Dr. N.G.P. Arts and Science College Scholarships and Funding

The Management is benevolent in providing various scholarships to students like Meritorious in Academics and Sports, Wards of college employees, Siblings of students, Alumni, Children of Ex-servicemen, and Children of employees of group concern. The scholarship supports the College term fee, Stay, and Food in the hostel for outstation students. Every year more than 1000 students are availing these scholarships and motivates them to excel further in their careers.

Academic Merits:
While students seek admission to the College, their academic merits in the school examination are taken into consideration, and based on merits they are given a Scholarship/concession in the Tuition fee throughout the program. It encourages the socially and economically weaker section of people to pursue their higher education.

Meritorious in Sports and Games:
The students who excelled in sports and games during their school life are identified and they are supported through various scholarships/ full or partial concession in the Tuition fee, Stay, and food in the college hostels based on their achievements. Every year more than 100s of students benefit from this support.

Children of Employees of the College and Group Institutions:
The Scholarships / Concessions are extended to the sons/daughters of employees working in the College as well as group concerns. This practice gives recognition to their service and encourages them to do better in their service.

Alumni to pursue Postgraduate Programmes:
Alumni of the Dr. NGPASC are given special concessions in the College fee to pursue Postgraduate programs in our College. Further, the meritorious alumni are given special scholarships.

Children of Ex-Servicemen:
The service of Ex-Servicemen in the defense services are recognized by giving scholarships to their children.

College is 7 out of 10, but everything has its own pros and cons, so you’ve to learn how to survive.

Placements: My college students are so kind and supportive of us, sharing their experiences on placements with us. Many people are getting placements happily. 80-90 percent of students were placed. TCS, Zoho, and Cognizant are the top recruiting companies for our course.

The college provides importance on conceptual learning.

Placements: MedReps and Nomad Health are some of the specialized health centers. Institutions are the main recruiters for students from the department of medical physics. Some organizations also recruit to find suitable candidates with good pay. The lowest pay offered is 3.2 lacs per year.

It is the best college.

Placements: 90% of students get placed in my college. The highest package is 12 LPA and the average package is 4 LPA. Top recruiting companies for our course are Amazon, IBM, Cognizant, Tata Consultancy Services, Wipro, TCL, etc. Many students got internships in top product companies. Roles like software developer, human resource development, HR, etc.

The infrastructure is so good, and there are labs and sports training.

Placements: In my department, more than 100 students were placed in campus interviews. The teachers train the students to secure placements on campus. For example, they teach us proper English and communication skills, with 30-40 thousand most of students securing internships in startup companies, as HR, finance executives, and business executives.

Absolutely recommended for career-centric students.

Placements: About 90% of students got placed. The highest package offered is 5 LPA. The lowest package offered is 2.5 LPA. Top recruiters are Infosys, Accenture, and Wipro. About 100% of students got internship offers. It is mostly from research institutes like Sitra, CSIR, ICAR, and Sacon. Roles offered are laboratory assistant, medical code, associate analyst, patent filer, and so on.

Placements: 90% of students are placed in our course. The highest package in our department is 45 LPA, and the lowest package is 20 LPA. The top recruiting companies are TCS, CTS, and Infosys. 50% of students get internships from our course. The top roles offered in our course are HR and Software Developer.
