Genuine review of Dev Bhoomi Uttarakhand University.
Placements: In 2023, 80% of students were placed. The highest average salary package was 5 lakh. Companies that participated in the placement drive included Accenture, Wipro, Daffodil, Deloitte, JK Tyres, and Paytm. The course offers a variety of roles, including those that develop communication skills and editing skills.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good, with well-equipped labs and a good library. The library is a great place to study in a peaceful environment. All the facilities are polite and friendly, and they are always ready to help whenever and wherever needed.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching methods and qualities are superb. This course prepares students for the industries. The exams are not too difficult or too easy; they are moderate.

Satisfied with the faculty and surroundings. Worth it.
Placements: Around 70% of students were placed in the course, with the maximum package being 1 lakh, the average at 60,000, and the minimum at 30,000. The placements are mainly with print companies. About 78% of students received internships and were placed at Amazon, Google, and other well-known companies.
Infrastructure: The Wi-Fi facilities are nice, and classrooms are pretty decent. The library has all the necessary books. I am a daily scholar, but in my knowledge, the mess and hostel facilities are fine. Medical facilities are also pretty decent. Sports and games are organized throughout the year for each category.
Faculty: Teachers are very friendly and supportive. They always provide us with extra knowledge so we don't miss out on new developments. All the curricular activities prepare us for upcoming challenges. The exams were not too tough, and the passing percentage was 100%.
Other: Literature has always been a field of knowledge and fun, which is why I chose this course. However, it should include more contemporary works. The college is full of events and activities and ensures full participation from students. Scholarships are provided in the form of concessions for further encouragement.

The university is average with great ambience.
Placements: Around 30-40% of students from our senior batch got placed last year. The highest package offered in our course is 7 LPA, and the lowest package ranges from 3-3.5 LPA. The average package offered in our course ranges from 4-5 LPA. The top recruiting companies in our course are Wipro, Accenture, and Skillinabox. Almost 70-80% of students got internships from our course in media organisations like Netra News, Khabar House, and HNN. The top roles offered in our course are content writers, anchors, news reporters, video editors, and cinematographers.
Infrastructure: Facilities offered in our university for our course are a media lab, a photography lab, a library, smart classrooms, a freshwater cooler on every floor, a generator, and Wi-Fi facilities. The quality of facilities available in our hostel, like food availability in the mess and canteen, medical facilities, sports, and games, is average.
Faculty: Teachers are quite helpful, very qualified, and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is quite good too. The course curriculum is relevant. It also makes students industry-ready due to everyday practical and theoretical classes. Semester exams are not that difficult. The pass percentage is around 60-65%.
Other: I chose this course because I am fascinated by the news anchors on TV, so I decided to do the same. Things I wish would be better about our course are the equipment availability in our media lab. The university should conduct more events related to our course. Very few events are conducted. The campus crowd and the connectivity are also moderate. The campus surroundings are good as the university is surrounded by beautiful mountains and greenery. Scholarship programs are great, and not much importance is given to extracurricular activities.

The college is definitely worth the money.
Placements: Generally, most colleges do not have placements for a bachelor's programme in English . You need to move ahead with a master's degree to get placed. But it is totally your choice if you want to freelance at different sites. For English, we don't have placements but if you want to pursue journalism, then yes, the highest package goes around for like 12 lacs.
Infrastructure: We have a spacious library with books for different courses. The classrooms are big and well-ventilated. The building for our department is new and has nice infrastructure. I'm a day scholar, so I do not have much idea about the hostel facilities but my colleagues have fairly reviewed the hostel. It is good and all the necessary facilities are provided at first.
Faculty: The best thing about this course is that we've got the best faculty members among all the other courses. They are very helpful and dedicated to their work. They frequently keep on guiding us and we can reach out to them at anytime in case of any kind of problem or issue. Yes, the curriculum of our course matches 80% of the curriculum of Delhi University. It is designed with a keen outlook to make the student industry ready for the future. The semester exams are not very difficult if you've paid attention during the lectures. One can easily get an average of 8–9 CGPA if they've studied well.
Other: Fests are organized on a regular basis to keep the students engaged in co-curricular activities along with academics. An annual fest called 'Pinak' is organized every year, which stretches for about a week and several celebrities and other respectable entities are invited to the fest.

Our college provides quality education at an affordable fee.
Placements: Every student must have a minimum of 75% or above attendance in academics and 80% or above in training classes every semester in every subject and co-curricular programs. It is one of the best engineering colleges in Dehradun, which offers high standard academic excellence and a 75% placement rate every year. It is approved by AICTE, i.e., All India Council for Technical Education.
Infrastructure: DBIT is a better college because it provides good quality education at an affordable fee. The campus is beautiful and surrounded by nature. The quality of food served to the hostel students is good. Cafeteria and canteen are also available here.
Faculty: The faculty members are well-qualified, very helpful and well-trained. The course curriculum is relevant. Teachers focus on developing students' skills. Faculty members provide a very healthy and supportive environment for studies by developing both practical and theoretical knowledge.

Good college and provides great facilities and education.
Placements: Placements: Students in our course should score about 65% in academics to get placed. Around 75% of the students get placed every year. The highest salary package offered was 40 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 3 LPA. Top recruiting companies for our course that come for campus placement are TCS, Infosys, Capgemini, Cognizant, Daffodils, Jaro, etc.
Infrastructure: Our college has a beautiful infrastructure surrounded by nature. Quality of food served to the hostel students is good. Cafeteria and canteen is available here. Our college provides good medical facilities, including an Ayurveda hospital.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are very friendly. Their teaching quality is very good. They are supportive and highly educated. They provide you with the most healthy environment for studies. Faculty members mostly focus on developing your skills and make you best for what you want to achieve.
Other: Dev ghoomi group of institutions is the best place to shape up your future. Our college provides a beautiful environment to express your ideas and to improve your skills. Our college is surrounded by nature which helps to concentrate, and it is also helpful to stay away from pollution. Our college organises many sports event, annual fests, etc.
