FISAT - Federal Institute of Science and Technology Ernakulum Answered Questions

FISAT application process for all courses are ongoing. Candidates can fill out the FISAT application form on the official website. The admission registration fee is to be paid for all programmes. Candidates must follow the following steps for online application:Step 1: Visit the official website and click on 'Admission' followed by clicking on the level of the course students' wish to get into.Step 2: Select the school under Christ where the desired course is offered.Step 3: Select the desired course and click on 'Apply Now' written against it.Step 4: Register as a new user by entering the name, contact number, email-id and create a password. Log in again and fill out the complete application form. Pay the application fee and submit the form.

Candidates wishing to apply to courses offered by FISAT must fill out the application form with legitimate details related to their academics. To be eligible for applying to BTech admission at FISAT, candidates must meet the minimum eligibility criteria set out by the institute. For BTech admission, a candidate must have passed Class 12 with minimum 45%  aggregate with PCM and English Core as subjects. The minimum aggregate can vary for candidates from the reserved category. 

There are a total of 8 specialisations offered by FISAT in the BTech course:Civil EngineeringComputer Science & EngineeringElectronics & Communication EngineeringElectrical & Electronics EngineeringElectronics & Instrumentation EngineeringComputer Science & DesignCandidates can choose from the specialisations on offer in their registration form, seats will be allotted based on the performance in entrance exams.

BTech students are placed in top companies at top positions such as TCS, IBM, Orion, Cognizant, IBM,  and others. BTech students are provided with a good understanding of the specialisations in a Societal, Global, and Environmental context, consistent with the principles of sustainable development. The BTech students are taught technical skills and several other skills. Hence, it is worth pursuing BTech at FISAT. 

The mode of Federal Institute of Science and Technology course admissions is online. Admission to various courses is based on merit and entrance exam scores. The accepted entrance exams are CAT,  CMAT, KMAT KERALA, and others. Candidates applying through the CAT must first register for the CAT exams. Then, appear for the entrance test and with valid scores apply on the official website of the college. 

Candidates who have missed the entrance examinations must not worry. These candidates can apply again the next year. When taking admission in FISAT, regret is not an element as the college provides good education to students. The Federal Institute of Science and Technology (FISAT) is a self-financing private Engineering college that was established and promoted by the Federal Bank Officers' Association Educational Society (FBOAES). Federal Institute of Science and Technology was established in 2002 and is accredited with an A+ Grade by NAAC and NBA  (National Board of Accreditation). Hence, the college tries to maintain the quality of education.  

FISAT offers PhD, undergraduate, and postgraduate courses to students. These courses are provided across the Engineering, Management, and various other streams. At the undergraduate level, the college offers BTech courses to students. At the postgraduate level, the college offers MTech courses to students. M.Tech is provided in various specialisations such as Power Electronics and Power Systems, Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, Renewable Energy, VLSI & Embedded Systems, and Structural Engineering & Construction Management.
