to say but your score is very low to get admission in PUMBA. I'll suggest you to try other good colleges like Symbiosis, MIT-SOM as other options.
