So one line for fishery - Grow fish and grow with the fish.
Placements: 1. 99% of students are placed in different sectors. Also, government posts like fishery extension officers can be done with this degree. 2. The highest package is INR 1 lakh, and the lowest is INR 35 thousand. 3. Godrej is the largest recruiting company. 4. 30% student get internships in Godrej company. 5. Scientists, assistant professors, etc. are the top roles offered.
Infrastructure: 1. All departments provide a free Wi-Fi system, and all departments have two 3 labs for doing practical work; classrooms have AC and a projector for seminar purposes; and our library contains a variety of books and journals that provide data all over the world. 2. The hostel is very good and the foods that are provided are like those of our home; they are perfectly made. For medical facilities, there is always a doctor in the faculty, and the students of our faculty are really good at football, cricket, and table tennis. There is also a table tennis playing area and a basketball ball area in the faculty and the playground for football and cricket is also very big. There are three sports tournaments, and a special annual sports event happens in the faculty.
Faculty: 1. All the professors are very well educated and their knowledge is so vast. The main thing is how they taught us the theory and practicals, which are excellent. We really quickly understood all the problems. 2. Yes, this course makes the students ready for other fields and for industry. 3. Difficult means if you study well, it is really easy and will help in your future studies, and anyone who is not studying should know what to say. The percentage for passing is 50%, both for theory and practical.
Other: 1. I chose this course because I have an interest in fish so after high school I chose this course through the ICAR AIEEA entrance exam. The best thing in this course for me as a Bengali student is to know more about fish and nutritive value, as well as different anatomical and behavioral studies. 2. In this course, everything is good, but nothing can be improved. Only all universities that provide B.F.Sc. degree programs should provide good practical fieldwork for mainly undergraduate students; this should be maintained. 3. Events like all Bengal events, Teachers Day, Environment Day, Fisheries Day, etc. are happening. Events like the annual festival, annual sports, freshmen welcome, and farewell program happen. Saraswathi Puja also happens. There are not many people on campus. It is okay. The surroundings are really good; the locality is near a market, a metro station, and a railway station. For students in West Bengal, Swami Vivekananda Cum Merit Scholarships are given by the CM. Also, for those who get any scholarship, the university provides a scholarship. Icar students from other states get national scholarships.

A table of fishery Sciences by Ankush .
Placements: Nearly 100% of students get placed but college is not arranging that, you've to do it on your own Average salary for a fresher range from 25 to 30k per month. Companies like IFB Agro, Godrej Agrovet, Virbac, CP, Avanti, Growell etc. Internships are not provided by the companies, it's provided by the university and ICAR FEO, Feed Technician, Buisness offices etc.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi only in library and departments, classrooms are average, projector, AC are there. Library is full of essential books. Labs are not well, various instruments, equipments are missing. Food is good, mostly tasty food, canteen is not there, food is provided in students mess 2 times. Medical doctors both homoeopathy and allopathy is there. Sports and games are good but needs improvement.
Faculty: Teachers are well qualified and most of them are helpful not all. Teaching quality is good but not in all teachers. This course curriculum is vast. They taught you extra than what you actually need in the field or industry. Student Ready Programs are there to make you industry ready. The semesters are not that difficult but bare minimum study is needed.
Other: I chose this course for the comparatively less competition and job aspects. The best thing about that course is that you get many chances to travel country. The curriculum needs improvement. 10 courses per semester is too much. Many events such as unmesh, Agomoni, throughout year. University merit scholarship is there.
