The faculty members and staff are so kind and supportive.

Placements: From 7 th semester students become eligible, for campus placements. Companies like Mahendra Teach, HCL solutions, Wipro, Sterlings and various companies visited and had more than 3 to 4 offers at that time. At that time companies like wipro and Teach companies offered around and 2 Lacs averagely and upto 3 Lacs the highest paid packages. Approximately we had More than 70% of students placed through placement. I had innovative of ideas had got high package after completion of my Degree at that time.

Infrastructure: I opted for hostel. The hostel infrastructure is not good enough. There are total 3 students in a room the room space was very small. The bathrooms were also not good. The warden and other hostel facilities are very rude. External Expenses : More Than Rs.15000.

Faculty: I chose this course because of the love and interest that I have in the business and commercial fields. They had a huge faculty circle for all departments, and the faculty-student ratio was around 10:2. The faculty members are well trained and educated in their own fields, they are so kind and humble to each and every student. The method of teaching is so excellent and attractive, that was helped me to learn more. They conducted so many tests and exams in a very often period, that it was very useful to train ourselves for the boards.

This college is a place to study and clear all subjects without any distractions.

Placements: Placements in the college were not as good as expected or as promised. Few companies visited for placement drives, but mostly roles in HR consultancies were offered. The placement officer put efforts to place only the students who were familiar to him. There is no coordination between the placement officer and HOD. There were no attempts to improve the placements.

Infrastructure: Labs and library are good. Wi-Fi facility is not available. The canteen provided good food. The hostel was good enough for survival but didn't have many facilities. Sports were encouraged here. The floor used to crack open suddenly due to the heat. Seats were very normal. Medical facilities are provided but are not very effective.

Faculty: The teaching quality of the faculty was good here. IVs were informative. Projects were the only interesting part here, while the rest of the factors were only normal. I hate maths. Accounting subjects were beneficial. I got recognition because of the marks I scored in accountancy. Teachers were very helpful.

Other: Scholarships are available. The campus was colourful, and there was only one extracurricular activity.

Dissatisfied because of the management and placements in 2016. Good infrastructure.

Placements: The placements are not good as compared to the 2015 batch. 40% of the students were selected through the campus placement. Rs. 18,000 is the highest salary offered. IDBI, Axis and HDFC bank visited the campus and the role offered was that of a business developer. 60% of the students got an internship in small companies. Rs. 2000 was offered as the stipend.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi was available for free and the speed was okay. The labs are average but the food is not good. The classrooms are good. We can borrow a number of books from the library. Sports facilities are good. Overall the infrastructure is good.

Faculty: The faculty members are knowledgeable and they are very interactive. They encourage us all the time. The teaching method was different from the other colleges. Overall, the faculty was good but the management was not good.

Other: DMI College of Engineering works just like any other Engineering College in TN. Faculty in DMI are both experienced and few fresh ME grad's. Placement was out of the question when we passed out (2009). They had this IT recession as an excuse to keep placement out of our curriculum (Placement training was given but very minimal placement assistance was there). I am not sure about the placements right now. But as I am working as an HR in a corporate company, DMI College is still not in our list of colleges for Campus hiring. Infrastructure is not that impressive, they have everything, but the standard when compared to other colleges in town is way low.
