My journey in Dr. G. Y. Pathrikar college.
Placements: 70% of students got placed in senior batch as data analyst, data engineers, etc. The highest package is 7 LPA and the average package is 4 to 5 LPA. The minimum package is 3.4 LPA. There are 100% internships with good companies. The top companies that visited the campus were Wipro, TCS, Infosys, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure provided by college is good; it has Wi-Fi throughout the campus. The classroom is also good. Almost every classroom has projectors. The library is not good for focused study because it only has plain tables and chairs, so that is one disadvantage.
A drinking water filter is available but not working. A gym is also available for free at the university.
Faculty: The main subject teachers are good and well experienced but the other subject teachers like practices and others are not as good or do not have enough teaching ideas. Recently, I completed my first year so my first-year curriculum is based on a real-data science foundation. In the first semester, the curriculum is the whole introductory art of data science. Practices are not good because they don't have a connection between theory and practice.
Other: I chose this course because I want to complete my Ph.D. in data science, so first I need to complete the Masters so that's why I chose this course. This course is 5 years, which is B.Sc. + M.Sc. 3 years of B.Sc. And 2 Years of M.Sc. The improvement needs to be in the library and the water filter and there is a need to change few teachers of practical.
Scholarships are not available. MGM CET is also available for higher chances to get a seat in this college You can check the date on official website of MGM, U.A.C.

Really good infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: 30-40% of students were placed in our course. The highest to the lowest package offered in our course was 5-6 Lacs. Infosys, TCS, Wipro, etc. Are the companies for recruiting for our course.
50-60% of the students got internship from the course. Data Analyst was the role offered.
Infrastructure: There are labs, libraries, and classrooms to study for different departments. There is Wi-Fi for students to study online. There are all facilities in hostel, good quality of food in canteen, have sports curriculum for students to participate in different activities.
Faculty: The teachers are well qualified and knowledgeable and really helpful for the students. Teaching quality is above average. Yes, this course curriculum is relevant. They make the students ready for the industry through Pre-placement talk. Not that difficult.

Campus is good and teaching is also good but not that much of value for money.
Placements: There are 150+ student in this course and the starting lowest package is about 3 Lacs and the highest is about 4-5 Lacs and companies like Wipro and other comes for recruiting and not all student were selected for companies only few of them get that job.
Infrastructure: The wi-fi is only for staff and not for student and labs are fine but not computer they have. They have some older computer. Classrooms and library are very net and clean. I am not in hostel but there is canteen in college serves decent food and not that much of interest in sports
.
Faculty: The teaching staff of the college is very intelligent and clever and very humble. They are nice to all. The exam is very easy if students studied perfectly and if studied perfectly then it is bit harder. The theory exam is 60 marks exam and 24 marks for passing.
Other: The only thing is to host events in college and connectivity and should give scholarships.

The placement rate is increasing year by year.
Placements: Almost 40% to 45% of the students get placed every year from our college. In our course, the lowest salary package offered is 3 LPA, and salary packages depend on your skills. TCS, Capgemini, Infosys, Symbiosis, Bajaj, Sansui and Wipro are the companies which visit our campus for placements. Around 60% to 70% of the students are doing internships.
Infrastructure: Our campus is huge, and all facilities are provided in our college. Our college has a very clean and neat area. Our college properly uses all the resources and has an eco-friendly environment which can attract every student. For students, various sports activities are conducted.
Faculty: Faculty members here are very helpful and well qualified. They all are very friendly to all students. Almost all teachers are PhD holders, and they teach as per the course as well as things other than the course curriculum.
Other: I chose this course because the upcoming generation is highly dependent on digital technology.

It is good for getting a degree and also for some enjoyment, but placements are not offered.
Placements: Roles offered in the course included Python, Java, PHP developer, and cloud computing-related roles. Extra courses were also available, but only 10% of students were placed, mostly through off-campus placements. Internships were not provided. They only announced internships in the last semester.
Infrastructure: Facilities were good, but the fees and other costs were higher than expected. You could get admission only if you wanted a degree, nothing more than that. Sports and games were available, and some tournaments were held. You could play volleyball and cricket every day.
Faculty: Some teachers were very good, while others did not take the syllabus seriously. They did not complete all the lectures or the syllabus. Some teachers were very knowledgeable and interested. But others only conducted lectures because they were assigned or paid to do so.
