Review of Dhole Patil College of Engineering.
Placements: 40 to 80% of students are placed in this college, and the lowest package is 26 LPA. Every percent of students got internships. I don't know about the top recruiting companies, but there are so many projects held in the college for designing a car and designing an engine at the state level. Roles such as design engineer are also available.
Infrastructure: There are so many facilities like Wi-Fi, hostels for girls and boys, a canteen, and every type of game like football, basketball, cricket, badminton, tennis, and archery. There are libraries, classrooms, restrooms, and medical facilities also. Food is rated 8/10, hostel is rated 9/10, and other facilities are rated 10/10.
Faculty: Teachers are well-educated and have good social knowledge, communication skills, and a good sense of dressing. The curriculum makes the students industry-ready because there are so many projects held in the college and many extra activities like making car designs and engine designs, which are very exciting for the students. There are also industry visits every 6 months.
Other: BE in Automobile is my course, and it's better if you want to be a designer or an automotive engineer. This college is so good that it feels like home, with everything in this college, like a hostel, games, and more.

Collectively, I can say that this college is the best in academics, infrastructure, placements, etc.
Placements: Nearby, 100% students are placed. The highest package is 14 LPA, the average package is 3 - 4.5 LPA, and the lowest package is 2.5 LPA. Wipro, Infotech, Accenture, etc., recruit. Internships via the Internshala platform in new start-ups and also in big companies to 70 - 80% students.
Infrastructure: Well-equipped labs, digital classrooms equipped with digital screens, libraries continuing the previous year's question papers, research papers, etc., are available for the Computer Engineering department. Mess and canteen make a variety of food available for students every day. Dhole Patil College of Engineering have quality infrastructure, fully developed medical facilities, and large grounds for sports and events.
Faculty: Teaching quality is excellent, and the teaching staff is experienced and very helpful to the students. This course contains programming languages like C, C++, Java, Python, SQL, etc., which makes students industry-ready. The pass percentage in this college is 98.87%. Semester exams are moderate, some students find them difficult, but for some students, they get them cleared easily.
Other: I always loved technical things, and I wanted to pursue my career in the technical branch, so I chose the Computer Engineering branch. College gives the best guidance, training for placements and conducts different workshops regularly to give students hands-on experience about different things.

Placements are not good, but we can develop our skills here and get an off-campus placement.
Placements: I think this college is not the best, but it is better. The percentage of students who got placed is around 40 percent. The highest package is around 10 LPA. Companies like TCS, etc., hire students for internships. The college is the best. In this college, we can do internships from the 1st year.
Infrastructure: Rooms in this college are good, and the other things are also, so I want to give 5 stars to these things in college. When I came to this college for the first time, the food in the mess was too good. I thought that I was new, so I loved it. However, over the last three months, I did not find any difference in the quality of the taste.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful. They have vast knowledge, but some physics faculty members are not good at teaching. I don't know if they have low knowledge or if they don't know how to teach. College timing and other things are very relevant. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes students industry-ready. I have not given semester exams yet.
Other: I had an interest in PC from my childhood. When my father's PC stopped working, he went to repair it, and then I also went and learned about PC, so my interest in this field increased. In this college, we can get many clubs to develop our skills, and we can open our own club. All the funding was provided by the college.

    I am dissatisfied with placements.
Placements: Placements are below average here. Packages are around 1.8 to 4 LPA, and only around 5-10% get placed in an average company. Placements are a joke in this college. Most of students seek off-campus placements over here. The college doesn't give it much priority. This college has very poor placements. Most of placements are from average companies, and packages are below average. Only 5-10% of students get placed here with below-average packages. Getting a good package from campus drive is very rare here.
Faculty: Teachers are average based on their knowledge, and teaching quality isn't that good. The curriculum is old and isn't relevant in today's market. There's no program to make students industry-ready. The semester exams are pretty difficult too, with a 50-60% passing.
Other: My course has a wide range of applications in the software and hardware industries. I wish I had chosen a better college for this course. This college has no college life or crowd and no placements.

It has decent infrastructure and facilities. It should provide better placements.
Placements: I graduated in 2024 from the Electronics and Telecommunication Department at Dhole Patil College of Engineering. Around 60% of students from my course got placed. The highest package is 6 LPA, the lowest is 2 LPA, and the average package is 3 LPA. Major recruiters included IT and electronics. The top role offered is senior executive.
Infrastructure: The campus has Wi-Fi, but connectivity may vary across different areas. It has spacious classrooms with projectors and proper seating arrangements. There is a well-stocked library with textbooks, reference books, and journals related to electronics and telecommunication engineering. Hostel rooms are decent, with basic amenities like beds, tables, and cupboards. Maintenance can be improved. The college has grounds for cricket, football, and volleyball, along with indoor games like table tennis and chess.
Faculty: Teachers are knowledgeable and qualified, with many holding postgraduate degrees. The teaching quality is decent, with a mix of theory and practical knowledge. The course curriculum covers core electronics and communication topics, including VLSI, embedded systems, and networking. Semester exams are moderately difficult, and they are mostly based on university guidelines.
Other: I am from the 2024 batch, Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering, Dhole Patil College of Engineering. I am interested in electronics, communication, IoT, and embedded systems. It offers diverse career opportunities in telecom, IT, and automation. It provides opportunities for projects and competitions. It should provide more industry-focused projects. It is well-connected to the city with nearby shops and cafes. Scholarships are available for merit and reserved category students.
