Good faculty and placements.
Placements: Around 85% of students are placed. The highest package is 12 LPA, the lowest 3 LPA, and the average is 5 LPA. Top recruiters include TCS, Infosys, Wipro, and Zoho. Nearly 80% of students get internships in TCS, CTS, and startups. Roles offered include Developer, Analyst, and Tester.
Infrastructure: The college offers smart classrooms, high-speed Wi-Fi, modern labs, and a well-stocked library. Hostel rooms are clean with 24/7 water and power. Mess food is decent and hygienic. Medical care is available, and there are good sports and gym facilities too.
Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified, helpful, and knowledgeable. The curriculum is industry-relevant with a practical focus. Semester exams are moderately difficult. With proper preparation, students can pass easily. The overall pass percentage is around 85-90%.
Other: I am part of the B.E. Computer Science and Engineering batch. I chose this course because of my passion for technology and coding. The best parts are practical labs, supportive faculty, and good placement support. I wish the syllabus includes more current industry tools like AI and DevOps. The campus hosts tech fests and cultural events regularly. Students from various departments actively participate. The campus is well-connected by transport. The surroundings are calm and green. Scholarships are available for meritorious and economically weaker students. Extracurricular activities like sports, NSS, and clubs are encouraged.

College has good facilities provided, such as food, infrastructure, study labs, and a library.
Placements: 100% placed for students, but core students were not placed. The highest package offered was 3.5LPA, the lowest package offered was 1.8LPA by TCS only, .50% students only, and TCS company only developing side offered.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure was very super. My college had many more trees, a great ambiance for nature, and my classrooms also had very good labs and library facilities available. Wi-Fi was not available at the hostel side, but the food was normal, sports and games facilities were available, and its very memorable for my college.
Faculty: Teachers were qualified persons, and they would help with education issues and personally care for poor students. Its very helpful for staff course choosing, only my decision, so its clear to choose the course, and semester exam was no problem for passing, the staff were helpful to guide, I really miss my college life. Its otherwise friendly environment, so nice college staff were also very helpful for study related doubts, which he would clear at the time.
Other: I chose B.E. ECE, the department scope currently in, so our choice for department choosing, but you should gain the knowledge in your department related. Its only for your next career line to grow, and extracurricular activities in college will be supported, and staff also support, so no problem, its a environment friendly.

Best days and friendships in my life.
Placements: Placements and student development. The college provides good placement opportunities for students across different branches. On average, around 75 to 80% of students get placed every year, with some departments achieving even higher placement rates. The highest package offered in recent years is about 8 to 10 LPA, while the lowest package ranges between 2.5 to 3 LPA, and the average package stood around 4 to 5 LPA, which is fairly good for a Tier 2 engineering college.
Infrastructure: Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan Engineering College offers good infrastructure with Wi-Fi, well equipped labs, spacious classrooms, and a large library. Hostels are decent with medical care, sports facilities, and average food in the mess and canteen. The best sports teams in this college.
Faculty: Teachers are supportive, qualified, and deliver good teaching quality. The curriculum is relevant and helps students gain industry ready skills. Semester exams are moderately difficult, and the overall pass percentage is usually above 80% to 85%. Best in my life.
Other: The best college in my life.

About ok academic environment.
Placements: In ECE, around 85-95% students are placed. The highest package is 12 LPA, average is 4 LPA, and median is 2.05 LPA. Top recruiters included MRF, Airtel, Reliance Digital, Came, and Kido. Nearly 80-90% secured internships with roles like design engineer, R&D engineer, and technical trainee.
Infrastructure: ECE department has well-equipped labs, smart classrooms, Wi-Fi, and a library with digital resources. Hostels provide spacious rooms, clean environment, good mess food, canteen, medical care, and facilities for sports and games, ensuring overall student comfort.
Faculty: ECE faculty members are knowledgeable, supportive, and ensure quality teaching through theory and practical sessions. The curriculum is industry-relevant with core and elective subjects. Exams are of moderate difficulty with good pass percentage above 85-90%.
Other: I chose ECE because of my interest in electronics and communication. The course offers strong practical learning with labs, projects, and events like fests and symposiums. More industry tie-ups and research exposure would make it even better for students.

Review of Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan Engineering College - DSEC.
Placements: Our college conducts drives and places students in 90-150 companies, but in the role of BDA. Companies from Chennai, Bangalore, Pondicherry, like Acadamore, Rinex, VIT, etc., visit the college to hire students. Companies provide a stipend that ranges from Rs. 15,000-18,000 for a 6-month internship. The package offered ranges from 3-12 LPA.
Infrastructure: Our college provides good facilities like libraries, smart classrooms, and labs. It provides 3 types of food like Kerala style food, Tamil Nadu style food, and Andhra Pradesh style food. The food sometimes really tastes well and sometimes waste. It provides biriyani every Sunday, and also provides ice cream weekly. For breakfast, we get a dosa, idli, chappathi, idiyappam, puttu, and lunch will be priced with the same or dal. At dinner, we get chappathi, parotta, ghee, etc.
Faculty: Most of the faculty members are helpful and qualified. They will provide the important questions that will definitely come in exams. The pass percentage is 45%.
Other: The thing I like most is a cultural festival named Nakshatra, it's a 3-day function where we can see famous celebrities, and also it includes an adventure park, street foods, etc. One of the things I don't like is that we are not allowed to go out, order food, etc. Xerox shop, canteen, and medical facilities are available inside the campus compound. The thing I don't like is that they will inform us 1 day and maybe the same day for holidays, so booking tickets for the train or bus will be difficult. They will send us home for a 2-day leave, and also said that if we are not here after 2 days. Sometimes, they will not allow us to stay at the hostel for a 2-day leave (except Andhra students). This will be difficult for us to travel for 2 days.

Decent college with supportive faculty, good infrastructure & growing placement opportunities.
Placements: The college is making visible efforts to improve opportunities for students. From my observations and seniors' experiences, around 60%-70% of students from the IT and CSE departments get placed every year. The highest package is around 6 LPA-7 LPA. The average package is around 3 LPA-3.5 LPA. The lowest package is around 2.4 LPA. Top recruiters for our college include TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, Wipro, HCL, Zoho, Capgemini, and some startups. About 50%-60% of students from IT and CSE got internships. Popular internship providers include TCS iON, Internshala-listed startups, Earth5R, To Let Global, and more. Top roles offered are software developer, web developer, associate engineer, technical support engineer, data analyst (in rare cases), and trainee in IT services.
Infrastructure: The IT department has good labs, Wi-Fi, and spacious classrooms. The library is well-stocked and quiet. Hostel rooms are average, mess food is decent, and the canteen offers basic snacks. Medical aid is available on campus. Sports facilities include a big ground and courts for various games.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and qualified, and teaching quality is good overall. The IT curriculum is relevant but needs extra effort for industry readiness. Semester exams are moderate, and the pass rate is around 85%-90%. Decent college with supportive faculty, good infrastructure & growing placement opportunities.
Other: I got this college through counselling and chose IT because I'm interested in coding and technology. The course offers good lab exposure and helpful faculty. More industry-based training and real-time projects would make it better. The campus is peaceful with regular events, friendly crowd, and support for scholarships and extracurricular activities. Connectivity is limited but manageable.
