It provides good placements for ISE and CSE other than that the rest of the other branches have no sort of help at all.

I am satisfied with the college. Placements are fine.
Placements: Last year, the highest package for 80% of the students was around 45 lakhs per annum, with top recruiting companies like Accenture, IBM, and others participating in the placement process. Students secured internships in reputable companies based on their interests. The lowest average package offered was approximately 3 lakhs per annum.
Infrastructure: Good and satisfied with the faculty, labs, classroom, library, etc. All facilities are well structured and satisfying. The canteen and hostel facilities are good. The college conducts cultural activities like sports, games, etc. Everything is going very well.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful. Semester exam seemed easy we could pass easily with the help of teachers guidance. The course is curriculum-related and relevant and it makes students ready. Industry-purpose teachers seem very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable quality of teaching is good.
Other: I opted for this course because it is good to learn more about software development.

I am disappointed with the placements.
Placements: The number of students placed in our whole college is below 100 out of few thousand students. In our course, there might be below 15 members who get placed including internships. The highest package is 11 LPA cracked by only one student from our batch. The lowest salary is 2.5 LPA, and the average salary is 3.5 LPA - 4 LPA. Top companies for our course are Maximus and Infosys. Only 1-2 students got internships at IBM company. The top roles offered are SDE roles.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure available is classrooms with chalk and board, labs, and library. But there is no Wi-Fi facility. The hostel infrastructure is good when it is 3-sharing. But now they are offering 4-sharing which is quite congested. The food is not bad. Sports and games facilities are provided only for boys, not for girls. Girls are restricted in the evening.
Faculty: Teachers are all freshers and they do not provide proper knowledge. The teaching quality is very poor for our batch. The curriculum is as per VTU, it has all the basic knowledge of every domain in its syllabus. It is not that difficult you can pass the exam easily with a proper understanding of the subject. The pass percentage is about 80%.
Other: I chose this course because of the good packages the company provides. The only best thing is that you will have basic knowledge of every subject. They should focus on industry-ready domains. The only scholarship I heard is SSP. The event is conducted every year for 2-days. The campus crowd and connectivity are poor. They conduct extracurricular activities yearly once.

DBIT - It is a good college.
Placements: The placements provided by this college are pretty good and promising. Although you do not get to be placed in big companies like Google and ITC. The college brings you great choices of companies but not the best so if you want a decent job, then okay.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is pretty much good. The campus is pretty much clean and big. Hostels are decent here at the college. The food is good but not great. The canteen is good although they do not offer you anything different every other day that's it.
Faculty: Teachers are pretty helpful from the start. They are quite knowledgeable and they are really qualified. Semester exams are pretty much easy and teachers will definitely help you to do well in the exams. So do not worry about the exams and staff. Teachers are helpful and they teach well. You can understand just fine. But some of them are pretty strict and they do not take jokes well.
Other: I hope they upgrade their ideas while doing fests and deliver good for the students.

Good college with a good environment.
Placements: ISE is the best branch, but all the other branches are also good. The placement opportunities are strong, with the highest package reaching 27 LPA and the average packages ranging between 4-8 LPA. Reputable companies like Infosys, TCS, and Upgrade visit our college for recruitment. Internships are provided, including opportunities at companies like Samsung.
Infrastructure: The college offers excellent facilities for its students. It has a well-stocked library with a wide range of quality books. Free Wi-Fi is available in the hostel, which also features a study room. The mess provides clean and nutritious food. Additionally, there are great sports facilities, including a large cricket ground, volleyball court, and basketball court. A gym is also available for students to use.
Faculty: Faculty members are knowledgeable and supportive. The teaching quality is good. The curriculum is well structured providing both practical and theoretical experience. Exams are fair but challenging, testing the student's potential. They help the students to understand the concept.
Other: ISE is the best branch. The college has good faculty members and environment.

It is a good college for students who have an average rank in KCET.
Placements: The percentage of students getting placed in our college is around 30%. The highest package in our college is 38 LPA and the lowest package ranges from 3-4 LPA. Companies that visit our college to recruit students are Infosys, Microsoft, Google, Godrej, LG, HP, etc. Many students get internships in our college.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very good. We have a good water supply for each floor which may be for drinking, washing, etc. There is a common room for both boys and girls. The library is very huge with a wide variety of books other than engineering topics like magazines, journals, newspapers, etc. In our college, we also have a software library where we can get online information.
Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified to teach us. They teach us in a friendly way. We can ask any questions and ought to them related to topics. During college hours, they are available anytime during off hours we can call them. Exams are very difficult and we should read subjects in depth.
Other: I was unable to choose whether to go for the software or hardware fields so I thought ECE is the best choice, which has both options where I can experience both fields and can choose according to the experience. I just want to get more information on the basics of the ECE topic. I came from a Biology background so I got a little difficult to understand the topic related to ECE.

Unfiltered insights of DBIT.
Placements: I would say that the placements in college are average. The highest package usually ranges from 8 LPA to 9 LPA. Only 5% of students got placed out of all students in the batch. Many seniors are planning for off-campus placements. Top recruiting companies include Infosys, Wipro, Capgemini, etc.
Infrastructure: There's a common library for all students from all the branches. Library is pretty good with the collection of books except for the staff who work there. Campus does not have Wi-Fi. I do not stay in the hostel so I can't comment much about it. I've heard that hostel is good, especially the food. Classrooms are kind of old. The food in the canteen is better than cafeteria. The food prepared in canteen is fresh. We have a sports room.
Faculty: Teachers of Department of Computer Science and Engineering are well-educated and qualified. The teaching faculty members are very helpful and can be approachable. Students give an insight about how this industry works before getting into the branch. Semester exams are conducted which are not very difficult to answer. Pass percentage is above 85%.
Other: The batch that I'm currently in is 2023-27. The reason for choosing the course is the passion for coding. I've always been interested in learning new code. The opportunities provided are the best thing about the course. The things I wish to improve about the course are guest lectures and industry interactions should be introduced and more hands-on learning would be really helpful. College conducts tech fests while we're in even seems. Cultural fests like Vismay are fun.
