FISAT Placement & Salary Insights

The college has not released the placement stats recorded for MBA students for the year 2023. However, as per the placement report 2022, nearly 35 MBA students were placed. For better understanding, students can see the table mentioned below:

FISAT offers PhD, undergraduate, and postgraduate courses to students. These courses are provided across the Engineering, Management, and various other streams. At the undergraduate level, the college offers BTech courses to students. At the postgraduate level, the college offers MTech courses to students. M.Tech is provided in various specialisations such as Power Electronics and Power Systems, Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, Renewable Energy, VLSI & Embedded Systems, and Structural Engineering & Construction Management.

Federal Institute of Science and Technology offers a large diversity of courses to students in Management field. FISAT admissions are held on the basis of entrance tests. Students seeking course admissions must clear their previous qualifying examination and appear for any of the prescribed entrance exams such as KMAT Kerala, CAT, CMAT, among others. The mode of Federal Institute of Science and Technology course admissions is online. Admission to various courses is based on merit and entrance exam scores. The accepted entrance exams are CAT,  CMAT, KMAT KERALA, and others. Candidates applying through the CAT must first register for the CAT exams. Then, appear for the entrance test and with valid scores apply on the official website of the college.

The total intake for Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) is 120 seats.

The total intake for Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) is sixty seats.

BTech students are placed in top companies at top positions such as TCS, IBM, Orion, Cognizant, IBM,  and others. BTech students are provided with a good understanding of the specialisations in a Societal, Global, and Environmental context, consistent with the principles of sustainable development. The BTech students are taught technical skills and several other skills. Hence, it is worth pursuing BTech at FISAT. 

Yes, entrance-based admissions are the main criteria for B.Tech programs, as passing JEE Main or comparable national/state exams is required. Merit and admissions chances are determined by rank on these tests.
Prior to being admitted, students must take and pass national engineering admission exams such as JEE Main. The institute determines the qualifying cut-off scores. Therefore, passing the eligibility test for admission is crucial.
After that, admissions are determined by the entrance exam results' All India ranking. Only the students' JEE Main merit rankings are used to fill seats.

In addition to admission ranking, the 12th standard percentage may also be taken into consideration for seats under reserved quota or at the institute level. However, the determining factor for the majority of seats is entrance exam merit.

FISAT provides housing for 1200 students on campus that is both affordable and of excellent quality. The infrastructure is modern, and the setting is conducive to learning and recreational activities.

As a result of the rigorous design and excellent implementation, students will have more personal space. The ambiance is calm, serene, and secure, having a homey feel about it. There are two blocks in both the boys and girls hostels.

Because we believe in the phrase "Healthy minds reside in healthy bodies, " students are encouraged to use the fitness centre and sports facilities given in the College and hostel blocks. The male hostel has a capacity of 600 people, while the female hostel has a capacity of 600 people. A cutting-edge fitness centre is open to both boys and girls.

Modern amenities are available in the kitchens and mess halls. The hostel has a strict hygiene policy and disposes of garbage using biogas and waste water treatment technology. A trained psychologist is also on hand on campus to ensure the well being of the hostel residents' well-being. Students can grow and learn in a pleasant and stress-free environment thanks to alert wardens and robust security systems.

Certifications: The NBA has recognised FIST's engineering programs for meeting high standards of quality. Only ASIET is ISO certified.
Placements: Every year, more than 250 reputable firms come to FIST to look for students, and over 80% of them are placed. Less than 100 recruiters work with ASIET, which has a 60% placement rate.
Faculty: With a concentration on research cooperation with institutions such as IISc, about 45% of the faculty at FIST are PhD candidates. Less PhDs are at ASIET.
Infrastructure: FIST boasts a 50-acre campus with state-of-the-art labs, dormitories, and recreational spaces like gyms and swimming pools. The infrastructure of ASIET is adequate.

FISAT College cutoff 2024 has been released across various specialisations in opening and closing ranks. FISAT College BTech cutoff 2024 ranged between, 8059 and 46006 for the General AI category candidates, wherein BTech in CSE is the most competitive course. The easiest BTech specialisation to secure admission is B.Tech. in Civil Engineering. The cutoff mentioned below is for the General category under the Home State Quota.

There are no chances of any student to fail in internal but even if a student fails then internals will be re conducted. Every student should put in 75% attendance. Otherwise, the student will not be allowed to appear for the University examination of that semester. The students will have to repeat the term unless the university authorities condone the shortage of attendance.

In terms of factors like total placement, average wage, number of recruiting organizations, and the largest package, Federal Institute of Science and Technology does appear to offer greater placement prospects. Another benefit is the increased industry representation across all sectors.

Placement percentage: More than 80% of students from all branches have been placed at FIST. ASIET has a placement rate of roughly 60%.
Recruiters: More than 250 reputable organizations, such as Microsoft and Infosys, are hosted by FIST for placements. Less than 100 companies are attending ASIET.
the highest package: Microsoft's 43 LPA package is the highest package available at FIST. The ASIET's the highest package is limited to 20 LPA.
Average package: For FIST, the average placement package is between 6-7 LPA, however for ASIET, it is between 3-4 LPA.
Sector-wise placements: FIST offers core engineering positions in the manufacturing, energy, and construction sectors with businesses like BHEL, L&T, etc., while both have placements in IT and software.

If someone misses the internal exams in the Federal Institute of Science & Technology, then either you will have to pay by theory only by scoring high marks.
